I was told it "should be covered by insurance" and that I'd only pay the difference, so I agreed to move forward. At checkout, I paid $350 and was told I'd be reimbursed after insurance was billed. Later, I found out my insurance didn't cover it at all. My concern wasn't that insurance denied the claim, it was that I was led to believe my coverage had been verified. Had I known I would likely be responsible for the full cost, I would have waited until I was financially ready. I asked if they could offer a discount given the misinformation, but after more than two months of trying to reach the manager, I was told there was nothing they could do because I had received the service. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability and willingness to address my concerns. I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment and won't be returning. I would recommend confirming that your insurance has actually been verified before agreeing to any treatment that could leave you paying out of pocket.

In desperation, I started researching emergency dentists near me, and Moshe Eizdi DDS A.K.A Dr. Mo popped up with amazing reviews. Now I understand why. From the moment I walked in, his entire staff was warm, upbeat, and extremely caring. They went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comforted... something I truly needed because I was a complete emotional mess walking in. Dr. Mo himself is absolutely incredible. He's thorough, explains everything clearly, and has the best sense of humor. He somehow had me laughing during a painful emergency visit! He reviewed my 360° X-ray, explained all possible treatment options, and discovered that I needed an emergency root canal. He immediately performed a partial root canal to stop the pain and even gave me breaks the entire way through. Because keeping your mouth open for a very long time is exhausting... When I called that doctor (Dr Yaghoubi), he provided reassurance over the phone that my daughter was likely fine but that I could come into any of his dental offices (Children's Dental FunZone - Pico) and that they would see us right away. True to his word, we were seen within 2 minutes of completing their forms. Dr Shamsian did our exam. He was quick and efficient and put my mind at ease.
