talk about a rare find...pulled into North Bend late in the evening, after long drive from Portland. Greeted with love and light by Rick who was so warm and welcoming even though we were late. The room was quiet , clean and just perfect. He and his wife are the best. If you ever end up in North Bend this is the place...can not wait to go back and stay longer read more

This place is as wonderful as the comments. We are just passing through town on a trip down the coast. The hosts were so kind and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They made us reservations at a nice restaurant and pointed us towards the 24 hour growler station right across the street. when we were leaving they gave us some suggestions of what to do on our way to California. I would DEFINITELY stay there again. My husband even bought me a t-shirt! read more

With only five rooms the name is accurate. We loved the charming rooms and Rik the inn keep was a gem we will remember. He made lots of recommendations for eateries and all were good. We even found one for him to try if ever a french dip is on the radar, the Alder House is awesome. Had never been to that area before so it was all a new experience. It's a little noisy with the 101 truck traffic so if you like to sleep with the windows open, consider earplugs, otherwise if the windows are closed it's a beautiful thing. read more

We were delighted with the hospitality! Rick waited for us past midnight, when our drive from BC got delayed. We felt welcome and very comfortable. We really appreciated the vintage decor and the cute touches in the room that made us smile. The fresh ground coffee in the morning was just a cherry on the top! read more

-1 This motel does not honor their reservations. They cancelled our reservation at the last minute.

When I return to North Bend/Coos Bay, my wife and I will return to the Itty Bitty Inn nooooooo doubt. We really appreciated Rik & Donna's warmth and kindness as the best inn keepers in the world. Our room was super comfortable and clean. Our bike ride was relaxing and nice. And I enjoyed some awesome cider out of my Itty Bitty half growler and then bought the growler as a souvenir. I 100% recommend you stay if you are visiting the area!!! read more

Lovely little hotel. Seriously it's so cute. The woman in charge was so nice and friendly and made us feel welcomed. A true difference from the rest of the hotels we've been to on our road trip. If you want to experience the friendliness of Oregon, try this place! read more

I've stayed in hotels great and horrible from Alaska to the Florida Keys, and there's nothing quite like the Itty Bitty Inn out there. Rik was welcoming and friendly (a proper innkeeper) and a thoroughly positive person. The rooms are clean and charming and they've put so much thought into the place. Really an impressive place. Go to North Bend and stay here! Worth the trip. read more

Rik is an old school business owner. It's all about customer service! He first greeted us with a hug and threw down all the good eats in the area. This place fits it's name and it is super clean, comfortable, and quiet. They support local businesses as well. They have small growlers, "growlettes", you can fill your 32 oz across the street. They have many pulls and it was like $5.00. Best of all Atari 2600! Oh and not just one game a collection of classics. If we are ever up here again we will definitely hit up our new friend Rik. Thank you Rik for all of your hospitality. read more

Went on a last minute trip to North Bend. Rik is an amazing host! Very personable and wanting to get to know us and what are needs are. Rooms are quaint and fitting of the 60s era. Great coffee and amazing oatmeal. Will be staying again! read more

How does a person describe heaven? You have to experience it. This is an oasis in north bend, close to the Tiny Tavern and Liberty pub for starters, also a growler you can borrow to fill across the street or keep for a reasonable price!!! Rik, the owner, is a gem, as is the place he and his wife have built. read more

A once in a life time experience! Service you don't find anywhere. The owner is amazing and pours his h heart and soul into the inn, guests, and experience. He makes you feel like family. It's a must stay at place for sure. read more

Rik went out of his way to provide excellent customer service during booking and for my boss' stay. Thank you so much for your kindness and flexibility Rik! Was looking for a reasonable place just for one night. This is an older place that was done over inexpensively but very nicely with a homey feel to it. It was very clean, cute and had a microwave and small refrigerator. This place definitely had personality unlike most motel rooms. for the price it can't be beat so I gave it 5 stars. Not many rooms so call early. read more

This Inn rocks....very clean and comfy. We were greeted warmly and enthusiastically, treated like family and are happy to recommend the Itty Bitty Inn!! read more

Room is meticulously clean. The owner greets and shows you to your room. Very classy. And the local soap and oatmeal are a nice touch (I can't believe you had marrionberry, my favorite). I will be returning any time I'm in the area. Thanks for the awesome experience. I like the tiki room. read more

I can't say enough positive things about our stay. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming. The quarters were clean and comfy. We were close to some unique and fun establishments, a handful of which Rik recommended for us. Some pre-sleep Atari capped things off perfectly. Thank you! We will be back. read more

We arrived at the Itty Bitty Inn on a dark drizzly evening after nearly fleeing another hotel in Coos Bay that actually scared us. We were greeted with a smile and a very reasonable weekly rate, and our room was clean, tidy and smelled good (non-smoking!!). It also had a little kitchen area with a microwave, fridge and little counter. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it. The wifi, cable TV and awesome shower were creature comforts that helped us relax. The owners were sharp, responsible and responsive; we actually got a call one morning asking us if our neighbors were too loud the night before. The worst thing I can say about the place is that it's on a busy highway. read more

