When we went inside, there was a lot to see. There are booths where different vendors sell their treasures. We didn't really see much that we were interested in unfortunately. That's pretty unusual for us. The staff also wasn't particularly friendly. No one said anything to us when we walked in and the desk is at the door. That's also unusual. I felt a little underwhelmed but hopefully a visit in will be more promising for someone else.

I bought popcorn on the way in, and it was indeed good. Very clean, and alot of shops to wander around in. I went straight into the quilt shop and bought some beautiful material. I plan on making some pillows in the near future. Wow the quilting shop was one for the books, I could have stayed in there for hrs. So many crafting ideas and nice material. They ladies do offer classes, or can tell you who does in the area. They have antique shops, puzzle store, cook ware, toy store, decor and food for purchase. Im sure I missed a few things. There were over a hundred dealers set up with a mixture local produce, baked goods, antiques, household goods and junk. In addition, there are about 6-7 food trucks serving tacos, smoothies and fair type foods. There is an indoor market with specialty dealers. We arrived early and filled the car with treasures. The local produce was really nice with decent prices. I picked up a delicious cantaloupe. I also bought some flowers. Most of the dealers were interesting and friendly. It took about 90 minutes to go through everything. The walk ways are uneven, I tripped at least once, so be careful. Pets are not allowed (but I saw several dogs). All the dealers I talked with were cash only sales.

I've been here several times, at their current location, and I have always left with at least one box of stuff. Everything is packed in, so I usually take two full laps around the store, as there is so much to see. It's a little dusty, but the treasures are tucked in there, so it's worth it.

I was just in Slindy's on Wednesday 7/22/2015. I asked my children where they wanted to go and my…read moreoldest who is 14 likes military surplus, so we went to Slindy's. I have a 14, 9, and 2 1/2 year old boys. Normally, my 2 year old has to be in a stroller, but I decided I would just follow him around and make sure he didn't disturb anything. He was actually pretty good. No breaking, no touching, just looking and saying what he could of the items he saw. When I was in line to check out, he wandered away about 10 ft from me. I had my eye on him the whole time. All was fine until a very RUDE employee yelled, "Who does this child belong to!", I said me and walked forward. She then decided to tell me in no uncertain terms that she was moving furniture and he had to stay with me at all times. I just layed my things down that I was going to purchase and walked out. It was then that my middle son said to me, Mom, that was the lady who was mean to me. She told me to get out of a room I was looking in. After questioning him whether he was in the right place or not, I decided that she was mean. I know customer service has gone by the way side, but I don't appreciate someone speaking to me or my children in a crappy manner. It is sad to me but they have lost my business forever.

Was in town for a show at the Hollywood Casino and decided to take the day to visit some of the…read morethrift stores, etc. in the area. We went when the outside vendors were not there but let me make it clear.....it is a LOT bigger inside than it looks! I went in the door and turned to the right. There are a multitude of booths run by all different people. There are booths on both sides of the aisles, but I decided to just concentrate on the ones to my right, then come back to the ones on the inner circle. Then there was another room.......and another. Meanwhile, my husband was going here and there but I had specific things in mind to look for and he knew what they were. He ended up finding me two pieces. I never finished the third large room or the other two 'inner circles' before he was ready to go. And I couldn't blame him, we had been there nearly an hour and a half. They have restrooms and coffee/cold drinks available. I believe there is a small charge for the beverages. Some of the booths were jam-packed, so watch your step and if you go, plan on giving yourself plenty of time to look around! There is definitely something for everyone here, you just need to look around! There was one booth where everything was $1, and several others that were running 20 or 25% off off so deals are to be found. I am very happy that we decided to check this place out and next time we are in the area I'm sure we will go again. Maybe in the warmer months when the outside vendors are there.

Most of the vendors that are set up are selling their used items, but I always seem to find a gem. They have a lot of old records. There is always one vendor that I really enjoy going to and it is the one that has a lot of Indian items (I am not sure if he is still set up). It is a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!
