This is the best Itsugar I've been to and it's not even close. I live in New York and have been to multiple Itsugars including the one in the Tanger Mall, the Roosevelt Field Mall ones, the Manhattan one, and more. The staff was honestly the best. They had a huge selection which I couldn't take pictures of or buy because of the power outage (I wish I could have!) But the manager helped me out and let me check out regardless, which I really appreciated. Both staff members were very nice, having proper, professional attitudes and behaviorisms, and didn't panic and knew what to do very well. Turns out the Marathon setup shorted a fuse, as there was firetrucks and everything, but the staff helped me perfectly and I am really appreciative! read more

Almost every type of terribly wonderful sugar you can imagine! Four stars for the selection and an extra star for the customer service. They have pick your own bags and buckets of gummies and gum and chocolates and jawbreakers oh my. They also have Asian candy like fun flavored snickers and Pocky. The extra star for customer service is that in her enthusiasm, my little one left her little purse in the store with her beloved slime inside. Nothing valuable, but had intrinsic value as she had just gotten it the day before at the aquarium. We didn't realize until late that night as we retraced our steps through photos of where she might have left it. We knew it was highly unlikely that it would be there but I promised her we would check the next day. My friends, THEY HAD THE PURSE! Where can you go to get some not so ordinary candy items? Here!! They have a variety of candid assortments from gummies, pez, mints, and even alcoholic candies. I purchased the Mike and Ike's cotton candy (who buys Cotten candy: me) in the cherry and orange flair and the cherry and lime flavor. It was pretty good. Bought candy corn and other candies in its brand packaging. After we walked out of the store, my husband open the candy corn in its original packaging and after trying it, it has a strong foul taste. We came back in the store and brought that to the attention of the store manager. The manager even said it tasted different than the candy corns sitting in the clear container with lid. But because the package is open that they wouldn't allow a return. It's a really bad policy especially when the manager herself tried it, compared and said it doesn't taste the same. The sign of return policy on their counter at the register even said that it has to be returned with receipts original packaging. It didn't say anything about it not being open. Anyhow, it was a bad policy and the manager with the co-manager said they couldn't do anything about it. We wanted them to know it is a bad policy for selling bad candy and not holding accountable, which is bad management. These woke managers got offended and asked us to leave. This left a really bad taste in our Baltimore harbor experience. We will never come back to the store nor to Baltimore harbor. read more

YES, IT MOST DEFINITELY IS! I'm not sure why, but this is one of the few shops left in The Gallery. Hopefully they are just remodeling. When you walk through the doors you are immediately taken aback by what is in front of you. And you audibly heay people gasp as the come in. I had to introduce my Godson to the land of candy & he was not disappointed. After a good 15 mins or so, he settle on 5 types of candies, told him he could get one. I was not going to be responsible for his inflight sugar rush on the airplane heading back to AZ. He took the Gummy Worms, I got the Tart Candy & we were good. We ended up by the Gelato section & I got some Dairy Free Gelato & back to sight seeing we're headed to. The cashier didn't know how to use my Check In coupon, so the store Manager Anthony came to the rescue. Very nice customer service all around as that's the sweet topping of our visit. For example, the $20 box of Laffy Taffy is just a big box of tiny mini Laffy Taffys. The huge Rice Krispie Treat is probably one of the few real huge sized portion there besides the jaw breakers and gummy bears. Kids love it though. This is a 2022 version of Sweet Factory, however, the advertisements they have within the store could be better. I'm giving this a three star because they have almost every type of American made candy, the problem I have with it is how they portray elementary/middle school girls excited when eating candy and depressed when eating leafy greens. The saying, "like a kid in a candy shop" really applied to me here. I couldn't decide exactly on what I wanted so I kind of just started to grab what I liked out of all of it. They basically have every candy you could think of and then some. The part that intrigued me most about this store was the area that held novelty items. I almost wanted to buy everything in this area. I did show restraint which I am happy about. I walked out with a mustache pacifier for my nephew. A little pricey for a pacifier, yes; but totally worth it. The only thing I did not like about this place was at the time of checkout. I have already browsed your items for purchase and I have already decided what I am going to spend my money on. Was craving some sweets after walking around the Inner Harbor area. Stopped by here. They have a bunch of stuff. From oversized Rice Krispy Treats to oversized NERDS candy. I went for the weigh-and-pay area. It's like 4 bucks for a quarter of an ounce and a pound of candy was about 13 bucks. I went for the White Chocolate. Right around a quarter of an ounce. Also got sour tape or whatever and got a fourth of an ounce. All in all, I paid 8 bucks and some change. Definitely a tourist trap. Then again, what isn't in the Inner Harbor area? read more

Pretty underwhelming selection of big national brands you can get anywhere else. Prices are ridiculously high. The distinguishing thing here is some zany novelties, like a 10lb. bar of chocolate, a 5lb. gummy bear, 3 foot long gummi worm etc. However, ounce by ounce, you're still paying twice as much for these gigantic sweets compared to their regular-sized friends at the Supermarket. I was freaked out by seeing all of the candies I remembered as a child. I spent hours walking in there with my boyfriend going, "Ohhh, I remember those!" I was stoked to find Charleston Chew bars - I haven't seen (never mind tasted) those since I was ten years old. Self-service Jelly Belly bins are the BOMB. It's really, really easy to overspend in this place; bulk candies + no scales = mouth-dropping tally. I don't like the self-serve bins being so close to the floor, however; a lot of kids were reaching in the bins and grabbing candy with their hands, dropping it back in; can we say public health hazard, boys and girls? I really wish they'd put the self-service bins much higher where little grubby hands can't reach. Love the general idea, though, and I'll most likely be back for a Charleston Chew fix. read more

The store had a wide variety of items. I believe it was the store owner or manager that was very inviting and engaging. However, when we went to cash out the cashier was HORRIBLE. She was rude right from the beginning. After she scanned my items I went to pay. She just stared at me. I went to put my card in the reader and she stopped me and said I don't have everything. I was clearly very confused and she just kept repeating she doesn't have everything. It took a second for me to realize what she meant and that my 6-year-old was standing behind me with the items she wanted to purchase that I thought were already scanned. I apologized that I thought she had placed them there and the cashier continued with her negative attitude. I understand that there's dishonest people out there but all she had to do was simply say my daughter was holding items that were not scanned and I would have handed them over but instead she couldn't use her words like an adult and had to accuse us of intentionally not paying for items. Please retrain your cashiers. If it wouldn't have upset my daughter I would have absolutely ended the transaction and left. read more

A super fun store. Of course it is for the kids. Unless you bring your inner child out to play quite a bit. The store is in the mall on the inner harbor. It is not a large store. But for it's purpose - it's big enough. There is candy everywhere. I did not play any particular attention to the different varieties that the store carried. But it was super cute. I got a bunch of candy and finally got to the taste the very elusive - Fireball candy. Have to say - the candy is better than the drink for sure. Dylan's Candy Bar kind of set the trend for this type of place, that sells candy bulk by the pound and has gigantic candy bars or paraphernalia (like rice krispie treats). They even had stuff like bacon candy (!), giant gummi bears, 1 lb Reese's PB cups.
