    Sets off the sink beautifully!

I can't believe I'm only the second review this artisan. Concrete is awsome, fresh, and definitely a fantastic alternative to any other countertop material. It's an artisan craft - every piece and every job is a one-off. If you want something that exudes ricness but feels organic at the same time, consider concrete. If you are considering concrete, don't even bother shopping around - call Nick at It's Concrete and don't look back! He was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was way behind on my remodel timeframe (with a baby on the way), and he pulled out all the stops to deliver a perfectly fabricated countertop days earlier than promised, and weeks earlier than what other fabricators could do. And it was perfect. Nick listened closely to my vision, provided some really insightful input, and the result was even better than my expectation. He is his own worst critic, and has a sensibility that really matched what I was trying to accomplish. The countertop of my vanity may very well be the piece that pulls the entire room together. Check out some of the pics and see how truly beautiful concrete can be as a high end countertop material.

Found Nick on Yelp! and what a great find it was. We had Nick build us a counter/bar top for a home outdoor kitchen bar. We met as his shop (pre-pandemic) and saw some samples and color options. We loved the crushed shell option and Nick did not disappoint. We planned for an April install and planned together for an easy install including safe distancing to protect his team and our family. The install took maybe an hour or so and we LOVE our counter/bar. It came out better than expected with the shade of grey and crushed shells its perfect for our backyard spot. Fairly priced, very friendly and consultative on each detail of the project. We hope to work with Nick again on future renovation projects and find more excused to work concrete forms into our home and yard.

We…read moreknew we wanted a total makeover for our place, but trying to find a team that actually handles the 'boots on the ground' construction side and the high-end design is way harder than it looks. After talking to a few different firms, Kanika Design just felt like the right fit. Kanika really listened to what we wanted. I've always been a bit nervous about using bold colors, but she pushed us (in a good way!) for a deeper color palette in the main living areas. It looks incredible. Kanika found us so many unique, high-quality furniture pieces that you just won't find at a big-box store. The biggest thing for us was logistics. Once the design process completed, their team handled everything - architectural, permit headache, and construction. Anyone who has done a remodel knows things never go 100% perfectly, but whenever an issue popped up, they were on top of it immediately. They kept the contractors moving and kept us updated on the budget and what was happening next. It's a relief to finally be done after 2 years and have a home that feels like us but way better. I can't recommend Kanika and her team enough. We're still obsessed with how everything turned out.

A Masterful Designer & Project Manager - Highly Recommend!…read more After experiencing severe water damage in our kitchen, we initially set out to remodel just that space. However, as we got deeper into the process, we quickly realized how overwhelming it was without a designer. What started as a kitchen renovation soon expanded into a full home transformation--kitchen, bathrooms, family, living, and dining rooms--all of which desperately needed an update from their original 1992 construction. After months of searching and interviewing designers, we found Alina Druga Interiors. My wife was especially drawn to her award-winning designs, and after glowing reference checks, we confidently hired her for both the design and project management phases. From the very beginning, Alina brought a sense of clarity and structure to what had been a chaotic and overwhelming process. One of Alina's greatest strengths is her ability to ask the right questions to truly understand her clients' style and needs. She introduced us to ideas we would never have considered, while also being straightforward and honest about what would or wouldn't work--and, more importantly, why. She has a gift for refining ideas into something cohesive, tasteful, and elegant. Beyond her impeccable design skills, Alina is extremely detail-oriented and proactive. She spotted potential construction issues early on, saving us from costly mistakes. Her detailed CAD drawings were invaluable in helping us visualize the design and made things significantly smoother for our contractor. Thanks to her meticulous planning and years of experience, the entire process was well-organized--so by the time construction began, every material, appliance, and detail was already accounted for. While the preparation process took about a year, the actual construction went remarkably smoothly and was completed in just four months. Now, every time we walk through the door, we feel happy and relaxed in our beautifully designed home. It truly feels like the house we've wanted for years--our happy place! Alina's expertise, organization, and eye for design transformed our home into something modern, inviting, and perfectly suited to our lifestyle. If you are looking for a designer who is not only talented but also an exceptional project manager, we highly recommend Alina Druga Interiors!

