I had a lower bleph and chemical peel in May of 2025 by Dr. Vrcek. I was immediately pleased with the results, but waited to review to be certain I loved it. I can honestly say this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I'm 37, and I've looked refreshed since last May. No need for under eye concealer. No longer look tired. My under-eye area has remained bright and smooth. It's truly incredible. Love love love my results. Oh- and Dr. Vrcek could not have been more kind. He promptly responded to my emailed concerns and checked in on me. Incredible care!

One year since upper and lower eyelid surgery, ptosis repair, fat repositioning, endo brow lift, and chemical peel. First, my husband and I absolutely agree that Dr. Vrcek is kind and very accessible both prior to and after surgery. While I believe he tries to have his patient's best interest in mind, he failed me. Upon reviewing my insurance claims, we discovered Dr. Vrcek also performed ectropion repair, We had no idea he intended to do this procedure, and it wasn't until after the fact that we learned it had been included. I had never suffered with hanging lower eyelids or any issues that would necessitate such repairs. When I expressed concerns about eye shape, I assured me that he wasn't doing anything to alter it. When I followed up about the ectropion repair, he said that tightening the lower tendon during ptosis repair is a procedure he often performs. When consulting with another oculoplastic surgeon, who had examined me a few months prior, he stated ectropion repair is not a part of standard ptosis surgery and he had not noted my having it during his exam. He also performed festoon elevation. We had a very brief consultation about minor malar bags, which I mentioned could be addressed with my upcoming facelift and neck lift in a few months if that surgeon felt it was needed. Discovering this was done, again without my consent, was deeply upsetting. I sent Dr. Vrcek photos showing how the natural hooding I grew up with was now gone as swelling resolved. The significant amount of skin and fat removed was far more than expected. When I initially consulted with him, I was quoted $2,000 for upper eyelid surgery, with the understanding that it would be a simple skin removal procedure. He initially stated that insurance would not cover both skin removal and ptosis repair, and that we would save a lot or money having the ptosis repair covered. Later, he revised his statement, saying that insurance may not cover both procedures In response to the photos I sent, he replied, "If a patient were to show me a picture of themselves in their 20s, but they're in their 40s or later, I would tell them it's not possible for me to make it look like they did in their 20s." I simply wanted to look like me but refreshed. I didn't expect perfection but did expect to still look like myself, with the integrity of my natural features intact. He also mentioned that it's challenging for surgeons when patients send photos from their younger selves and then compare them to photos taken during the healing process, which are often less flattering due to lighting and swelling. He said, "I don't think any surgeon could successfully pass this test." The photos I sent were not intended to compare images of my youth to my current post-surgery appearance but to show how my eyelids had changed. I had a natural hooding and a small lid platform before the surgery, and now I no longer do. The pain in and around my eyes remains a constant challenge. I am also experiencing trigeminal neuralgia, causing sharp, radiating pain from my scalp down across my eyebrow and upper cheek. I'm still dealing with dry eyes, persistent tightness in my forehead, and discomfort that intensifies during movement. Dr. Vrcek didn't examine me in person before surgery, despite the visit note submitted to insurance stating otherwise. On the morning of my surgery, I was very nervous and made a mistake. When being checked in, I was asked to confirm the procedures I was having, and I listed them exactly as known to me. When reviewing the paperwork, bilateral ectropion repair and bilateral festoon elevation had been added, while fat repositioning and the chemical peel were omitted. I want to make it clear there are patients who are happy with Dr. Vrcek's work, but my experience has been very different. I also want to emphasize that I never expected perfection. I simply wanted to look like myself, only refreshed. Having trouble loading photos and will keep trying. Meanwhile some are posted in my Google review.

