Went here for a company outing. It was ok, some of the areas looked really run down (i.e., mini golf) but overall it was good. They had go-karts which the kids enjoyed, and a rock wall. Would have been great if we were able to use the pool but that was off limits for our group. Would rate one star if I could. My child worked there full time, plus extra hours as a bus monitor and was paid $3 per hour and got a check bi-weekly. Don't know how that's legal. They assigned her as a "shadow" which basically was just looking over a special needs child. She was constantly overwhelmed because they didn't train her for that child and their needs. If that was my child and they constantly left my child out of activities or let her roam like she owns the place I'd be pissed. I'd expect her to go there, learn while having fun, and find ways to cope with her disability or live with it, not learn that she's not normal and has to be wild to get what she wants. My child also had to stay in the rain for hours and after that, in wet clothes for some more hours and got incredibly sick the next day. No sympathy from the camp. Wish I could leave a negative star review, please don't waste your money on this camp. Find one that has people who actually are paid for their job and that treat children well. read more

I had two bad experiences with dealing with Ivy league Camp. First I won a gift certificate for 3000$ , from a fund raiser, to apply towards camp. I was beyond excited to send my son to this camp as they offer wonderful activities. In trying to redeem the certificate there were all of these stipulations which were not listed on the certificate. The camp director said he needed to attend at least 4 weeks of the camp which would cost me 5000$ along with the gift certificate. I was only interested in sending my son for 2 weeks. After about 2 weeks of going back and forth the owner finally agreed that my son could attend the camp for 2 weeks and I would be charged 1000$ so in essence I paid for him to attend the camp. Additionally the camp director was extremely rude and I requested to speak to the owner. The second bad experience was my son applied to work as a junior counselor for this upcoming summer. He interviewed for the position and was offered a position as a floater with a salary of 582.00$ for 7 weeks of work (about 4.00$ an hour). He called to accept the position and then the same camp director rescinded her offer and said she wasn't happy how he interviewed. He is 15 years old and this was his first interview and he was nervous. When I tried to speak to her she was extremely rude and obnoxious. The owner then supported her and he is a real jerk!! Please take into serious consideration sending your child to this over-priced camp!! read more

Whatever you do, please DO NOT send your child to this camp. What they did to my son was inexcusable. The camp r breached a contract agreement, the camp director and owner insulted his character, were extremely condescending and hostile towards him. The camp grounds and classrooms are very old and dirty as well. The staff are mostly underpaid and inexperienced teenagers. Please do not patronize a business like this! read more

Ivy League is a great camp. They manage to combine the charm of the summer camp I went to growing up and incorporate modern technology to make communication among parents/staff/campers easier. We had a terrible experience with this camp. We found the owner and the director only f this camp extremely unprofessional and use very shady business practices. my family and I did not feel safe sending our 3 year old to this camp due to numerous communication issues and the virus. We asked for a refund in March (within contract guidelines) the director told us not to worry and will give us a an extension for a refund to May 1st. We called back 3 weeks later asking for a refund again (April 20th) and the Director told us she will not process our refund. She flat out lied to us she had my wife crying hysterical. When I emailed the owner (Noah) of what had occurred he acknowledged that he did owe us a refund minus $300 registration fee but will not give it to us for 12-18 months. He also stated I lied and took advantage of a teacher discount and that I made it clear I am not a teacher when in fact I actually am a practicing certified teacher of students with disabilities for over 5 years. The director also told us she can his an extension for refund as a courtesy and not an obligation and doesn't even have to give me anything back. Please do not support a business like this. Horribly cheap, They are so cheap here.You pay Top dollar for travel camp and they are very clever in this department.On a one week travel trip they will not fly kids on a 2 hour plane ride and instead will put kids on a bus for a whopping 18 hours monday and another 18 hours friday on way home.They could care less about kids, its so unfair.But they than pay 0 airfare and than for two days they have no hotel or any activities to pay for.A win win for the owners of this camp.Boy are they so cleaver!! Disgusting ! Also they send out email requests for you to help pay there employees in a staggering amount of Tips because it seems they do not pay there employees more than a few dollars a day . Camps are legally exempt from paying minimum wage to seasonal employees and as such they have a work force that has kids working all day very hard for a few dollars a day. This is outrageous that camp owners profit off this, the hard work of kids ! read more

I sent my daughter this camp last year in the summer of 2018. The camp director Meredith claimed that they provided care for kids with special needs and children on the spectrum. My daughter has problems with transitioning and we paid extra money to have a shadow/aide help her. The aide she received was experienced with handling children on the spectrum. My daughter enjoyed the camp so much that we decided to send our son there also next year. My son is also on the spectrum. So, we paid extra money so that each child would have a shadow/aide to assist them at camp. The aides my children received this year were only high school kids and of course had no experience dealing with children on the spectrum. I was highly disappointed to find out that the aides were nothing more than older children. During my children's first week we received phone calls from the nurse and pink slips indicating that one of the kids were injured and received treatment by the nurse. On the last day of their first week there I received a call from the camp director Meredith at 6:00 in the evening well after camp hours stating that there was incident involving my son. She claimed that my son went into the bathroom and was in there for quite a while long time (with no supervision) so a counselor decided to check on him and stated that he found my son with his head in the toilet bowl and that he was drinking the toilet water. When I asked about the about the incident report/pink slip indicating that he was seen by the nurse after this incident I was advised by both the owner Noah and Meredith that he was not treated by the nurse and that they was no need to have him checked out by a medical provider. So, there was no incident report or phone call to either me or my husband stating that there was incident that day involving my son. When I asked the camp director Meredith if she found her own child drinking from a toilet bowl would she send him to the nurse to be checked out and she stated no she would not send her own child to get checked out by a nurse. The owners and the camp director Meredith clearly didn't give a damn about my child. The owner Noah and the camp director Meredith flat out lied to us. Please do not send your child to the camp. They clearly don't care about the welfare of these children and only care about making money and they will go to any lengths to make money including endangering the care of a child and lying to cover up any negligence on their part. read more

My daughter has been attending Ivy League camp for the past 3 summers. The camp is an amazing place with such a variety of daily activities for kids to participate in. From arts and crafts to go karts to yoga and horseback riding, my daughter comes home everyday excited about all the fantastic things she gets to do each day. Her daily swimming lessons have helped my daughter be both safe and confident in the water. Ivy league has increased her confidence and helped her gain an understanding of the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. The staff is incredible and goes out of their way to make sure each camper shines and excels throughout the summer. My daughter has made so many new friends through her camp experience and spends the school year counting down the days until her first day of camp. Ivy League is an incredible place that I would recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience for their child! read more

My 3 children attended another local camp for the last few years. They had fun, but Ivy League is their new home and no one is looking back. It truly has a family feel, with owners, directors and division heads involved in all parts of the camp. My kids love meeting kids of different ages in their before care program when I'm headed off to work earlier than the camp day officially starts. Their favorite activities include the go karts, sky bounce, adventure course, ceramics, woodworking, and cooking! Let's not forget about swim. They have all excelled in strengthening their strokes, and the one who refused to put his face in the water is now excited to pass his levels and catch up to his siblings. The love and attention they receive from their counselors, life guards, and specialists is amazing. They have spent the last 6 weeks having more fun than ever before. They have also come home talking about earning their high five bracelets for behaviors like respect and confidence. What more could a parent ask for? We are happy to say we will be returning next year and are bringing some friends along too!!! read more
