I've been reading through some of the other reviews here, and I noticed a few people had a very different reaction than I did, especially around Xanthia being direct or to the point. I understand that everyone has different expectations when it comes to bedside manner, customer service, and how much explanation they want before making a decision. That's fair. But I also think it's important to separate someone being direct from someone being dishonest or trying to scam you. My experience has been the opposite. Yes, this is a smaller shop. But that does not take away from the quality of care they provide. If anything, I appreciate that they are more straightforward. Could something be explained for 20 minutes instead of 10 seconds? Sure. Some people may prefer that. But personally, I would rather have someone tell me directly what they see, what they recommend, and whether I want to move forward. In this industry, there is a lot of fluff. There are a lot of places that make everything sound amazing, sell you packages, push products, and promise results that do not always show up. None of that matters to me if the results are not there. I will take directness and real results over polished sales talk any day. At no point have I ever felt pushed into doing something I did not need. I never felt like they were trying to squeeze more money out of me. In fact, one of the things I appreciate most is that they seem much more focused on what actually makes sense for my skin than on trying to sell me everything possible, even when I inquired about a service that was more expensive. My results speak for themselves. I've had two subcision sessions and two microneedling session, and I've already seen real improvement. After years of trying Fraxel, microneedling, and other treatments elsewhere, that matters to me. So I understand that not everyone may like a no-nonsense style. But for me, I value honesty, skill, and results. And based on my own experience, OC Spa has delivered exactly that.
