Greeted with a smile and a friendly word is the perfect way to put a hungry person in an excellent mood to enjoy the food.
After putting in my order for lunch I didn't have long to wait for my pasta to arrive. Presented in a home style, this dish threw me back to the days of when Mum would cook me a large bowl of steaming pasta. But rather than the flavour I had grown up with, I fell head-first down the rabbit hole of flavours to a totally new world in which I experienced that perfect combination between sour-sweet and salty. The sauce was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of tang to it. Topping that off was Parmesan cheese to add a hint of saltiness that balanced out the taste of tomato.
Up next was dessert as there was still a little room left in my tummy since I decided upon a standard serving of pasta. My choice consisted of Napoli chocolate crostata. The presentation showed love in much the same way as the pasta did, perhaps a little more fancy as something so delicious deserves. The pastry was crumbly and the chocolate filling was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The friendly nature of both staff members on duty made the experience so much more enjoyable.
I give What's In The Pot my highest recommendation. Make sure to pop in for lunch or even dinner when you next see yourself out at Redcliffe. read more