We worked with her from design all the way to full implementation. In early stages, she worked with us to explore floor plan options and designed a space to align to our needs and family life that was beyond anything I could have done on my own. She works with a great network of trusted and capable vendors to get our remodel done. Lastly, her focus on detail and prompt communication made us have full confidence that the renovation was going to get done properly. We can't thank Alina enough for all she did for us, and highly recommend her as an advisor and partner for anyone who is about to dive into a renovation.

We've now been in our finished kitchen and house for a few months and love it more every day. We still can't believe the transformation and beyond the beautiful upgrade across the board, his design and recommendations made it SO much more functional. From the design process to communication and his project manager/workers, everyone was a true professional. No kitchen horror stories and they finished exactly on time. There of course are small things that came up in communication between what we decided with Shawn (keeping our dishwasher) and what the workers on site knew about (tried to give it away 2x), but that is common in any project, and most important to us is every small thing we noticed/flagged was fixed without question. We've already referred Shawn to anyone who asks. He took our space from a very dated 1960s vibe to modern but with character, and a design that matches our ranch style home. Thank you Shawn for making our house feel like us!

Archana is with you throughout the entire process, beginning to the very end, transitioning your house to the most comforting home. If you are on the fence, DO IT. She will work with you, and it will work out, and you will be so, so happy. Let's get into the nitty gritty (bear with me, it's a long one) - Archana is everything you could wish for in a designer, supporting your every need, every step of the way. She is creative, patient, understanding, communicative, authentically kind, and most importantly - she loves what she does. For my project, I needed some serious help with my dining room. I was at my wit's end. As you can tell in my before photos, this was a hopeless home project for me. I painted it an awful blue thinking I could do something fun with that and a hodge-podge of very random pieces scattered around thinking that would tie it together lol. What I wanted: A room for gathering with friends/family and a room I could casually lounge - with comforting, warm, inviting vibes. To start, Archana came over and spent about an hour with me - taking measurements, photos, asking questions, understanding my needs. Transparently, I didn't make this easy and came to Archana with a difficult task - after a very unfortunate surprise renovation, I had a lower budget to work with. And to make matters even more challenging I owned random mismatched furniture I didn't want to get rid of because it was either functional or important inherited pieces (dining table/benches/etc.). The cherry on top? A home built in 1906 - well over 100 years old, so a lot of aged nuances to the house with textures and wainscoting. A few challenges to say the least. Outside of my restrictive budget, I tried to give her the space she needed to work her magic. Now, gathering the furniture and decor. One thing I really appreciated about Archana is how communicative she is. She'll work with you on your preferred method - I personally preferred text. She is constantly asking me questions and sending me pieces to look at and for feedback. No pressure on responses and I reply when I have the chance to. I am frustratingly indecisive and always sharing new ideas, pivoting from a direction we thought we were going to a completely different one. She welcomed all new ideas, while still considering the big picture and staying focused. She will also ask for your preferred purchasing method. I preferred ordering the main, big pieces in case there were any issues I wanted to be the one that had my name on the order. Everything shipped to my house. Because of my low budget - she found great, affordable pieces at Homegoods, Marshall's and Ikea and sent me receipts with all her purchases for reimbursement. Those came with her on set-up day. Everything was organized and there were no surprises. I think I was pretty quick in decision making and we weren't making any structural changes. I told her my timeline isn't rushed, maybe a month. But... in TWO WEEKS we had everything we needed to complete the project!!! She said I had a pretty easy project. But still, TWO. WEEKS. Insane. She came over with her partner and spent a full Saturday/Sunday to assemble, set up, and ultimately - reveal. The biggest task was the wallpaper. Extra (extreme) labor was involved with cutting, fitting, and adhering - this was quite the significant task and major, major kudos to the power duo for installing this and how freaking amazing it turned out!!! Finally, the reveal - and love that she offers this!! I had a friend hangout at the house while I was out doing some family things. Then I came back and it was time for the reveal.... ... Speechless, in love and awe of the dining room that was and now is. Everything was of course what I expected, but it all came together beautifully. Her finishing touches were absolute perfection. The wallpaper, the decor, the reading nook - I mean are you kidding me?! To see the vision come to life - the care, the love that she puts into her work. I am so incredibly grateful for her and am so happy that I worked with this team. From her kind personality, her style, her patience, her vision - absolutely zero regrets. It's only been a couple days, but now every time I enter this room - I feel a sense of comfort and happiness. FINALLY. Thank you again Marble Home Renovations for everything you are and everything you do.
