Contrary to common sense, I felt comfortable paying him in advance (based on the referral from a mutual friend), but my checks were cashed and the job left unfinished. I had to hire another contractor who completed what Chris hadn't finished and the job (along with a couple of additional items) were done in a professional manner within one week. Chris has not responded to orders to appear in court so that I can attempt to get my money back, that was basically stolen from me (oh - I also had jewelry and an electronic device "go missing" while he and his workers were alone in my home - no compensation for that either). I don't know how he has managed to stay in business as long as he has, and am pretty sure that the two 2015 positive YELP reviews were submitted by himself or family members. If you encounter this guy working under the Most Wanted Construction name or any other, RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Their workmanship was great, very skilled and most importantly very careful. To compare another contractor came cut new baseboard because this wasn't in handycrews scope of work and within 8 hours they damaged my cabinet and cracked our brand new tiles. So great job Handycrew for weeks of work with no damage!!!
