I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff member who attended to us was rude and unprofessional. When we sat down, instead of offering to take our order, the waiter repeatedly suggested that we go to the restaurant in the lobby, even though I was looking at the menu to order. He came by our table three times, and each time I selected something from the menu, he insisted that it would be better if we went down to the lobby instead. Like he assumed that the food at the lobby restaurant would be more to our liking. This was incredibly frustrating and rude_his job is to take our order, not to push us away from the restaurant, make assumptions or suggestions.
To make matters worse, he called over the manager and stared at us from a distance, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. I don't understand why the reception desk even directs guests to the terrace restaurant if they are not going to be welcomed or served properly.
It's extremely disappointing that the staff seems uninterested in serving hotel guests and instead seems intent on driving them away. The whole situation left a very negative impression of this place. If you're going to run a restaurant, at least ensure your staff is doing their job--taking orders and serving food--not suggesting where you should eat based on their own preferences. read more
