I have watched it evolve, but not really, over the years. It's gotten better. I've been hitting up this place in Midtown and Snowden for years. This was my first time at this location. No frills, simple, to the point place. No need in any fancy ass lights, music, flair on the staff, overcomplicated menu items, or any other BS. There were only two ladies working here this day. I was impressed at their ability to pull off the shift as I sat and watched. The owner needs to increase the pay of these two. He has no idea how lucky he is to have them. They were awesome, I wish I knew their names. They sell a smashed type burger that is real meat, seasoned well, cooked wonderfully every time, with a side of fries that although are not fresh cut, they are pretty dang tasty. Battered fries is what I believe the term is. The coating helps them stay crisp and hot for longer. Nice invention really. Most toppings are free and it's actually very reasonable meal for today's food climate. They had a couple of specials this last time. The Cowboy and The Rajun Cajun. The young ladies were very busy but still checked on us as much as possible. We received water promptly and my friend ordered a sampler plate of hummus, Baba Ganoush and spinach dip. The trio was served with pita and chips. The pita was okay. It was a little tough. I ordered the Santorini Gyro. It had Gyro meat, lettuce, tomatoes, purple onions, cucumbers, feta cheese and Café Med herbal vinaigrette dressing. It was huge and was delicious. It needed a little bit more vinaigrette for me. I took a lot of it home to enjoy. Our sampler trio was quite tasty. The restaurant is decorated with Mediterranean decor. It is quite quaint and very cozy. A tad warm inside but still comfortable. We were waiting for the server to bring our checks as we did not know we were to pay at the register in the rear. The place was very busy as many patrons stopped for lunch or take-out orders. I will return for sure.

I could tell that he had established relationships with some of his customers and that is always nice to see. It is great when a business can truly be connected to their community. It was raining one day and he was courteous enough to help me take my food to my car and even opened my door for me. He is such a kind person. He has gained a customer for sure in me. I also want to say that their side salad is really good. I used to try the pasta as the side but it would always be so dry and flavorless. Now that I have had their salad, with such great improvement, I'm curious if the pasta has received a makeover as well. I also order a salad that had the Greek salad. It has feta cheese in it, olives, onion, tomato with a side of Balsamic vinaigrette and an Herbal vinaigrette dressing. I fully enjoyed the salad and that is saying a lot, because I don't typically do salads at restaurants just because I feel like I make better at home.
