The lady I spoke too, Andrea, was beyond nice. I was stoked to see our home goods were going to be in a safe place. A few reasons why I picked this one is it's right out the back gate of Hurlburt Field, it's gated, you need a code to open it, they have a waived fee rental truck you could use, and the price was a steal. They also offer boxes, tape, etc. for purchase. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. Again Andrea, Sweetest girl to have helped me in such a short notice. Thank you Freedom Storage.

Very responsive, flexible and helpful. This new company is TERRIBLE. Payment plans are a pain. Almost worse then trying to get ahold of a person to talk to. I have never a payment over the years, but they act like im a hobo looking for a shed to crash in. I am actively looking for a new facility to store my items. Look elsewhere.

Rat fecal matter and dander EVERYWHERE on EVERYTHING! Chewed boxes, clothes, purses - you name it. Probably the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. Clearly doesn't care at all about his customer's belongings and just keeps taking their money each month without doing anything to maintain a proper facility. I have already spent well over $2000 to replace things, and not done yet. Not to mention the things that aren't even replaceable. Shame on these people!! When I came in to verify, the manager, "Bubba" (yes, that is his real name) asked me specifically to let him know as soon as we were out of the unit (even though i had paid until 9/30) as "he is full, and has a list of people waiting". So, when I came in to check out of the unit on 9/19, I asked if they put someone in the unit early, if I would get the prorated amount back for the time the new person was in until the end of the month. Bubba went nuts, just kept screaming "Month to Month", when I tried to ask a question, that is all he said over and over. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. I never told him he was wrong, or it was unfair as I'm sure that is what my 3 page tiny-typed contract says, but I was just asking a question. All he had to say was NICELY that the contract doesn't work that way. He then screamed at me saying "You can come down and leave a lock on it until the 30th". Well, that doesn't do me any good, and I'm not a vengeful jerk like he was being. I was just asking a question to see how the process worked, as MOST places don't try to double dip. I paid 215.00 on time every month for 7 months, and really didn't deserve to be treated the way I was. I would NEVER go to this place again, and would NOT recommend this to anyone, as you could tell Bubba has no social skills and obviously has anger problems. When we moved in, we were trying to get the truck situated, and he came out and yelled at us then about where we were driving the truck - I should have known then, but it was too late and I needed the storage. Please do NOT use this place, people like this don't deserve your money.

I believe this is family owned business because there's a house on site and a couple of large dogs that occasionally run loose on the grounds. They have a young gal who "works" the desk and has absolutely no customer service skills - ignores customers and talks on her phone all day long. The grounds are unkempt and there are ants EVERYWHERE. It took us hours trying to get them off of our belongings when we left. Just terrible all around. Drive a few miles longer and find a more friendly and clean location.
