Found these services, after buying other vendors' resume assistance drafting services, partially valuable, but overall suggestions are a guesstimate of what is appealing on the resume. One vendor advises on one style and format, the other consultant advises against it. Good counter perspectives to hear, but ultimately your decision on what would work best to represent you and your skills to potential new positions. I got reach out by them to participate in a survey for Business Professional. There were some pre-screening questions and depending on respond, I got follow up message that I was selected to take part in paid survey. It lasted for about 45 min and was paid via gift card as promised. It takes time to fill in all the questions, if you have time on your end, worth shot giving a try. read more

Every feature of this site has no value. The resume/linkedin review offering is pretty close to a scam. Each is 15 minutes of someone rattling off a script of common recommendations for each, and showing you where you do and don't tick the box. As a job seeker, I have had the exact same advice from every source imaginable, including Google and chat GPT. The job board is very thin, and very niche. Not even one job relevant to my career. The survey opportunities are extremely specific, and none have been relevant to me. The fees are exorbitant to what you get here. Be very careful to not let your free trial expire, they do not allow exceptions to policies. read more

I had the chance to give a professional dissertation on use of maps and geofencing. Used my last four projects, the discussion lasted an hour, for $130 compensation. Very easy, relaxed, and I want to do more studies for Ivy Exec. Waiting to hear back on my next one, for next week. Way better then dong surveys, and not getting aid for them! read more

No one answers their customer care phone number and no one responds to messages sent through their contact page. A total waste of money. Just had a call with Andjela on how to make my IT Executive resume more appealing. It was super helpful! With concrete feedback on how to restructure the sections (what to move around, what to leave out) and in my case, shorten it overall. Most valuable, though, was to hear that 85% of executive jobs are obtained not by applying online, but via relationships. Makes sense, I was focussing on applying online way too much and I think a lot of us do. It's easier, but it leads to almost nothing, in my case anyway. read more

What kind of ersatz hr outsourcing company is this? I attempted to apply for a job I was extremely qualified for when I was sent to ivy exec's website to fill out yet another job application that has its own format requirements for your resume, making you re-enter job by job experience. I was glad to see they had a way to link my already robust LinkedIn version of my resume, so I clicked the button...and again...and again... finally I contacted the website to ask why I was having trouble logging in to finish my application to this job that drew me there in the first place. I was told it takes time, sometimes upwards of 48 hours, I wrote back, "in this job market, 48 hours is too long". Flash forward to 48 hrs later, I'm looking at the same job listing on indeed.com's daily email alert, and I re-attempt. I was greeted with an alert page "regretfully informing" me that I was not qualified to become a member of this website. Huh? I'm totally qualified for the job, what's this bs about some middleman website telling me I cant apply? Welcome to the future where most work is outsourced, labor and talent marginalised, and the work that's left delegated by out of touch individuals in human resources departments or worse, some website run by a bunch of 20 year old monkeys with ipads with no real advertising or print industry experience. read more

While Ivy Exec provides a great paid service, the amount of training and educational materials ANYONE can receive for free is ridiculous (not that I'm complaining!) Every webinar offered (typically 3-4 a month) is always pertinent to executive leadership regardless of your industry and is always led by a cutting edge leader in a given field. The same can be said for their articles. If you are an executive with a desire to keep learning and stay "in the know" sign up for their mailing list at the very least. This is a great resource of articles, webinars and and robust job search site that is ahead of the curve when it comes to sourcing job opportunities. Also very important is the excellent customer services provided by the reps. I called customer services first thing in the morning and later that morning one of their very responsive representatives, Vanja Karlicic, quickly worked to resolve my issue and even went to step ahead by setting up my profile correctly so that I would not experience that issue again. They set up the interview time, communicated well, and everything went smoothly. The email with payment details came within 24 hours of the interview and the card came about a week later in the mail. I was skeptical at first how a resume critique can be done in 15 minutes and was relieved 2 minutes into the conversation. Andjela is obviously very knowledgeable and proficient on this topic. She is able to give me suggestions based on best practices from resume template, format, and content. 15 minutes does not allow detail review for each statement or depth, however, directionally, the session gave me a very clear path on what next steps are for me to improve. Amazing company with awesome research studies. I love working with them.

This is a scam. Ivy Exec pretends to be a 'member club' but they're business model is selling users data, EVEN THOUGH they charge for membership and events. They charge to be a 'member' of an 'exclusive club.' and then they want you to pay upwards of $30 for their 'member events.' It's not a special club to belong to. They are spamming and advertising constantly to get new suckers. The 'rep' will tell you you only have a few days to decide if you're going to pay to join and they conduct fake interviews to make it seem desirable. If you say no they will constantly send spam email, send linked in messages, send notes in any fashion. Like others have said, it's impossible to unsubscribe. They say you have to contact someone to unsubscribe- what bull, that person is probably just going to take your data. I was also on the other end, an advertiser who they tried to sell data about users. It seemed sort of sketchy at the time, but they claimed to have 'the top people in society' that we could get data and info from. They did a horrible job and weren't able to recruit the right people. It makes more sense now why they couldn't get the 'right' people for research. This company should be shut down. read more
