Once I replied they offered a fair and honest assessment. I treasure honesty and not asking to come out and change me an inspection fee on something that likely can not be fixed or fixed at high cost verse just being honest that it is likely time you just buy a new dryer. While I didn't employ this business for the repair, I felt giving them a review for their exemplary ethics was earned.

No issues with the technician would did spend a bit of time taking the oven apart. He tested the control board and said it was the issue, collected my service fee, then an hour later sent an estimate for more than the price I paid for the oven two years ago. I can look at the part online and they are wanting to charge double, plus $500 for roughly the same labor that they just spent doing for a $65 service fee. So while they were quick to respond and nice enough... I'm still up a creek with less money and more wasted time.

They promptly replied, that it was 14 years old (we bought the house 3 years ago & didn't know how old it was), explained which part was bad, told they is they don't make it anymore, & unfortunately it was on its last legs. Rather than charge us for a service call to tell us in person what we suspected, that we need to buy a new one, they were kind & upstanding & told us via email. They also recommended a brand, as well as which brand to avoid. When we went to purchase the new 'fridge, the sales person confirmed everything Mike's said. Honesty, integrity, & promptness are qualities that are hard to find these days! We are so appreciative to not have been taken advantage of! I highly recommend Mike's!!
