Now the replacement, which is another branded, came and it lasted only for a month. They took my receipt. They said it's not needed anymore because the receipt passed the year warranty. They guarantee that this replacement will last long, but it did not. Now I don't know what to do. The staffs are friendly and nice to talk to but be careful though, when they said all parts are from China it might mean the low quality that's made in China, so ask carefully. Also try checking the seals of every products from them. If there's no place where it's made, it's probably from China. I don't know about their other products though, but that's just my experience with them. Their nice to talk to but... Be warned.

He gave me his recommendation and suggested that it would be better to purchase a new laptop instead of letting him try to repair the one I brought in. He explained that he would probably not be able to fix it and it would be more cost effective for me to just trash it. He also did not try to push me to purchase one of the laptops he had for sale in the shop or try to swindle me out of money for something he knew he couldn't fix. I would recommend this shop and especially Paul for anything and to anyone. I know I will definitely be back in the future should the need arise.

Computer wouldn't boot, That was the reason to fix it, was told it could be fixed and everything transferred over with a new drive. If I would have known they didn't transfer anything, I would have just bought a new one. Years of work down the drain after they assured me it would all work the same. It's so aggravating, will never recommend going here, you might as well buy a new one and save yourself the $250. Like, if it can't be fixed or recovered, then tell the customer that. Don't wait to give the computer back after the first of the month and invoices are due and they deleted all my business info, which is pretty important when you work from home!!! Now stuck with a wiped laptop, bills and accounts that can't be accessed, and the bill for this headache.

They advised that due to it being an older laptop (it was manufactured in 2021...that's "older"?) and the RAM for it no longer being available (other than possibly finding a used one) that it wouldn't be cost effective to fix and that I'd probably be better off purchasing a new laptop. I picked it up and paid the $35 diagnostic fee, and once I got home bought a used 16GB RAM for $20. I installed it and am having the same issue with the screen...so now I'm back to having to find another shop that can actually diagnose this thing correctly as it obviously wasn't a RAM issue.

I stopped by yesterday looking for a printer for my home office. An employee saw me looking and came by to ask me what exactly I needed in a printer, and he discussed some different features and options with me. He was truly very helpful. They even told me about a subscription service that Office Depot has that I've never had heard of before.