Dr. Vrcek was incredible during the process of reducing the hooding of my upper eyelids. The surgery was quick with little pain and recovery was smooth with minimal discomfort. And to be honest, I didn't even feel any pain. If I ever need to do it again, I would 100% go back to him. If you are considering eye surgery, I recommend you call Dr. Vrcek. From the consultation to post-op my experience was outstanding. He listened to my questions and concerns and thoroughly answered them. He offered a detailed explanation of the procedure and recovery. He even answered questions I didn't know I had! After the procedure, he called to check on me. When I emailed him with questions, he promptly answered me. His staff was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, personable and helpful. I can't recommend Dr. Vrcek enough! If you are even considering eye surgery, go to a consultation to visit with him. I've been wanting a lower blepharoplasty for (genetic) eye bags for years and did my research to find the right surgeon. I made the decision that I would only trust a board certified oculoplastic surgeon since the eyes are delicate and one of the most noticeable facial features. That's how I found Dr. Vrcek. I felt comfortable since the consultation where he explained in detail what to expect. Dr. Vrcek and his whole team are personable (his surgery coordinator is so wonderful). My surgery was at Baylor Surgicare and it was smooth with about 5-7 days recovery time. I recently had my post op appointment (13 days after surgery) and I feel great and look so much better. I found Dr. Vrcek in Google search and based on all the positive reviews, decided to give it a try, however I was still hesitating and very stressed about my choice. I need to say that the whole process from the initial consultation to scheduling a surgery and then the surgery went unbelievably smooth. I am 66 years old and my very droopy eyelids made me look tired and aged. Dr.Vrcek recommended upper eyelids blepharoplasty and ptosis repair. Surgery went great. Dr. Vrcek personally called me after surgery to check on me. Recovery also was easy. For few days I had a blurry vision, some swelling, pain was minimal. But the result is absolutely FANTASTIC! I had a blocked tear duct. My right eye would overflow with tears. My eye doctor sent me to Dr Vrcek, saying that he was the best in our area. Dr Vrcek was quick to diagnose and advise what was needed. He performed the surgery to insert a stent. Dr Vrcek responded within minutes of each email I sent with questions. First of all, I want to ensure that I give all the necesseary acknowledgements for what I enjoyed about Dr. Vrcek. 1. Very accessible as he gave out his personal email and let me contact him anytime. 2. Very responsive as I would get responses instantaneously. 3. Very accommodating and took the time out to try and correct any issues I was having. 4. Good bedside manners. For all of these reasons, I can see why he was given amazing ratings (which is why I picked him in the first place). They were all based on his personality and responsiveness as opposed to his work. In turn, I chose to fly all the way to Dallas from Maryland. However I am extremely frustrated for numerous reasons... Prior to the procedure: 1. Prior to the procedure, neither him, nor anyone on his staff gave me a thorough pre-op consultation. At all of my previous Surgical Offices, I always had a nurse conducting a full, in-depth pre-surgical routine where they told me what to expect and what to bring (i.e. ice pack, tear drops, etc.). Instead, I was not told to bring anything and I felt the office literally just rushed me to sign consent forms. They did order me some anti-biotics in their store. 2. Next, Dr. Vrcek kept telling me about all the experience that he had and said that he even won an award for the procedure that he was about to conduct. 3. Lastly, Dr. Vrcek told me in an email that I would be able to fly home THE VERY NEXT DAY which was absolutely NOT THE CASE and I ended up having to reschedule my flight and book another Air BNB which I will get to shortly. During the procedure: 1. I have had ptosis surgery done before for my other eye and I literally felt no pain. My previous surgeon placed a liquid numbing agent on my eye before he inserted the needle and I felt nothing during the procedure. Dr. Vrcek, however, simply just poked me with the numbing needle which was very painful. Then, while he was operating, I felt everything from the clamp to him maneuvering the stiches one by one. 2. Lastly, he did not even have a surgical tech in the room with him to assist. That completely threw me off as every single surgeon I know had someone in the room with them to almost serve as a system of checks and balances. Also, all his assistants at the desk in my opinion seemed to be uncomfortable around him. After the procedure: 1. Then, after the procedure, he did not even provide me with artificial eye tears or a protective contact when every video I have seen on youtube and all the research that I have conducted universally agree that a protective contact is normally placed in the eye. As a result of this, I experienced extreme pain and nonstop tearing. 