Tony cane out to evaluate our needs and provided an estimate soon after that was fairly priced. He also worked with our brand preference. The work was scheduled soon after, and Wow, Edison and his crew showed up right on time with a courtesy call an hour before hand. They addressed all of our issues in one shot. They were very professional , personable and knowledgeable. They upgraded our panel from 150 to 200 amp, a new 240 Volt circuit for a hot tub and installed an automatic transfer switch for our generator. They also identified a wiring issue we inherited when we bought the house over 10 years ago that disabled certain outlet and switches and now are working again !!! Would recommend highly and would give them repeat business should we ever need. We have a rowhome from 1900 with a lot of knob and tube wiring that was causing us problems. We contracted iTech to upgrade the electrical on all floors of our house. Our home has old plaster walls and ceilings, and they found the least invasive way to do the rewiring. We were very happy with everything from start to finish. Tony was able to come give us a quote within 48 hours of first contacting him. He and his crew were able to start the project within a week. They are very professional and nice to work with. They completed the project on time and within the original estimate. We found iTech to be honest, dependable, and very knowledgeable. Their prices are also very fair. The electrician (Tony) first told me the day before that he'd come by between 3-5pm. He called me at 3 and said he'd be over in 35 minutes. And sure enough, he was there right on time. Communicative and punctual. He came over because there was an ominous smell in my house that's often associated with overheated circuits. He checked everything. Said everything looked okay. And then he said "I'm not going to charge you anything. I didn't do anything so I can't, in good conscience, charge you." To me, that speaks volumes about TRUST. I've never seen that before. Also my three year old son was nagging him (as three year old boys tend to do). And Tony the electrician was so kind to him! Pleasant. Honest. Kind. I would like to thank Tony and his men for all the hard work that they did in my 1930's house. All of the wiring was very old and they replaced it for me. The men that were here were very professional and if I asked a question they stopped and took their time to answer me so that I could understand. I might add that they were here for four days and each day the tarps were down and at the end of the day they cleaned everything up and vacuumed everything. Excellent, fast, professional, incredibly fair on prices, and honest. 100% will use again for future work we were already thinking about as we knock out other home repairs. They were our second quote for an emergency fix that was needed between a holiday weekend (when the requests were sent) and the start of a heat wave that PECO was sending out energy warnings over. Unlike the other company we got a quote from, they didn't try to do a lot of upselling and try to force us into massive overspending when we needed the power back ASAP. Sorry for the delay in my review iTech. I recently used iTech on Sept 4 2021 to add electrical outlets in my garage and outside back, put up a fan and add outside fixtures. They were on time. I needed to have a new outlet installed for an air conditioner, I had a hard time finding an electrician that would even call me back to give me an estimate. iTech Electric gave me a reasonable estimate and was able to come out and do the job just a few days later. The guys were great! One of several things that impressed me was that first one technician came and did assesement/costing. Then the other technicians came later and seamlessly followed on from the initial quote/review. I had a number of jobs to be done ranging from changing electric sockets to completly replacing fuse box. I found all the guys efficient, polite and really very professional. I called iTech Electric because i was having problems with my lights and outlets. They called me 30 minutes before they arrived, they put on the shoes cover then asked me what's the problem. I explain the problem and they start diagnose the problem after 15 minutes they told me what was wrong and what caused the problem and how much it will cost to fix it.
