Junior was professional, knowledgeable detail oriented and patient. He took his time to explain each step of the process from the extensive prep work to actual painting. Junior also works with a carpenter who replaced a few pieces of fascia boards which were dry rotted on my roof. The carpenter was efficient and did a great job. Junior's Team arrived on time every morning and worked efficiently in preparing my house for priming / painting by carefully masking my windows, patio doors, exterior lighting, etc. before power washing my house. To my surprise, the Team even power washed the pavers around my house which was above and beyond! The Team primed then painted my house with my color palette to detail and perfection which came out amazing! They even helped me install my street numbers and mailbox and did an outstanding job cleaning up at the end. During the entire process, I never felt rushed and received a fair price for the project. I'm so pleased that I chose Mendez Professional Painting for painting my house and would highly recommend then to all my friends and family. Thank you Junior and your Team for an amazing job!

He is professional, detail-oriented, and has a great sense of humor. The quote comprehensive and easy to understand, and there were no surprises at any point during the process. The team arrived on time every morning. Their work is meticulous from start to finish. They began by masking off all the surfaces that would not be painted with paper and plastic protection. They took great care of our furniture, moving and covering it carefully. They patched all the cracks and imperfections in our drywall to create a perfectly smooth surface. Then it was time to prime and paint. Our team was highly efficient--I was surprised by how quickly they were able to complete the job without cutting corners or otherwise sacrificing quality. We ended up not liking one of the colors we had chosen, and Junior was able to get the team back the next day to re-paint that room. The finished walls are beautiful. Junior and team did excellent work and we will absolutely be hiring them again!

When they encountered dry rot (and it was unfortunately widespread--out here in the Ingleside, we have to paint more frequently), they pointed it out, including up on the roof, updated the invoice, and fixed it. The place looks immeasurably better and is in much better shape. Rafael was great at communicating throughout and flexible, taking the time needed to get the work done right; he worked to ensure that the crew were neat; and when the crew missed something, he followed up to ensure it was fixed. He even threw in some caulking where it was needed around the kitchen sink. The job wasn't cheap, but the price was fair. I would definitely hire Rafael and the crew again.

He gave us appropriate updates on the project from start to finish. This experience was so different from other contractors we worked with in the past. They repaired all areas of dry rot and sealed the windows and I am sure the work will last for many years. His team was polite and respectful of the tenants. He was the only one to take such a small drywall job so I always wanted to find a bigger job that he might have time for. Fast forward and now I need my new home painted. So of course I reach out to Jossie and he responds right away and comes out to give me a quote. While he's working on his quote I mention that I need help with my yard since I injured my back. Jossie had a drywall guy, so of course he has an awesome landscaper that I also hired. As far as the actual painting goes, he went way above and beyond. I liked the idea of having all my walls be like 7 different colors that met at the corners. That is really, really annoying to do, but Jossie just complemented the colors we picked. I got so bold as to add another color and before he knew we were of course going to pay more, all he asked was for an extra paint roller. It's amazing how clean all the lines are and how even all the paint is. He's a perfectionist that still wasn't totally satisfied with the amazing job he did for us. Long review but worth it. One last thing- Jossie is a "guy that knows a guy". It is very rare to find someone that does quality work that also networks with other skilled trades people. As a homeowner or renter, you'll be lucky to find a guy that knows a guy like Jossie.