2. Then, yes, Dr. Vrcek made himself available by meeting me in the evening which I give him credit for. He met me for the pain I was experiencing. However, he also noticed that the stitches fell out the SAME DAY (this made me wonder if he tightened them securely) and initially, he seemed to me completely BAFFLED in the moment as he said, "where are the sutures. Oh no, that's not good" as if he never saw this happen. Shortly after when he noticed that I NOTICED his reaction, he changed his facial expression and tried to put on a façade of confidence and kept giving me false hope that my eye lid would get better. When I saw what I perceived as him as looking shocked, I felt that this seemed to contradict all the prior experience that he claimed he had. Also, that night when he met me in his office, all he did was PUT A GAUZE PAD ON MY EYE AND TAPE IT LIKE AN AMATURE. I could have done this myself. It completely wasted an uber ride and 15 bucks. He made it sound as if he was going to do something hi-tech. 3. Then, the pain was still so unbearable that I had to reschedule my flight and get another Air BNB. Instead of giving me a refund, he only provided me with a protective contact which helped the pain go away. And yes, I am happy that he extended himself but I wondered why he didn't he just think of the protective contact at the beginning when I was complaining about the pain. AND BY THE WAY, DR. VRCEK TELLING ME THAT I COULD FLY HOME THE NEXT DAY AFTER THE PROCEDURE WAS THE MOST DISTURBING AS I FEEL THAT HE PUT ME AT RISK FOR A POSSIBLE CAR ACCIDENT SINCE THE PAIN WAS UNBEARABLE AND I COULD NOT OPEN MY EYE WITHOUT THE CONTACT. Weeks after the Surgery: 1. Then he kept telling me EVERYTIME I would check in with him that he is "VERY CONFIDENT" that the eye would raise after the third month and to CALL HIM IF IT DOES NOT as if he had some "GRAND PLAN" on what to do if they eye does not raise. However, now I am at the 3 month mark and my eye is slightly MORE DROOPIER than it was when I went over there. This was a waste of 2000 dollars, a waste of a flight, a flight change and another Air BNB. All he said was that he could give me a revision (So this was his grand plan) 2. Also, my vision now in my right eye is blurry. I paid for PRK surgery back in Feb 2021 and now my read more

What an amazing experience for a person like me with a truly serious anxiety disorder, when it comes to Needles he made me feel completely heard and understood . The surgery center was aware before my surgery and accommodated me beautifully. Dr, Vrcek has a incredibly calm and very organized way he treats his patience and you can feel that in his detail orientated approach to your care . I have never felt this level of trust with a doctor and I'm beyond appreciative that my optometrist referred him to me he was worth the wait. He is also a doctor you can email with questions or request and he will literally email you back the same day . My surgery was a success on every level and that's saying a lot these days. I saw Dr Vrcek for evaluation of eyelid problems affecting my vision. He was punctual and very thorough in his evaluation and recommended surgery. Dr. Vrcek's explanations were easy to understand and very thorough. I had the surgery 26 January. The surgery time was moved ahead that morning, a pleasant surprise as usually there are delays. Pre operative and post operative instructions were easy to understand and thorough. There was no feeling of being rushed. Surgery went well and recovery was uneventful. The results are amazing and unless I reveal I had the surgery it is undetectable which is very nice. The follow up appointment was not rushed and any follow up questions were answered completely. Over all an A ++ experience. I happily will refer others to Dr Vrcek for any oculoplastic surgery needed. read more

HORRIBLE SCARRING. Run far away from this doctor he does not take the time and care for such a delicate area. My scars are horrendous and I can't go anywhere without putting a lot of makeup on it and even then they are noticeable. Seems like all he wants is money since he did not even care after the deed was done! Run is all I have to say and find an actual PLASTIC surgeon not one who is only cosmetic. read more

