Big Red Flag Warning. I couldn't even rate this a one star but as this was our only option; here…read morewe are. We initially took our boat here to get our small 2 stroke engine fixed and we dropped nearly $300 on it to get it resolved. We then later took our Can Am ATV about the same time expecting both to be fixed within the week. They advised they could fix both. The boat came back within the week and we took it out on the lake twice. We were told that there was issues with the chain on the ATV and they said they would have to quote us on the parts and would charge us just to look at it. We never heard back from them and kept calling for a status. They told us they had to order a tool in which to look at the ATV to figure it out. At this point our ATV was held hostage for over 8 weeks and during week 7 we told them that we needed a report as we needed to get the ATV it by the end of the week (being from out of town and driving nearly 900 miles to come get the ATV we wanted to be sure it would be ready.) They advised us that the knew what the problem was and it would cost $1300 to fix. When we got back to town, they said it was fixed but the service light was still lit though they didn't know why they said that we shouldn't need to worry about it. We drove it about 1 mile on the trail and it broke down AGAIN. They had to tow it back and said they would fix it for us. Four days later we had to call them again for a status (they don't call us to keep us updated); they said they couldn't figure out where the person who worked on it originally had left off because he was out for the week so they want to wait till he returned. We told them that wasn't acceptable and we needed to get the ATV before the end of the week. I noted to them that we dropped over $1600 with them to fix the boat and the ATV and both the boat and ATV are still not working plus they have had adequate time to fix the issue neither of which they have done for us. Meanwhile, on this trip we took the boat back on on the third time after getting it back from them it wouldn't start with the same issues experience before. (Go Figure). By the end of the week we came to their store and low and behold, they were conveniently closed on the Saturday.(on a day they say they are open for 4 hours) I half believe they closed deliberately knowing we were anticipating getting the ATV from them as we told them we were leaving town the next day. As it turns out, Monday after we got home they call us to say that the initial issue we brought it in for was in fact not the issue they fixed and that after further review they weren't going to attempt to fix it; they said the ATV was basically scrap metal. So with that in mind, I am warning people from going to this establishment. I spoke to a different ATV repair location and they informed me that CAN AM'S require specialized software to fix those ATVS, and Lucky 13 should have known this. I believe that they knew they couldn't fix the issue but saw an opportunity to fix another obvious repair that they thought they could squeeze some extra money out of us; regardless that the ATV was not repairable. I should have taken it as a warning after picking it up the first time when we said we were driving the ATV home rather than hauling it back that they acted nervous and asked why we were driving it instead of trailering it back. I realize this is the only ATV repair place in town but I implore anyone with any sense NOT to go here. If you happen to break down in Park Falls, invest in a trailer or find someone to help haul your ATV somewhere and take it elsewhere if you can. At this point our only recourse is to take them to small claims court, however I wanted to share a buyer beware of this place in hopes to keep anyone else from having a bad experience like we did. You can inquire also about town at the auto parts stores and gas stations; had we have done that before taking our boat and ATV we would have been informed of the same.

We originally talked with Kenny, who wrote us up a quote on a new 2026 Polaris General XP 4 1000 Ultimate.....GREAT PRICE! When we went into the store to check out the General, it was Kenny's day off so Andrew and Lance took over and provided a wealth of information on all aspects of the vehicle. Up to this point we'd had a couple of recommendations related to buying a Polaris General and the information provided by these three great salespeople at Erv's confirmed that this was the vehicle, and the price, we were looking for. Since we'd also checked and gotten quotes for this model at dealers in Three Lakes, Woodruff and Antigo, and since Tomahawk was the closest place for us to get service, and since we had gotten such great reviews of Erv's from friends in Rhinelander, we sealed the deal and made the purchase. Bottom line...we couldn't be happier with the salespeople, or with Beth in the finance department who did all of our paperwork! My wife and I would HIGHLY recommend Erv's Sales and Service for the purchase of your next ATV/UTV or any outdoor "toy".

I've also had motors serviced here both for routine tuneups and more serious problems. Again always friendly people. My only gripe is that it often takes quite a while to get my boats back. It's first come first serve so you need to plan ahead for a time when you wont' need your boat or (I assume) ATV or whatever for a while. Job is always done right though and they seem to appreciate your business.
