Joseph is great! He replaced my alternator, battery, and the cooling system hoses, plus a tune-up, on my BMW which had been sitting in my garage for over a year because it was going to cost me a lot of money to get it back on the road. I was going to leave it behind when I decided to move to Texas, but when he gave me his estimate and time, I agreed, and he came through. My 2007 BMW 335i performed without any problems going through the southwest in August, and I was able to get it up to over 100 mph without any kind of stalling, etc. Now I'm happily driving it in Texas where the legal speed limit on the tollways is 85 mph. I bought another car in CA to bring here in October, and I am going to have Joseph do all the repairs that it needs before I bring it over. He is honest about the work that needs to be done, and he does it the cost that he originally estimated. Like all mobile mechanics, you should make sure you have a margin of error on your time because people like Joseph don't stock parts. If you don't need your car tomorrow, mobile mechanics are a great way to get your car fixed, and Joseph is the best of them. I don't often share recommendations, but I heartily endorse Joseph. I have always wanted my own mechanic, just like I have my own doctor, dentist, etc., but I have never found one after living in the Bay Area for over 30 years. Joseph was extremely helpful in explaining what he thought might be wrong with the cars evap system. Came out the first time just to diagnose the vehicle (at no charge). Second time around, he started to try different things to see where the two leaks were. Discovered that it was the vent valve solenoid, and got it ordered by the next day. Joseph was amazingly kind, friendly, and responsive. I thought my brakes were sounding funny and that my car needed new pads, but he checked it out and insisted that the brakes were looking really good and that there was nothing the car really needed. He even picked me up from my house so we could drive around and recreate the sound that I was worried about. I called multiple places to get a quote as the last time I took my car in recomended I get new brakes as well as a few other things. They said it would cost about $800 to replace everything. My car was getting to the place where I thought it would need to have my brakes etc replaced. This time I did some research on yelp and asked for some quotes. All of the repair shops wouldn't quote anything unless I brought it in. Joseph as different he gave me some quotes but told me to send the recomendations from my previous mechanic. Joseph scheduled the appointment within days of calling. On the day of arriving he texted me letting me know he was running a little bit late as he was getting my parts. Joseph inspected my brakes and informed me that they were fine and that the other things my mechanic told did not need to be replaced, because of this instead of pay over $800 for repairs I was out of pocket under $100. Joseph is an honest mechanic as he drove all the way out to my house and told me upfront that what my previous mechanic was telling me was not true.
