Well I'll be buggered - finally a really good Italian Restaurant close to Bribie Island. All the old Italian favourites PLUS wood fired pizza's (regular or gluten free). I had to try the hottest gourmet pizza - the 'Diabolus Viper' with jalapeno, habanero chilli peppers, red onion, pepperoni sausage, hot pepper sauce, garlic, chilli flakes, buffalo mozzarella - needed a few rums to cool this baby down!
Terrific service and all the meals WERE SERVED PIPING HOT (hear that all other restaurants on Bribie).
So I had to ask the owner 'Where in Italy did the chefs come from' - the answer was Punjab, India!! Go figure. But it does make sense. A chef from a region in the world that makes the best curries and flatbreads has fused his knowledge to create great Italian sauces and pizza's. It's like the Indian Brothers collided with the Greek Mafia - talk about Con-fusion.