Dr. Vrcek did a wonderful job on my lower blepharoplasty! I love that I look restful now. He made the process feel seamless, and he was attentive to detail. He is also very kind. His nurses at the hospital praised him, which made me feel at ease. I did a lot of research prior and met with a couple of doctors. I probably looked at every image on their Instagram accounts. If there is anyone who can confidently declare someone the best in Oculoplastics, it would have to be me. Before coming to Dr. Vrcek, I had seen 18 Oculoplastic Surgeons in 10 months. These surgeons included some of the biggest names in Beverly Hills, as well as a few at some of the most highly respected academic hospitals. Very few of them spent much time with me and none wanted to take on my unusual and challenging case. To say I was feeling helpless at that point is an understatement. Finding Dr. Vrcek was one of the greatest blessings I have known in my life. The moment I called his office and spoke to Kelly (who is one of the best people you will ever meet), I knew I was in good, caring hands. Kelly answered just before they closed on a Friday. She was so unbelievably kind and patient, and asked me to explain my situation thoroughly. She gave me all the time I needed, when she could have easily ignored the call or asked me to call back later. Kelly eagerly took my case to Dr. Vrcek who was kind enough to e-mail me with what he believed was the proper diagnosis. Within a matter of weeks I met with Dr. Vrcek. You could not ask for a better doctor. He is absolutely brilliant, and shows confidence without the slightest hint of arrogance. He is also a pretty funny guy, which helped put me at ease. At my consultation he viewed my MRI in front of me (something that several other doctor's brushed off and didn't even care to look at) and he carefully explained to me what his findings were, and explained how they confirmed his suspicions. My case was extremely complex. Every night when I fell asleep, my eye would come open and dry out. This not only caused significant pain from the dryness, but also caused SPK, where my cornea was suffering, and could have endured permanent damage. I had to tape my eye shut every night, and even that would not keep it shut 100% of the way. Sleep was miserable and every day I had to apply countless eye drops in hopes of getting a little relief. I would also constantly have eyelashes in my eyes, as the tape began to make them grow downward, causing some to actually curl into my eye. Dr. Vrcek carefully listened to me describe my situation. He was extremely caring and sympathetic, and he determined that my issue was caused by scar tissue from a previous injury that caused my levator palpebrae and aponeurosis to become tethered to the orbital rim and septum. This tethering would pull my eyelid open once my muscles relaxed when I fell asleep. Within a weeks of consulting with Dr. Vrcek, I had my surgery. The day of surgery, he met with me prior, put me at ease, and went over his game-plan with me once again. The surgery went as planned, with Dr. V releasing the scar tissue between my aponeurosis and orbital septum. Dr. V met with me and my father after the surgery to explain everything he did. The day after surgery, Dr. Vrcek personally called me to make sure I was doing ok and let me know that he was there for me if I needed anything at all. I am still in the healing process but my eye is already closing 90% better, and continues to improve as the swelling subsides. I have not had to use tape since surgery and have not had any dryness. Dr. Vrcek is truly the Michael Jordan of Oculoplastics, and as great of a doctor as he is, he is an even better person. I will never be able to thank Dr. Vrcek or Kelly enough for what they have done for me. They gave me back hope and peace, when everyone else brushed me to the side and downplayed my situation and the suffering that came with it. I hope that I will never need another oculoplastic procedure in the future, but if I ever do, I would fly half-way around the world to see Dr. V if that was where he was located. There is no one better and no one more caring. After all I have been through, it is nice to see that there are doctors out there who are looking to help those that feel helpless and who want to take on the challenging cases instead of brush them off or pass them on to someone else. The man truly is a hero in every sense of the word. read more

I am very pleased and could not be happier with the results of my upper and lower blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Vrcek. No more dark circles and bags under my eyes. My eyes look younger, brighter and more awake. Reasons I selected Dr. Vrcek to perform my procedure was that he only performs procedures on eyes and sees eyes every day along with referrals from patients. Dr. Vrcek is AMAZING!!!!!! My eyelids were difficult with muscle reconstruction that needed to be done. It's been 2 weeks and my eyes look amazing. I can't help but write this review. I went into his office snd front desk girl was extremely rude, not only to me but others in the waiting room. I was called in to see Dr. Vrcek and was in his room less than 5 minutes and said here's some before and after and that was that. He said to go ahead and schedule the surgery. I went ahead and called and scheduled it. I called the billing department 3 to 4 times to ask where to send my $7,000 dollar check and never ever got a reply. I immediately cancelled my surgery. I went to UT Southwestern where my doctors all are and went to an amazing doctor that spent over an hour with me. They took my eye pressures. Took pictures of my eyes. Had to do some tests on my upper eye lids