We found Itty Bitty Inn on AirBnB for a road trip through the Pacific Northwest and I am so very glad we chose to stay here! The room, while not brand spanking new, was cozy, clean, and comfortable. And, it's right across the street from a market where you can get growlers of local beer (yum)! The best part of our stay was Rik and Donna, the owners. They are so sweet and friendly, and really made our stay feel special. We would love to return to Coos Bay just to stay at Itty Bitty Inn again!! read more

I stayed here for a night while traveling the Oregon coast and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, hospitality, and atmosphere of this little hotel. It was awesome! My boyfriend and I needed a last minute place to sleep during our 10 day road trip. Stumbled upon the reviews for this Inn and luckily there was avail. We spoke to the owner, Rik, for quite some time...he was so friendly and welcoming! The room is very clean, cozy, and charming. Homemade soap and local coffee! Would definitely come back to stay again! read more

My husband, Ed, chose the Itty Bitty Inn on a whim because he knows I prefer smaller inns; and I am so glad he did! Our room was ready when we arrived and smelled so nice when we walked in. There are five rooms for rent and it is true they are a little itty-bitty, but beautiful. They are very clean and well stocked with everything a traveler may need. And if it's not there, just ask. Fridge and microwave are included as well as locally sourced oatmeal, handmade soaps, turbinado sugar, and specially selected coffee and teas. Our host, Rik, was warm, friendly, and assisted us with restaurant selections and activity suggestions. They have bikes available for guest use as well as other amenities to compliment your stay in North Bend. All in all this Itty-Bitty place shows a huge amount of hands on love and care by the owners. Their customer care outshines that found in the bigger chains; and their rate per night was amazing! We will definitely stay here whenever we are in North Bend/Coos Bay! Thank you Rik for a wonderful stay! -Carmen B. read more

Just returned from a week-long vacation, driving up the Oregon coast. Our night at The Itty Bitty Inn was definitely a highlight of our trip! Ric is a tremendous host and we feel like we made a new friend. We got a call on the day of our arrival, asking if we would like him to recommend a place for us to have dinner & an offer to make reservations for us. What?! That is an unexpectedly high level of customer service! From the enthusiastic "Welcome Home" as we walked into the office to the CHARMING touches, our stay was a delight. Loved the growlette, the homemade soap, the attention to detail (especially the coffee bar in our room), the chocolates available for purchase, etc etc. We were big fans of Ric's recommendations of local businesses. We purchased several bags of the excellent locally roasted coffee & a growlette to take home - which makes me smile whenever I spot it in our kitchen :-) Yes, the rooms are "itty bitty" but every effort has been made to make the rooms comfortable, welcoming, and homey. A big thank you to Ric for taking such good care of us on our 30th anniversary trip. We hope to return to the area someday and you can be sure that the Itty Bitty will be a must-stop for us! read more

Awesome place! Rik is a great host and very friendly. We appreciated his recommendations for area restaurants. My husband and I stayed here one night as we headed south down the coast and enjoyed it so much that I stayed a second night on the way back north. Rik went out of his way to make sure everything was just right - from fresh ground coffee, flowers in the room, Oregon made soaps and oatmeal. The rooms are super clean and nicely decorated. Thanks to Rik for creating a special place on the coast that we'll be sure to visit again. read more

This was a total good experience. Want to explore the Oregon coast on a budget? Outside of camping you can't do much better than this. And it's a lot more than just a good price. The owners and staff really care that you have a good experience. Rooms are very clean and each one has a different theme. itty bitty is only the price you will pay at this little known gem located in northbend, just minutes from the oregon coast's largest mall. with a quite and beautiful setting you will enjoy exceptionaly clean rooms with refridgerator, micro wave and cable t.v. it is the most affordable price in the coo's bay area but, reserve in advance because they are big on service but limited on rentals. a 5 star experience never felt so good for so little or itty bitty as they say read more

What a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the owners were the friendliest that I have run across...and I stay at a lot of hotels. We had a most awesome stay at the Itty Bitty. Ric is by far one of the most gracious & accommodating hosts you'll ever cross. We were provided the opportunity to cook up some mean fare in their courtyard, while grazing through their lush garden of tasty vegetables and fruits! The rooms are superbly clean and cozy! Ric knows the area like the back oh his hand. My partner and I intended on hiking during our stay and Ric had some wonderful suggestions. Looking at the outside, you might pass this little motel up. You would be missing out on quite an experience. Yes, it has small rooms but what do you do but sleep any way. It is unique with themed rooms (there are only 5 and only 1 has two beds) and it is CLEAN. The beds are very comfortable. Rik (owner) is a blast to visit with. He will make you feel like you have come home. He is a wealth of information about the area. He also supports other local businesses by using their products in his rooms--I love that he supports his fellow businesses and community. If I ever get back this way, I will stay here again.
