The food isn't bad & the price is ok but this is Qld which means its HOT for at least half the year & the air con in this place is just all wrong. It's not the restaurant owners fault, the building is just not set up for a restaurant (& trust me on this, it may look like a great restaurant set up but not in terms of the kitchen exhaust/air con). So to a lay person it would seem that the air con is not even on but it is so there's no point asking them to turn the air con on or up as its struggling at full capacity as it is. Ive given this place only 2 stars for a few reasons. As i said the food is average but really regardless of the quality of the food you can't enjoy it when every mouth full just makes you even hotter. The menu hasn't changed since the place opened a couple of years ago & considering it relies on local business it's in definite need of a change. They do pizza's that are served on normal plates (standard crockery) not wooden plates so the pizza ends up sweating and soggy. It's noisy and the service is just ok. I've been to much better Italian restaurant's but hey this is south Brisbane - we are not exactly spoiled for choice so if you don't mind noisy italian restaurants give this a go - just don't go between October & April unless you like eating in a sauna. read more
