Unfortanately i cant give this place a good review for brows. Sherene did my brows and they are so very uneven. We had discussed this before she started that i knew one eyebrow was lower and if she could correct it. Instead it made it terribly worse. I cried for days and felt i had been cheated out of $400. She told me to come back for a touch up and it was an easy fix. Mind you touch ups are weeks out because you need to heal... it wouldnt have been so bad to wait that long if both brows were at the same level. To wait that long is so hard when you have to be out and face people. So many people had asked me why my brows were so uneven and one side thicker than the other. I must have told the story over 10 times. I was truly disapointed and swore up and down id never let ANYONE touch my face again. Period. I truly tried to trust her but after i looked in the mirror i wasnt shocked by the color because i knew it would fade, i was shocked how one brow looked NOTHING like the other. Although her stokes were beautiful my worst nightmare came true that id have to remove it because it looked uneven. Sherene was very nice and personable. But i cannot recommed her and it pains me to say that because her work on others looks great. Maybe it just wasnt my day or hers? Sherene did offer me free lash extensions because i wasnt happy with the turn out. I declined her offer because i just couldnt stomach doing anything to my face again after what had happened. Since getting my brows removed and looked at by 4 people from other businesses who do microblading, they told me the strokes were very deep and that it shouldnt be that deep. They also all said it was a hack job which wasnt what i really wanted to hear after spending $400 for them. Im not a professional so im not sure what im looking at, but they all told me the same thing after inspecting me. One business was kind enough to help me remove my brows without charging me because they felt so bad at what happened and said they couldnt see how Sherene let me leave the way i did. They let me know its a common mistake with microbladers who dont do outlines and measurments correcetly or try to free hand. AWFUL experience. I too bought the Groupon and thought it was a deal too good to be true. And, it is. Sherene, the owner, was never there when I was, but assured me that her spray tan specialists were experts and would take care of me. Wrong! With your Groupon, you get 3 spray tan sessions. The first time I went in, the girl barely sprayed me. I got a little bit of color, but not as much as I wanted. She said it would peak in 24 hours so I waited ... and nothing. The second time I went in, another girl did my spray tan. I told her I wanted medium coverage, and for my legs to match my arms, which were slightly darker. She botched my body! I look like an Oompa Loompa! I am so orange, I could be the Phoenix Suns' biggest fan. I went home and scrubbed off as much as I could. Now I have a little bit of color and it's under control. Worst spray tan experience ever. I won't say the girl's name here because she was nice, but Sherene, if you read this, send me a note. This girl could really use more training. A friend with magnificent lashes told me about Sherene of It Girl Diva and I'm really glad she did. Okay, I wanted a little Oomph for my lashes and was really pretty sick of trying to glue-on those crazy fake ones I buy at MAC. I would never take them off after an evening of festivities and they'd always end up on my forehead or on Hubby ("gasp*). I will say it takes a LONG time to get this done - about 3 hours for both eyes the first time you go - but you have to understand why. Sherene takes lash by lash and glues them on to your own natural lashes. It may not sound like a lot but to demonstrate, she put 120 lashes on one eye and about 130 lashes on the other. Holy cow, its like surgery! She does not rush the process or you which is really how we'd want it and she loves what she does. I go back every 2-3 weeks or so to get maintenance on them and replace any sparse areas. After my first appointment, I will admit it took a while to get used to the volume but I found myself even fluttering my new eyelashes to the bag boy at the grocery store. I mean they look so amazing, you don't need mascara at all on the top, only on the bottom ones. Her place is really cute - a one room office on the lower level of the Satchi Salon. She has great music on and makes sure you're definitely comfy with blankets, etc. If you wear contact lenses like me, you'll want to bring your case and solution because you'll have to pop them out for the process. If you want gorgeous lashes, I would only go to Sherene. I have read horror stories about other places and I know she does "corrections" for clients that went to somewhere else and had problems. The only gripe I would have is that Sherene can be so detail oriented, she runs late. If that bothers you, just take a deep breath in and remember how stunning your eyes will be after she's done with you. read more

