Earlier this week, I felt sick and was actually unable to drive more than a few miles or go to work because I hurt my body by not drinking enough water and just wearing myself out! I literally didn't take the girls to school Wednesday because I felt too sick to make the trip! So, as stupid as it seems, I made an appointment at this place near my house to get IV hydration today. I'm so excited to tell you about this, and I hope you don't think I'm being crazy right now! There is a lady, who is a nurse practitioner at women's center at Hughley hospital, 12 years at MCA before that. During Covid, she realized how many people were actually getting sick and not able to recover because they weren't getting enough nutrients or enough hydration or enough of what they need from their food and drink intake. She opened this place, complete health at Green Oaks, one year ago! You just come in, take your vitals, and then you sit in one of those really fancy massage chairs like they used to have at the Brookstone store at the mall. Do you watch TV for 15 to 30 minutes while you get an IV and then you leave. All of the IVs are a bag of Celine, and then you can choose what you add into it. There's one for energy, there's one for vitality, there's one for hydration, there's one for mood elevation... I think she has 10 or 12 different ones available. So you get a massage, you get to relax and watch TV, you get hydrated, and you leave feeling so much better! This is better than getting a pedicure, I feel like it's better for my body than getting an actual massage, just incredible! She does take Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, but they only pay for certain things. If you're paying out-of-pocket, it's $150-$200, depending on what you're getting. You can come just one time and give it a try and never go back, or you can do it once a month if you're trying to achieve some kind of a goal, like weight loss or if you are trying to increase your vitamin B12 to help with depression or anxiety (I'm planning to do that!) Please know that she did not ask me to do this, I do not stand to gain from this financially, and I really just thought it was so incredible. I want to tell people about this because I want to see people feel better and I want for all of us to take better care of our bodies to prevent getting sick instead of treating sicknesses that happen because we don't take care of ourselves! Really, whether you go in just for the heck of it now, or if you remember this the next time you start feeling sick or rundown, or if you remember to tell someone else about it when they tell you that they are having a hard time recovering from a sickness, please remember this! I did not want to have to have a confrontation with strangers about masks but because the nurse did not, I did. I first asked very nicely, "hey would you guys mind please wearing masks?" And of course the answer was no. And as I insisted it was state law etc, the nurse said nothing. Then, the man was loud and yelling at me. I asked her if they were allowed in there without masks and she then finally said no they were required to Wear masks. And then they did. I imagine there are lots of people who go there who have health conditions and the last thing they need is to have to have a confrontation with strangers when they are just trying to get well or stay well. Of all places that should be concerned about protecting the health of their customers, I would think this would be one of them. I understand that the nurse also probably did not want to deal with a confrontation but when I made my very simple first request, she should have immediately jumped in to ask for their compliance.

She really takes the time to go over your past results to make sure you get what you need. All of the staff are friendly and professional. I originally found them through a Groupon. You can usually use one Groupon every 90 days but make sure to read the fine print before purchasing to determine if it meets your needs. Services bought through Groupon don't earn you rewards points through programs like ASPIRE Rewards, so you may do better overall buying directly from them - I highly recommend signing up for email and text alerts so you get notified of their flash sales.

Absolutely WORST experience I've ever had at a med spa! If you don't mind being treated like just a…read morenumber and throwing your money at them, then sure, give them a shot. I will never give them another dime! Here's why: 1. I scheduled a consultation about 3 weeks ago with the "doctor" to discuss what I had been doing (for treatments) at the previous med spa I used to go to in Nashville (prior to moving to TX), what my budgetary considerations were, and what type of results I was striving to obtain (I have been getting mild botox treatments to help with my migraines - certainly not for vanity). I spent a good 20 - 30 minutes with the doctor, who during that time just kept trying to sell me more services - I should have known that this wasn't going to be good. 2. I scheduled my FIRST appointment at that time for today (12/5 at 12pm). I received multiple confirmations from them. I showed up a few minutes early, checked in, and waited...and waited...and waited. It was nearly 30 minutes before I was seen (I had asked the reception desk around 12:15pm how long it was going to be, as I had a call I needed to be on at 1pm. The 2 girls at that desk didn't seem to be overly concerned, nor did they seem to care that I was now being pushed for time.). 3. The doctor tells me that the patient before me showed up late and pushed all appointments back (If someone is over 15 - 30 minutes late they should have to reschedule, not the client that booked an appointment and showed up on time). I was asked to show her which areas I wanted to have treated, which I did. She threw out an dosage amount. I asked what the cost was going to be, and she said between $169 - $179 (I had a $95 credit, so that was going to keep me under my budget, which I was happy about). 4. No numbing solution before she injected me. No discussion about after care or a follow-up appointment to make sure everything is okay in a week or so. No topical after-injection product after the service (which I have always gotten after a treatment with other med spas I've gone to - SPF to protect the injected areas). AND when I went to pay for the service it was $40 more than the price the doctor quoted. Once again, the girls at the reception desk seemed like I was putting them out vs. the other way around. They were talking to each other while I was waiting to get my receipt from them. And, the doctor says "Nice to meet you" and rushes off, as if we didn't have a very detailed conversation prior to my appointment. Not once during this time did any of their staff make me feel like I was a client, nor did they make me want to become a returning client. How deceptive to misquote pricing and then expect you to be happy with it! A bit shady, very unprofessional, and an extremely uncomfortable environment. I will be looking for another facility that will be able to treat my migraine symptoms AND treat me like a person and not just a number.

If anything, she got worse while she was under their care and objected to us removing my mother from the facility when we saw it was necessary. Many of the staff are good at what they do, unfortunately, the two handling my mother's care during her rehabilitation weren't!! Other staff members privately confirmed that they are very short-handed at this facility and nurses don't voluntarily chip in to help the Certified Nurse's Aids (CNAs) when needed! As a matter of fact, very few of the staff volunteer to do anything and give the impression that it is a major inconvenience to assist! Phone calls ring endlessly, patients' "red button" calls go ignored!!! The staff doctor, Dr. Satani, isn't much better if we consider effectiveness. Besides, he goes twice a week and many times... not even that! It's a real mess at this facility although they insist that the change in management last summer has made some major improvement!!! Although complaints were ongoing on our part, the head administrator took no interest in reaching out to us. Thanks to Joanna, Social Administrator, who was the only one who listened and helped us with our situation. If you love your family member, DON'T bring them here! If you have had a good or bad experience, please post them to let future family members know the present condition of this facility. My regret is that I didn't take the bad reviews more seriously. My hopes were that since they were from a few years ago that things had improved... not the case!!! Stay away from here and look for another place!
