She was also very responsive to a few glitches that arose in the complex and timely communication, as well as tweaking needed for last minute adjustments. Laurie is a very competent project manager AND designer, for those reasons! She is a consummate professional. The only observation to recommend improvement: that our kind lead installer take moments to teach his crew about guarding the safety and treatment of more fragile perennials and the final placement of shrubs needing to be plumb/vertical...a sharp eye before accepting the final results of his workers.

Needless to say, over the winter some of our plants appear to have died. Upon looking thru our receipts, we noticed the majority of our dead plants came from Breezy Hill and we see they aren't covered by a warranty. We honestly had better luck with the plants we picked up from Home Depot, Menards, etc. Very disappointing and we don't plan on going back.

Later we fell in love with their store cat, who happened to be a naughty bag-chewer, so we adopted him from them and soon got into doing trap-neuter-return for neighborhood cats and fostering stray cats and feral kittens. They've been amazing for that as well, hooking us up with bulk cat litter at prices and convenience we couldn't even begin to match with a big corporate store. The family that runs the store are amazing people and I would say this one one local business Zion area residents can feel great about supporting.