to see if I need my upper eyes some and I did. Also was told my insurance would cover that.. never was told that by Vrcek. Two doctors came in and looked closely at my eye lids and my lowers. I scheduled surgery and it was unbelievably professional. Not only did Vrcek gives me meds that my doctor and nurses have never given their patients I was also called by Vrcek's surgery place asking where I was... then he sent me a $25 dollar bill for a picture that was taken of my eyes. Please think twice before going to Vrcek. It's like a cattle call. It was a terrible experience with him... all about money.. not the patient. UT Southwestern is so wonderful. Please think twice! I found myself with a few weeks between jobs and decided to go ahead with a much needed eyelid surgery. Dr. Vrcek and his team were so patient with me answering emails at all hours of the day, and scheduled me just two weeks after my initial consultation. The surgery experience itself was much less stressful than I had imagined, everyone were so sweet and caring.I was surprised that the actual surgery was pain free and recovery just a week. After 9 days I was at a party with my husbands company and I started my new job after only 3 weeks and no one can tell I even had it done. I had to have surgery for a facial injury I sustained during a fall and I was referred to Dr. Vreck. I have never had major surgery of any kind so I was quite nervous. Dr. Vreck was kind, professional and let me know everything about my injury and what the surgery entailed. I felt completely confident in his ability to perform the surgery flawlessly. The surgery went as planned and the recovery was minimal, Dr. Vreck was available for any questions I had after surgery and was prompt in his response. Dr. Vreck used minimally invasive techniques and sutures so healing was easy and seamless. Colleagues of mine couldn't even tell I had surgery. I later spoke with Yaritza about receiving a full refund, and she said she would need approval from her District Supervisor, Erin Petty. A week went by with no update, so I called back and was informed that I could not get a refund!! I requested Erin's email. I emailed her and several others on November 5, 2025 and I still have not received a response. I've reached out to Yaritza three times since then, and she has not replied either. This company pressures you into getting the procedure, promises results, and then completely fails to deliver. They think it's acceptable to keep your $10,000 without addressing the harm that was caused or the fact that the procedure produced no results at all. I will not rest until this issue is rectified!! I had been researching surgeons and booked consults with three different doctors. Two were referrals and Dr. Schwartz I found on my own. Consultation day was wonderful. Everyone at RS Plastics did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable and confident about booking with Dr. Schwartz. I originally went in requesting a tummy tuck and breast lift/reduction. After about 30 minutes of conversation, Dr. Schwartz had me convinced I could reduce my breast size without a lift to achieve my desired results. I wasn't at all concerned about the scarring, but thought if I could reduce my size to a C with a less invasive surgery that was the way to go. Surgery day came and went and I waited a full 8 months hoping my results would somehow change as I continued to heal. They did not. I am still in the same bra size with more sag than before. My right breast now comes to a rounded point and is noticeably lower than the left. The scarring around my belly button and mid tuck has left me feeling more insecure than ever. I voiced my concerns to Dr. Schwartz and was told if I were to do a lift and reduction in size my breasts would be concave. He also told me since I wanted to avoid scarring I couldn't go any smaller. As I mentioned earlier, I originally went in wanting a lift and had no concerns about scarring. As far as my belly button, he said he had no control over how I healed. His solution was to schedule another procedure for a breast lift, he'd wave the surgeon fee and attempt to comp the implant. Another surgery would cost thousands and I had already invested thousands trusting in the outcome. I left the office feeling angry and disappointed. I have decided not to return to Dr. Schwartz for another procedure. I have consulted with another surgeon who assured me my breasts in no way would be concave. Unfortunately, I'm left with the bellybutton and uneven scarring from my tummy tuck. They will fade over time and I can hopefully reduce the raised scarring. After having three children and saving up for a procedure that was supposed to give me my confidence back, saying I'm disappointed would be a HUGE understatement. I contemplated what to write so many times. I hope this review helps guide other women in their search to find the right surgeon. All I can do is be honest about my experience and allow others to do with it what they will. I will attach photos of my tummy tuck results.

