The idea behind Fanny's is to provide the local community with local produce, so you'll find there's lots of Sussex cheeses and local meat, as well as local organic milk and eggs. With freshly baked bread and pastries from the Real Patisserie this really is the perfect little shop to have on your doorstep! No longer must you buy yucky over-priced bread from the newsagent if you run out- hooray! The assortment of bread is great and the baguettes are especially good. With yummy home-made cakes, jars of pickles and preserves, antipasti, cheeses and meats of all varieties, I really could spend hours browsing and sampling in this lovely little deli. All of the food was light, full of flavour and very nutritious so I walked away cured of my previously dreadful hangover and feeling fresh (also thanks to the help of their detox juice which may become a hangover essential). I will definitely be going back frequently as I need to try everything! Also, the staff are lovely and very helpful, the desserts and smoothies looked amazing and there is a great selection of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian food products.
