Tried two different chicken broth bases. This location's menu is different than the ones in the bay area in terms of what's on each tier. The drinks are also a different brand (this one had lychee as well). Sauce bar, watermelon, drinks and ice cream are self serve. Ambience is quite nice interior, plentiful parking and looks old on the outside.

The hot dogs are great, but they were out of onions. They offer nachos with corn -- also out of corn. As for the bartenders/servers: They were nice enough; they're not reliably stationed at the bar, and even when I went looking, I came up empty, which took away from our limited time in the room. Then there's the 18% service fee, which appears nowhere on their website -- not on the pricing page, not in a search. Maybe I missed it, but it's buried deeply if it's stated. This is on top of the $65/hour rate, which requires a two-hour minimum Monday through Wednesday. Is the fee a tip? A staffing surcharge? Nobody explained it. I tipped 20% on top of it anyway, and I regret that. Maybe the tenders pocket the 18% -- I genuinely don't know. The prices were outrageous! Can't bring in outside wine with a corkage fee. Ok, I get that. Why? Because you can only buy wine by the bottle. $65 for a bottle of Prosecco. Want a gin and tonic? Sure, but no tonic. Drinks had a spare pour. Conversely, it's one of the few karaoke bars in the area. The birthday girl had a great time, and that's really all that mattered in the moment.

We opted for a medium size room, which had a bar-like seating area and multiple couches. Salt & Pepper Fish: This was crispy and well-seasoned and personally my favorite snack/dish! Green Beans: There was a good balance of garlic and spice, and this made for a good side vegetable dish. Empress Martini: They originally brought out the wrong drink (Espresso Martini) and double-downed that it was the correct drink. Thankfully, I was able to convince them that it was the incorrect drink, and I was brought the Empress Martini instead, which was refershing and smooth. Good food and drinks, and the selection of music is ample to choose from (there is also the option of searching up Youtube videos).

A good place to meet with friends and try something new, my cousin comes here a lot and highly recommended visiting. I think this is a more casual spot for food, I would love to come at night. my sandwich was good, I feel that the flavor was lacking but the texture was amazing and everything went well together... We came to this location on a Sunday night because there was a long wait at another restaurant. There were no customers, just one cook in the back with a kiosk in front to order. Normally, no customers would be a red flag but we ate there anyway because we knew the brand name, Koja. The food was okay but everyone in my party had an upset stomach the next few days. It started that evening, and our party represented three separate home. We really think it was the food. That said, maybe it was an off day, or maybe Koja Kitchen has had their day. But from my experience, I wasn't totally thrilled. Didn't like feeling sick days after.
