i like the variety of pastas offered in this deli, but i wouldn't go as far as to say that it's 'as close as you will get to being in Italy whilst in Brighton'. i think that would be a little far-fetched.
the food looks attractive and always lures me in, but judging purely on the taste factor, i would say the pasta dishes i have sampled have been, on the whole, disappointing. i have found the food to be under-seasoned and occassionally bland.
however, the meatballs are pretty good, as are the the giant pasta shells with chorizo.
the prices are okay, perhaps a little on the steep side for some of the items, but not exactly out of line with what you'd expect to pay around the seven dials catchment.
on the whole, the service is quite good, although one lady seems to be suffering from permanent PMT, which can be a little off-putting.
