He has always taken plenty of time with me and really listens and seems to care about helping me with the issues I've had. I am an athlete involved in sports, and I had IV treatments at the office and the results were amazing! What a passionate doctor! So dedicated to helping people. Also, the Whole Family Healthcare office was always bright, cheery, and super clean. It also smells really nice (aromatherapy). The whole place gives me a good, happy feeling! My husband also sees Dr. Douglas (we almost never go together due to work schedules) and my husband has similar experiences. The staff here is great and the office runs efficiently. Dr. Douglas runs on time. I've never had a wait. My husband is typically a difficult stick. The phlebotomist here is awesome and always gets him on the first time. Dr. Douglas is kind and takes a real interest in you, not just as a patient but as a person. Dr. Douglas is a huge dog lover and has photos of his dogs in the exam rooms. It's a nice touch so that the office feels less sterile and more welcoming. It's also nice to get a glimpse into his hobbies/ outside interests. That way you see him not just as your doctor but as a human. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Douglas. He is a wonderful PCP. You want someone who takes the time to listen and gets to know you as a person. The location is convenient for me but even if I lived a little further away, I'd drive the extra distance for a good doctor.

She is paranoid many medications are scheduled 1 narcotics. (She considers Lidoderm 5% transdermal patches a controlled narcotic, they have never been a controlled medication ). If you want a doctor who draws blood in her office and will write you a referral to any specialist in town then she would be a great fit. If you want a doctor who cares and wants to treat patient and symptoms find a diff doctor.

5 Stars for friendly staff, a great location, and a doctor with a good bedside manner…read more I was looking for a new GP and thought of Dr. Perez because 1) His office is in my 'hood, and 2) People with the last name Perez are naturally brilliant (I'm not biased at all). I love the fact that his office is in a neighborhood, on a residential street. It feels like a remanent of another era. An era where there were neighborhood doctors who knew you and your family and were only a call away. Being a mid-eighties baby, I'm assuming this era existed. Either way, it feels good pulling up to a neighborhood office. I called to make my initial new patient appointment and was really shocked to hear that they could fit me in two days from that time. Every other doctor's office I had called couldn't take me until three weeks from now (minimum). George made sure to remind me that they only take cash or check (no credit cards), but my copay should be fairly low given my insurance. Was it a little odd that they don't take CC? Yeah. Did it matter when they could get me in so quickly? NOPE! The lobby is nice and neat and has a TV (HGTV for the win!) and the paperwork was straightforward. George, who initially took my call, showed me to the room and we chatted for a while (everyone in Orlando knows everyone!). It was an extra touch of friendliness that made me smile and made the time pass more quickly. The doctor arrived and was very pleasant and efficient- but not in a way that felt rushed. By the end of the appointment I asked about his background and we talked about regions in Spain worth visiting. Again, friendliness goes a long way! Overall, a great visit and I am SUPER glad to have a new doctor nearby (versus the 30 minute trek I used to make).

Recently, my husband went into the office VERY sick and Dr. Perez immediately examined him and determined he had a major lung infection and sent him directly to the Hospital... where he spent 12 days!! Dr. Perez is extremely good with his patients and remembers you and your family! And the great part is he talks to all patients at their level so you can understand what he is explaining to you and how you need to handle the current illness you are experiencing !!! Dr shukla is quick to respond to messages and phone calls. His office does a good job as well. I have been seen for routine visits as well as walk in visits/sick visits. Of course there is always a bit of waiting, like any doctors office, but I never find it to be excessive. His office uses a platform where I can access my lab results, orders, and office notes. I can also message the office and the doctor from that platform. It's very useful. Dr shukla is professional and a good listener. He always goes above and beyond to help me. He also has a list of recommendations if you need a specialist etc. the office also offers cosmetic procedures, which I have not tried yet. And although he has hosted some gatherings to go over those new procedures, I have not attended yet. His website has a lot of detail as well, for those of you looking to improve your appearance. i would recommend him and his office.
