Pistachio boba tea!
Rosana S.

Finally a Boba Time in Venice Beach!!! Whether it's a warm day or rainy day it's THE spot to go get something delicious for the mood! Today I tried the pistachio frappe , it's so delicious!! But that shouldn't stop you from getting some of their other flavours! They surprisingly have a lot of options to choose from! Staff at this location are super friendly and fast and they were so sweet to my pup! I will definitely come back whenever I visit Venice beach for the drinks but also the beyond sweet staff!

There are a few locations in LA and I actually like this one! It's super nice to have a boba shop on the beach so perfect for the hot weather. The service was friendly and it wasn't too busy. It's counter service only so grab it drink and go. The price wasn't too crazy and got the large size for around $10. I ended up getting the Matcha Thai Tea and it was pretty good. A little bit too sweet, but after the ice melted was perfect. They didn't load it up full of ice either and was a good amount.

Wow, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this little Boba shop. I drove for Uber Eats and came here to pick up an order for a customer. The order had a problem, and I was waiting there, figuring it out with Uber support. While waiting, Jessie, the girl at the front desk, made me a fresh iced milk tea drink. Yummy! The milk tea was unique and so refreshing. They have so many drink options you can choose from; the location is BOMB - right in front of the beach! The people there are fantastic- they love what they do and will treat you with patience and gratitude. Thanks to my side hustle (drive for Uber eats), I know many incredible, hidden places in the Santa Monica/Venice/ MDR area. This place is 10/10 recommended.

May 2024/Venice Beach Oceanfront: While taking a walk on the Venice Beach Boardwalk, I was excited to see It's Boba Time! I ordered a large Taro Boba Milk Tea & it absolutely hit the spot, was delicious! There are so many flavors, can't wait to try them as well! Customer service was top-of-the-line and super friendly! Perfectly refreshing drink on a sunny day; I sat on the sand here at the beach and enjoyed my drink & loved every sip of it!!

We love boba and boba time is always consistent in its flavors and boba quality so as expected this place was no different. What stood out here was Kristin w. At the service window. She was kind, patient and so personable ! We were on bike riding date and she just added to our amazing day. Thank you for being so great

Vietnamese Coffee and Macaroon

New Boba shop in the boardwalk had to give it a try when walking by. Got the Vietnamese coffee and a macaroon for free with a coupon. Usually they are $2.50 not bad for the quality if the small cookie. Coffee was string and flavorful powered me down the boardwalk to Venice.

Friendly service, surprisingly fairly priced especially when you consider the location, a lot of variety and really good treat to sip on, perfect while strolling the boardwalk.

Fresh delicious Boba and very friendly worker. Considering they're at the beach, it is very reasonably priced.

Ngl I was a little nervous getting just 50% sugar because of how much of a sweet tooth I am, but it was surprisingly perfect! The boba also added a nice touch of sweet. I loved how unique the boba was! Tea flavor itself was perfect and delicious. Too bad I don't live around here because I would get this all the time! Service is either self-order on a kiosk or at the counter. This location is a little standalone building kind of in the middle of the street. Small amount of seating inside, more tables outside. The Golden Buddha was a little disappointing for me. I was expecting a more pronounced tea flavor, but it was quite subtle and lacked the depth I was hoping for. The Yuzu Osmanthus, on the other hand, was much more enjoyable! It had a great balance of flavors, with a refreshing citrusy note that made it perfect for a warm, sunny day in Santa Monica. However, I couldn't really detect any osmanthus, which was a bit disappointing given the name. My biggest letdown was actually the jasmine silk boba. I was looking forward to the floral aroma and delicate tea flavor of jasmine, but neither really came through. Instead, it tasted mostly sweet, and a little too sweet for my liking. I couldn't detect much tea flavor at all. Overall, I enjoyed the refreshing combination of flavors in the Yuzu Osmanthus, but I wish the tea notes were more pronounced, especially in the silk boba. For a tea-focused shop, I was hoping for a little more depth and complexity in the drinks.

I had the passion fruit tea 25% sweet which was technically advertised as made with real passion fruit puree but it was just a premade syrup from Teazone. I received the drink and was disappointed that it tasted like water with some passion fruit resemblance. I had expected a stronger tea flavor since I did less sweet, but it tasted like sweetened water. I ended up discarding the drink. We also had gotten a classic black milk tea, which also tasted watered down, and finally we got the ube coconut smoothie, which for some reason was grey and white. We got that one at 75% sweet, but it was way too sweet and left a weird residue in my mouth. Very disappointed and would not come back again.

Looking for a cute breakfast spot in Beverly Hills? Urth Caffé is calling your name!…read more Who says breakfast of champions has to mean pancakes, waffles, and eggs? Not this girl! I marched right in, ordered the biggest salad they had, asked for a coffee large enough to fuel a small village, and was one happy camper! Meanwhile, my bestie ordered a gorgeous waffle that looked like it belonged on the cover of a breakfast magazine. Was I jealous? Me? NEVER! Okay, fine. Maybe a little. I may have stared at it once or twice. Purely for research purposes, of course! But between my mountain of greens, my supersized coffee, and the company of my bestie, life was pretty darn sweet! If you're wandering around Beverly Hills looking for a charming place to grab breakfast, catch up with a friend, and possibly experience a little waffle envy, give Urth Caffé a visit! Parking in Santa Monica is rarely easy, so I considered it a small victory when I actually found free street parking in the neighborhood during my most recent visit. My go-to order is usually the D'Lox Toast or the D'Lox Sandwich, but this time I opted for the D'Lox on a bagel. It was absolutely delicious as always, though seeing the $20.65 price tag for a bagel sandwich is always a bit of a shock each and every time. And, of course, I couldn't resist pairing it with a Wazuka Matcha. Another $8.50 later, I had one of my favorite matcha drinks in hand. All said and done, breakfast for one came to $32.28, which is pretty steep especially for a place where you order at the counter and find your own table. That said, the quality is consistently excellent. The ingredients are fresh, everything tastes great, and I always enjoy my meal and overall experience at Urth Caffe. If the prices were a bit more reasonable (and the crowds a little smaller), this would easily be a five star spot for me. Until then, it's still a place I'll happily return to whenever my friends want to go.

Ordering is easy and straightforward, using either the kiosks or the cash register. What makes them stand out among all the dessert spots in Japantown is their super fluffy Japanese-style Cheesetella cheesecakes and freshly baked castella cakes in various flavors. I really love having castella cake with my tea though sometimes they can be too sweet or hard to find, but 7 Miles Tea Lab came through! The mango pomelo sago is a refreshing, filling fruity drink that mimics the flavor profile of a mango sticky rice dessert and has actual fruit instead of artificial syrup. I get excited when I see avocado and fruit combo drinks on menus since they're more unique and the avocado just adds a creaminess that still feels light and healthier but with natural sweetness from the mango. They also didn't make me have to choose between two of my favorite flavors, jasmine green tea and peach, because one of the drinks had both. I was surprised to see lime juice was in the drink because it was subtle enough to just balance the sweetness of the drink without being sour or tart. The jasmine tea with jasmine jelly was my favorite for pairing with the castella cake since it both were very classic flavors and went really well together. Ever since visiting Japan, I've been craving a similar castella cake experience in LA and was so happy to find one right in my neighborhood! Because it's so soft and fluffy, it doesn't feel heavy after a meal. Washing it down with some tea was a nice balance.
