Walking through Frederiksted town St. Croix (on the west side of the island) I spotted this gem of a lounge on Market Street. Legendz Lounge is truly an impressive bar and lounge that will probably be one of the nicer local watering-holes on island; more specifically, Frederiksted. This place is a much needed factor on the west side because it caters more to the local island music and artists. As a matter of fact, I actually met the famous singer Pressure BussPipe there! Legendz Lounge is super spacious inside and gives plenty of room for the crowd to dance. They have excellent lighting with strobes and other effects to add to the ambiance. The air-conditioning is wicked nice and set to chill. There's an open-floor, bar seating, corner-seating, a VIP Corner and also (what looks to be) a VIP Room. Their bathrooms were also spacious and super-clean. Their full-bar will cater to almost any taste profile and they also carry a wide top-shelf variety for those with impeccable taste. I'm seeing as they just opened recently, they're still working on taking card payments, but they always take cash and there's an ATM just around the corner at the nearby bank (so that's not a dealbreaker). We also had rice and peas (traditional Caribbean fare), stewed chicken which was flavorful and rich, Kingfish in Creole sauce (we both didn't care for this, it had a bit of fishy taste for me), and stewed pork. We also tried their version of Provisions, which is simply root vegetables cooked together with rich seasonings. Our version had sweet potatoes, plantains, and yams. We loved this dish!
