They completed the work on the roof relatively quickly (October '17). And, it looks very nice. However, there was a VERY small portion of siding that needed to be replaced. I was told they'd send a crew out to take care of it. A couple months later I got a call asking for the second check. I told them I would happily pay them once the work was complete (siding). This seemed to be a surprise to them. A few weeks later they called again. This time to tell me I needed to go get the siding and they would install it. Not what I was expecting, but okay. We had several calls asking when I'd have the siding. Not wanting to inventory siding at my house, my reply was always "I can have it whenever you're ready, just let me know when you'll be in the area." I never got a date when they'd be there. Our last communication was 6/14/18 (9 months after starting). Saturday, 10/27/18 there's a knock on my door... it's the siding guy from New America. He was as confused as I was about the lack of communication and the fact that the materials weren't there. After he made a couple of phone calls we decided, he'd wait there while I ran and go the materials. Fifteen minutes after my return the job was done. And, it too looked very nice. My 3-star rating is due to the complete lack of communication, the length of time it took to complete the job, and their (seeming) lack of desire to finish the whole project. Finally, I would recommend having them give you an estimate RATHER than just using the insurance companies. You can reconcile the estimate with the claim rather than them.
