I have 4 cars, a quad and 2 motorcycles, About 3 years ago I was repairing my carburetor on one of my moto's and as I torquing the last screw to the specs given to me from the manual, the torque sheared the head off and 1/2 the body of the screw was stuck inside the casing of the carb, no shop around me wanted anything to do with it, I found Ivan's Machine shop on Mission in Jurupa Valley, and within 20 minutes I was handed back my carb with the broken off screw removed and no thread problem's with newer updated screws. They only charged me $20, for me it was worth much more!! I have heard of machine shops charging 5x's more for this type of situation!! A couple days ago I was working on a Suzuki DR-650, doing a clutch replacement and NSU upgrade/fix, according to the manual from Suzuki it say's to torque the clutch basket spring holding plate to 7 pounds, my trustworthy torque wrench broke a bolt at less than 6 pounds, snapped the head right off!! What a nightmare. I was closing this job up and was basically within minutes of finishing the job when that bolt broke off inside the case of the engine!! I had no hope of getting it out!! I then remembered Ivan's Machine shop and so I handed it over to him and within 15-20 minutes he came back with the clutch plate and he removed the broken bolt and gave me new bolts and washers for $20!! I've know Salvador for well over 10 years. He has always been a stand up guy, and NEVER have I EVER had issues with him. I met him when he used to work for another mechanic shop in Moreno Valley, and we hit it off since then. Fast forward to 10 years later.... I was living in Las Vegas, from Aug 2017 to April 2018, and when I was over there, my 2007 Chevy Suburban, decided to take a sh*t....the motor needed to be rebuilt. I took it to a local mechanic over there who "rebuilt" my motor, it took him over a month!! When I finally got my truck back, it started making this knocking sound, So I took it back to the "local mechanic" another 2 weeks and it was "fixed".... Fast forward to July 2018, my truck started knocking again....I called Salvador and asked him to please take a look at it....Turns out, the lifters in 6 and 8, had dried up and were making all the noise...he had to remove the motor, to replace them, So I told him to have at it... He called me 2 days later to inform me, THAT I HAD GOTTEN TAKEN FOR A RIDE!! All the parts in my motor, were factory OEM parts, the other mechanic had only "changed out the parts necessary" to essentially "band aid" the situation and make it seem like he had rebuilt my motor....I was PISSED!!! He asked me to stop by and take a look at the old parts he removed, and sure enough, they were all the original parts!!! I asked him to quote me on rebuilding her again, and his price was not far off, from what I had originally paid the other mechanic.....I told him to do it!! 2 weeks later, he calls and says that the truck is in completion stages, that he just needed to drive her around and I could pick her up today...I am soooo excited!! Finally get to drive my truck around without having to worry about it... Overall, he did a good job, time frame was adequate, price was competitive...I'm Happy!! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY , DONT BRING YOUR CAR. He will not fix it. You'll just get your car worse than it came in. Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this shop. Not only did I pay upfront I later was told my car wouldn't be ready that week. I had to wait 3 weeks for my car to be ready. I had to be the one to reach out to him and ask about the status of my car. It was rushed work and my car has now broke down again. Only drove my car for 3 days before it took a SHIT AGAIN. The communication with the owner is horrible and all I get are excuses when I do get through to him. DO NOT LET HIM SWEET TALK YOU LIKE HE DID ME. Update: I took my car back to him after it breaking down . Got my car yesterday around 3pm after bringing it back for the 2nd time and spending $2,550. Fuckin car breaks down at 8pm after just driving it for 10 mins. Right away I text the mechanic and he leaves me on read. Still hasn't called me back. Dude needs to change professions. He doesn't give a fuck about his customers. He's just good at sweet talking you and taking your money. Please don't come here, TRUST. read more

Brought my car to get fixed "sal" the owner is a very sneaky man had to go back twice to fix the same problem. Still didn't fix the issue, I'm having.. called "sal" to try and resolve the issue NEVER picked up the phone. Has his kids working there, the kids don't know anything about fixing cars!! they don't have a license to fix cars, very unhappy with this place.. will Never go back.. if anyone has time to look up this shop you will find more bad reviews on them.. you have been warned... good luck .. I brought my truck here to get fixed I got a overhaul done and return my truck weeks after they had given me a time frame 2 months later I get my truck back his work was good that's why I give it a 1 star truck started to act up took it back before warranty was over he tried to fix the problem on my truck it took him 5 months to finish my truck that to me was not professional at all the problem was not the overhaul he did it ended being a valve cover. I took a 6.ol engine from a 2004 chevy silverado to get the long block rebuilt. Dropped it off to the owner named ivan, there were no issues when I dropped a fully dressed block off along with 3200 dollars. 1 week later ivan called me and said the rebuild is done, I went to his shop and block wasn't fully dressed, he broke numerous sensors and alot of bolts and nuts were missing that I had to replace, I installed engine in truck and found the same problem as before which was low oil pressure!!!!!!! I had to remove engine again to take it to ivan. I got to the shop and Ivan's son was very rude to me and then said to me my dad will be back in 40 minutes he's on lunch, I saw that little weasel ivan rummaging around in the back not even taking care of our situation. I finally talk to ivan the owner and argued with him. This machine shop is not a good shop to take your vehicle to. Ivan is a crook. Ivan's shop is a disaster and he does not handle customers well. I took my car here about two months ago to get a full engine rebuild but they messed my engine up so I took it back a month ago to fix it and now they keep telling me it's gonna be done but I call and they say it's gonna be done next week and it's already been 3 weeks and it's still not done they said they just needed to put the valve cover bolts back on and that was last Thursday and there customer service is really horrible and also have a bad attitude so I recommend NO ONE to go here just trying to help you guys out by saving money, time, and stress but yea do not go here. DO NOT COME HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED!!!!!!! I brought my car to get the engine rebuilt because of a overheating problem and it took them several weeks to try and fix it. They said it would be done soon but took much longer than originally quoted. When it was finally "fixed" I drove it for less than an hour out of the shop and it started overheating again. When I took it to the shop again they said the warranty was void because it overheated. Now I understand but when you pay $2700 to get your engine repaired and it messes up within 1 hour I believe I am entitled to them fully repairing it regardless of a warranty because that was the whole point why I took it to them. So I lost $2700 in less than a day. Do not bring your car here for your repairs!! The owners did not try and help at all and said they would not do any further repairs. It was very stressful and they did not try and come up with a solution or even meet me halfway. read more