I'm a 61 year-old female, and I noticed bags under my eyes in the last few years as well as upper eyelid droop. I tried creams, skin-tighteners, upper eyelid tapes, etc., and nothing worked, and I needed a more permanent solution. Plus, my daughter's wedding was approaching in about two months, and I wanted to look my best. I researched surgeons in my area, and I selected Dr. Vrcek because of his experience, credentials, and positive reviews. Plus, his website has a plethora of before/after photos which are very impressive. During the consult, Dr. Vrcek listened attentively and addressed all my concerns, putting me at ease. He's very personable and confident in his craft. When my husband and I left, we both had a very good feeling about our choice and needed to look no further. Scheduling was easy, and the day of the surgery went well. The Plano Surgery Center staff was superb. Post-surgery, Dr. Vrcek visited me to see how I was doing, and told me to call, email or text with any concerns prior to the two-week follow up, which I did. He answered right away, and addressed my questions. I was prescribed pain-killers, which I didn't use since recovery was mostly pain-free. Swelling and bruising dissipated in about a month, and by the wedding two months later, the surgery was unnoticeable. I even received a compliment from my brother-in-law that I hadn't changed in 10 years! I'm very pleased I went through the surgery. People notice your eyes first, and they make a huge impression. I've been unhappy with my under-eye hollows for as long as I can remember -- probably starting around 13 or 14 years old. I started seeing lower blephs all over TikTok starting a few years ago, and time and time again, Dr. Vrcek was mentioned as the best in the field. I followed his work for a LONG time before booking a consultation! I flew from LA to Dallas for the procedure and everyone on his team was incredibly accommodating. I loved the hospital where the surgery was performed (I was given options and chose Baylor Surgicare ) -- the nurses, anesthesiologist, and staff were all so helpful and friendly. Dr. Vrcek and his office team (including the wonderful Kelly!) have been incredibly quick to respond to any and all questions, and I had tons. This was my first and only cosmetic surgery and it's way scarier than just going in for Botox, but Dr. Vrcek has such a kind and calming energy and is incredibly experienced and educated in oculoplastic surgery of all kinds. It's wild that now I can actually tell the difference under my eyes when I've had enough rest/water. Before the surgery, I was ALWAYS dark and hollow under my eyes. I do have some days where I feel like I look more hollow, but that's now just a matter of sleep and not what I look like permanently! I have had dark undereye circles my entire life, but they had gotten worse over time with weight fluctuation, pregnancy, etc. Finally decided to pursue a more permanent solution as no amount of makeup was going to disguise them. I spent several months researching various surgeons in the state and ultimately Dr. Vrcek was my top choice. I was impressed with the before and after pictures of his previous patients as well as the apparent lack of dissatisfied patients. A big turn off from several other providers was patients reporting poor communication, especially when they had post op concerns but all the reviews about Dr. Vrcek and his staff let me know that would not be an issue here. I ended up driving 5 hours to Dr. Vrcek, who completed a bilateral lower blepharoplasty. I am so happy with the results! Kelly, Dr. Vrcek's surgical coordinator, was very sweet and made sure the entire process was smooth. Both Dr. Vrcek and Kelly are easy to get ahold of via email or phone should questions or concerns arise. Dr. Vrcek took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I was comfortable with the procedure. Post-op care was thoroughly explained to me by both Dr. Vrcek and the nurses. They utilize telemedicine for consults and post-op follow ups which was very convenient with being so far away. Highly recommend this surgeon and his awesome staff! read more

