Oh Stony Point, how far you've fallen…read more I don't know if it's COVID or what has brought about the mass exodus from this outdoor shopping center but it's a shell of what it used to be. 10 years or so ago - I was so impressed with all the stores here. Some of them the only high end ones until you get to DC. Tiffany's, Restoration Hardware, Anthropologie, Sur la Table, body stores, Bebe, Saks 5th Ave and tons more. Tiffany's and RH remain. As well as Saks and a few others holding on like Pandora and Brighton, but that's it. A vast majority of the shops have closed as well as the restaurants. I remember when this was a bustling shopping center with children playing in the main area and people walking their pets. It was a ghost town today. I hope it can be revived.

I hate to say it, but this place was DEAD when I went. NO ONE was there, and several storefronts…read morewere vacant. I don't know if Short Pump Town Center drew away all the business or what, but Stony Point is doing something very wrong. It shouldn't be this DEAD so close to downtown. I hate to compare it with a place from back home, but I couldn't help but think of the Domain in Austin, TX. Any time you go to the Domain, it's jumping. Like it's always popping there. And they are the exact same type of property. Yes, Austin is a much bigger city and the Domain's a much bigger area, so I'm not expecting Stony Point to be on par. But it was still kind of dead. I was expecting it to be just a little more popping.

I came in here recently looking for Christmas cards and wrapping paper and was surprised that they…read morehad a lot in stock (less than 5 days before Christmas). This location is very nice and organized and the employees are helpful. I was able to find what I needed plus much more. They also had like 3 registers open which is unheard of for dollar tree.

This Dollar Tree is rude to its white customers and disabled white customers. The cashier,…read moreKurtrell, told me out loud so the store manager, and all of the customers could hear that he lied to me about the Dollar Tree not accepting EBT/SNAP cards because he didn't know how to process them and his customer check out line was long and he didn't want to hold it up. So I had to pay for items unnecessarily. The manager, James did not apologize. I am on Hospice with end stage heart failure so I am on disability and a limited income. The stress of the situation certainly didn't help my heart function either. But all people no matter what color should be treated with kindness, empathy, and with respect. This Dollar Tree does not hold those values. I will never shop there again and I'm sure they're glad. When you're in customer service that's your job to take care of customers and treat them with respect as long as they are respectful to you, which I was and always am. I discourage anyone from shopping there. One should promote a business who treats anyone disrespectful. Customers are their lifeline and they should treat them as such. I have called corporate several times, but have not received a phone call back. It starts at the top; if the Dollar Tree corporate doesn't care how their customers are treated, nor the Dollar Tree managers care how they customers are treated, then their associates won't care they treat customers. If I could give -5 stars, I would.