Sherene is a DIVA ---- not a Diva with 'tude but talent! Came to Sherene after looking for a place to get my lashes done. I've been on a lash-extenion hunt these days and was happy to find a place close by. The lashes she used on me were ''crescent'' ones and it definitely gave me OOMPH for the holidays. They are a little more stiff than other lashes I've tried. I think these are synthetic. Mine lasted about 3-4 weeks and the process took about an hour. Sherene doesn't rush and takes her time. But don't make an appointment if you are rushed. She also gives you a little kit to take home that includes a cute tweezer and lash brush to maintain. For someone interested in lash extensions -- word of advice: have a conversation about what kind of look you want and be prepared to make a great investment. After getting my lashes on, a week later I felt they were falling out. I immediately sent Sherene a picture and she immediately squeezed me to make sure they were okay. I came to get my eyebrows done for a very special event back in November of last year I contacted Sherene & wanted to book with her since there are great reviews with her! She was kind when she messaged me but she said she was booked and couldn't take me but that her best girl would do it for me ROXY! Worst ever!!! Ok to let you all know I have Alopecia and I had just lost all my eyebrows I was already at a horrible mental state from loosing all my hair I was lost and very sad going through this medical issue and I was excited to have eyebrows since I had none so long story short she tells me that Roxy specializes with Alopecia clients and she would do great... day of appointment I get there Roxy is nice but when she "numbs" me and it's time to get started I felt everything I was in sooooo much pain I literally cried I would tell her how much it hurt and she saw me cry and cringe and she didn't do anything about it she used a single blade and I almost fainted due to the pain! She said it's suppose to hurt a little bit... they look like shit and the reason it took me this long to post this was because how insecure i still was with loosing my hair & im longer insecure and don't care to post this nasty picture of me! I would give less if it were possible, and here's why... The business owner (Sherene) has been EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of, and once we were able to speak to her, she was incredibly rude and less than accommodating. My fiancé tried to purchase a gift certificate for me on Mother's Day (which is advertised on her website) to have my eyebrows microbladed. It says on the website that she accepted PayPal, MasterCard, & Visa as payment. When my fiancé called to purchase the gift certificate, Sherene INSISTED she would only take payment from him in cash, which was weird not only because we knew services would not be rendered immediately (as I pregnant and she would not perform microblading on pregnant or breastfeeding women. I was looking forward to the experience after pregnancy) but also because we lived 60 miles from the studio. She told us to come pick up the certificate and that she would have "Danica" re-write it because we "took too long to pick up the first one"(After stating it would be a week or so before we could make it to Scottsdale). After several attempts to pay for and receive the gift certificate, on not only my fiancé's part, but mine as well (her excuse was that she was very busy and the BEST around), I finally went in to the "studio" which was very hidden and hard to find. The door was locked and there was a sign that directed you to a different building if you were looking for Sherene. I knocked on the door and it was answered by a woman wearing a necklace that said "Danica". She informed me that Sherene was out of the office, actually stating that she was "on the ocean somewhere" and had me write down my fiancé and I's contact information (on the back of a random envelope) to get back to us. When I told "Danica" that she was the one that was supposed to have my gift certificate, she blew me off saying she was with a client and that there were TWO Danica's that worked there, so it must have been the other one who had the gift certificate. Then tonight at 10:45pm Sherene called my fiancé and said that our business was too much of a hassle for her, and due to "good business practices" she was not going to perform the services for me. Once they were off the phone, she text messaged him and said she had recorded the phone call without him knowing, so I had my attorney call her and she questioned him as to why he was phoning her at 11:00 at night and then hung up on him. This place has been a nightmare and a hassle from the start, and I would't recommend this place to anybody. The staff, ESPECIALLY, the owner Sherene, are all rude and run their business in a very nonprofessional manner. I am writing this review in an attempt to save anyone the hassle and hours I spent trying to deal with this business. One negative feedback and criticism and she calls me screaming, says she recorded my phonecall(ok u recorded urself screaming) then talks down on me saying how great of a business owner she is and I was a kid with no experience on how a business ran. I think it's funny how she's proud of a tiny rented area the size of my bathroom. Someone PLEASE give this woman some validation in life so she isn't so defensive and delusional. The extensions don't last, the microblading is deep and thick. I've been to far better places across LA and they all said it was a whack job. I previously had my brows micro-bladed here and still in love with the results! I returned for dermaplaning and peel with Sherene last month. I have very sensitive skin and have been battling adult cystic acne for years. I've tried everything including accutane with so-so results. I mainly tried this procedure for hair removal. I decided to go here after having my first eyelashes done elsewhere. Masha used mink eyelashes after removing the silk eyelashes carefully yet quickly. These lashes provided much more volume with half the weight. The beds are super cozy and the eye pads she used to keep my bottom lashes down were much more comfortable than the previous place I went to.
