We were not able to go up into the attic due to our age to see for ourselves how bad it was. Called Alliance and explained the situation. Kelly came over within a few hours, took photos, exactly explained the situation, told us our options, ordered a new water heater and set us up to have it installed on Monday. Kelly and Alfredo arrived on time on Monday, installed the new water heater, took photos and cleaned up. The quick turnaround possibly saved us from having a leak through our ceiling. We are long time customers of Alliance and have always been happy with their service and the friendliness of their staff. We would give Alliance an A+ rating and recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. Ray & Mary French - Brook Forest Drive, Clear Lake

So paid him $100 for 5 minutes visit Response to the comment: John, yes you said $400 for cartridge change while looking at the bathtub faucet. Also, I sent a detailed messages with photos about the issues before your trip.

The…read moreold tank had sprung a major leak and was dripping water all over garage floor (& then into buckets we'd placed beneath the tank). What a mess! The first heater the young plumbers, Devin & Ontario, installed wouldn't keep a lit pilot light. The honest business owner, Donald, drove out to my house to have a look, confirmed that the first new water heater was defective, and told the guys to do it all over again. So Devin & Ontario carefully removed their first install and installed another new water heater. They left their work area squeaky-clean and installed the new on/off gas & water valves as I'd specifically requested. They started at 10AM that morning and finished everything by 3:00 PM. Best of all, they did not add a single charge onto the quote Donald gave us, despite doing twice the labor. I love my new fancy huge water heater! Great job, Modern Plumbing!

They will honestly tell you what kind of service life to expect from various parts at different levels of pricing. They will also help you come up with solutions from problems. The advice is free so do with it what you will but it is always helped me. They stock pretty much everything you need to do most plumbing jobs. Iron pipe is cut to custom sizes and thread on site. They even sell seats and stems for dated Price Pfister fixtures. Pricing is competitive and you do get deals if you buy in bulk. The men who work at the parts counter take your payments instead of having to go see a cashier at a large supply house. This is a plus point because many times the cashier is not present or backed up with other customers ahead of you.
