We truly cannot speak highly enough of Smoke & Pickles!…read more Our guests are still talking about "the best wedding food they've ever had" 3 months later, and we can't argue with them. Beyond creating an incredibly bespoke and personal menu for us (with plenty of GF and veggie options!) Sally was instrumental to the process. She helped us book all of our rentals (tent, flatware, plates, tables, etc) and she was always there for advice and to offer suggestions based on her experience. She met with us at PEAK to pick out our tableware, she gave us great suggestions for anything else we needed to rent, coordinated all the setup both on Friday and our actual wedding day, and was so prompt in her replies via email or phone. We could not have pulled it off without her expertise! We would have ended up spending a lot more money overall if we didn't have her guidance. And of course the food was amazing. I loved the fact that it was all local and in-season! Sustainability was very important when picking our vendors, so I appreciated the attention to detail, the composting, and support of local farmers and growers. Plus we got to take home the leftovers! Win/win/win. Lastly, the whole team truly cares about the process. They don't just throw food in pans on the table, but craft such gorgeous tablescapes that look like they fit in perfectly with the rest of the event. Handmade pottery, flowers, cutting boards...its beautiful to look at, AND to eat! If you need a caterer to deliver the BEST food and support your wedding or event - Smoke and Pickles is your team.

Oh, and the food. People are still talking about it ( "those lobster rolls! "That beef!" "Those FISH!") The menu was simple, fresh, and spectacular. And the service was impeccable. In Sally we not only met a caterer but we made a friend.

I have made and bought many clamboils and every individual serving had several potatoes, onions, chourico, sausage, hot dogs and of course clams. When we open the containers with the boil the bags contained one small potato, one tiny onion and a 1" long piece of sausage. You would think for $70/pp CC would have provided a sterling meal but instead decided to provide far less to maximize profit. To be fair there was a fair amount of clams and the lobster was a cull. We also ordered clam chowder and their version which contains celery was not very popular with most the guests resulting in much of it being thrown away. We also ordered a fruit salad that passed muster. Think twice before you hire this guy unless you wish to be greatly disappointed not to mention degrade your affair. The

It was a full sit‑down evening wedding at an outdoor tented venue with multiple menu selections, an abundance of passed hors d'oeuvres, and a beautifully customized menu. They came onsite, were incredibly fun and easy to work with, and every single staff member was friendly, kind, and professional. The food and service were outstanding. We've been waiting for the right opportunity to use them again and finally had the chance in April 2026 for our son's second birthday party, a 90‑person daytime celebration that was a completely different vibe from our wedding. Once again, D&D absolutely nailed it. They were so versatile and thoughtful, fully embracing our Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme while executing a perfect New England cookout. And yes, they even got the split‑top New England buns right for our "Hot Diggity Dog" hot dogs, which did not go unnoticed! Beyond the amazing food (which is always beyond delicious), what truly sets D&D apart is how they treat you. They are professional, accommodating, and take incredible care of their clients and they build real relationships the kind that makes you want to keep coming back for all of our celebrations. We trust them completely, feel heard and cared for every step of the way, and cannot recommend D&D Catering highly enough. From elegant weddings to joyful family celebrations, they do it all and they do it beautifully.

The pulled pork was perfectly smoked and the barbeque sauce paired nicely with the meat. He had several flavors of chicken.
