My girlfriend's Buick was absolutely positively stuck in snow packed over 2" of pure ice, next to our apartment. We had tried all the tricks that I know of, being a former New Englander and dealing with this issue before. I gave up, so I called AAA and requested a driver pull the car just a few feet to get it out of the spot. Glenn's Towing showed up about an hour and a half later (on a Saturday), and the driver was courteous, and efficient. You can't ask for much more! Highly recommend.

Joe Mays Towing came to my home in the middle of the night and towed my car from the parking lot…read morewithout cause. I've parked in the same spot every single day for the past two years with no issues. I got home from work around 8 PM, parked as usual, and when I went outside at 8 AM to leave for work, my car was gone. They towed my vehicle 10 miles away and then charged me $300 to get my own car back. The person who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude during the entire interaction. He told me my car was towed because my permit "wasn't shown," even though it absolutely was. He also admitted they towed another car because the permit was "hidden," which tells me they are not even properly checking for permits before towing people's vehicles. When I questioned their pricing, he said that if I needed a tow from the side of the road it would be a "different rate," but refused to tell me what that rate even is. Completely sketchy and suspicious behavior. The fact that they can't or won't provide the standard roadside tow rate raises more concerns about the legitimacy of the $300 charge. I also asked for an itemized receipt and proof that my permit supposedly "wasn't there," and they refused to provide either. That alone says everything about how they operate. This was completely unnecessary, stressful, and expensive--especially when my permit was visible the whole time. Their behavior shows a lack of care, professionalism, and accuracy when towing from residential areas.

A small one-guy shop but he's a good guy. He does a thorough but reasonable job on inspections,…read morewill show you where there are issues brewing. He doesn't find trumped-up problems just to generate business for himself -- he's honest. I know this because I've gotten second opinions. He will also show you in detail what he did (or is going to do) to your car, if you want. His costs are reasonable and his work has been great (I've had no follow-up issues or problems). He's been prompt in getting my jobs done. I think his main expertise is Toyotas but can do pretty much anything, but he will tell you if the job is beyond his expertise. Overall I would say HONEST, RELIABLE, and REASONABLY PRICED.