I'm 67. I had sagging eyelids and bagging undereyes. My sight was impaired. My opthalmologist reccommended Dr. Vrcek. I'm so glad he did. I saw Dr. Vrcek at his Fort Worth office and had surgery in Fort Worth . I had the surgery in November 2025. After a couple of weeks of healing, one of my friends commented on how "rested" I looked. When I went back for my follow-up appointment, I recounted that story. Dr. Vrcek fist bumped me in celebration That was the kind of result we were looking for - natural. My results are excelllent. I am a 66 year old who had a problem with my eyelids for years. I eyes always appeared small and made me look sleepy or like I had allergy eye. My eyelids felt heavy. I also always felt tired and lethargic regardless of how much I exercised or ate healthy. Finally I realized that when I opened my eyes wide my energy would increase. Although I mentioned this to my ophthalmologist and optometrist, I never received a diagnosis of the problem. It wasn't until I went to Dr Vrcek, that he told me the muscles in my eyelids were not functioning properly. I also had extremely big bags under my eyes. Avoid Dr. Vrcek at all costs. My experience with him was a nightmare. Despite my specific concerns about dark circles and lines, he pushed an unnecessary and botched lower blepharoplasty with an under-eye chemical peel and festoon elevation, showcasing extreme cases as expected results. Post-surgery, one eye was glaringly smaller, and despite my immediate concern, he dismissed it with false promises of symmetrical healing. Six months later, I'm left with asymmetry, dark circles, and lines. His solution? Botox every three months and hydroquinone, which only adds insult to injury. The $8000 wasted on this disastrous procedure is bad enough, but his refusal to refund is outrageous. Dr. Vrcek is not just a terrible surgeon; he's an unpleasant person. I am 36 years old and since a teen had always struggled with bags under my eyes. I also started to get extra skin above my eyes and had very hooded eyes that I was insecure about. I did a lot of research and found Dr. Vrcek to be one of the best! I love that he uses a less invasive technique and that I would not have to be fully under anesthesia. I did upper & lower bleph, fat repositioning w/ a skin pinch & chemical peel. I flew in from Wisconsin the day before surgery and was able to fly home the day after surgery. My recovery was easy, no pain, and no bruising! His whole team is amazing, kind, educated, just a full on great experience through and through. A few weeks after the surgery I woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and caught myself by surprise. I said "Oh my gosh, I look so beautiful!" The swelling had gone down, the healing was done and I looked fabulous. It is a wonderful feeling to have eyes that sparked with no bags below. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vrcek. He is so kind, excellent bed-side manner, and does amazing work. My results are better than I could have imagined and I look very natural. The staff is also thoughtful and kind. Lots of thoughtful follow up to make sure I was doing well before and after the surgery. I met with Dr. Vrcek in October to inquire about eyelid surgery. He had done my brothers eyelids two years prior and had done an excellent job. After meeting with Dr. Vrcek I scheduled an eye lid and eyebrow lift procedure which I had done in Novemeber. I was referred to Dr Vrcek by my optometrist for a upper and lower blepharoplasty. During my consultation, he explained everything in detail. He was patient, courteous and honest. Over the next several months, he made himself available on FaceTime and via email for all of my questions and follow-ups. I have never had a doctor who made themselves so available to patients - his communication is unmatched. I thought the cost of the procedure was reasonable and it was very clear Dr. Vrcek does this because he wants to help people. I underwent the procedure and am incredibly happy with my results.
