Super cute neighborhood wing restaurant that has so much more! There is a full menu and a full bar with inside and outside seating. They have lots of food items in addition to wings. There are plenty of tables and high tops; with tvs all around. They have specials for lunch and happy hour in addition to weekday events. My husband and I went on a Friday for lunch. It was a nice day so we chose to sit outside. Our server, Emma, came by quickly to take our drink orders. My husband had the Island Wing Combo for $11.95. He ordered them with mango habenro flavor. He said they had just the right amount of heat and the flavor was good. He thought that the bone-in wings were definitely better than the boneless ones. His fries were good. I had the 6 piece boneless with Parmesan garlic sauce. I really liked mine too and they were big pieces. Our food came out quickly, and we were checked on by Emma and other members of staff often. Definitely check out the happy hour! The $8 apps & 1/2 off drinks are such a great deal. I tried the mango margarita, shrimp appetizer, greek salad w blackened chicken, & the honey bourbon wings. All of them were great and I'd totally reorder! The vibe is super chill with TVs at every booth & a really spacious patio. It's also very dog friendly and they even have a menu for the pups! Service was a little slow, but our server was so sweet that we didn't mind. The food is solid and it's just an easy, comfortable spot to hang out. I stopped in for dinner for the first time last month. I was excited to see on the menu the wings are baked and not fried. This is a healthy alternative if you are trying to lose weight or lower your cholesterol. I ordered a side salad and naked wings. I don't like my wings dripping in sauce. Mainly because they're messy and I never eat them all and they do not reheat well. The side salad was fresh and the dressing was good. But the wings were everything! They were crispy and not greasy which I loved. I alternated dipping in the spicy sauce and blue cheese. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. She worked with us as we were dividing the check. I like the ambience of the restaurant as it was open with a beachy theme. There was also a huge patio on one side of the building with a bar that opened up to the outside. I'm really excited island wing opened up around the corner from my house! We need more sportsbars and places open late IMO and wowza I'm gonna love their late night HH! Place has tons of tvs and lots of outdoor seating and plenty of crisp beers on tap. Seemed well staffed the day I went- hopefully that continues. Only neg is my ahi tuna nachos were SUPER disappointing. I've had them at other locations and was craving them. However instead of the advertised wonton nachos, it was almost like a pita chip, and the "chips" were such tiny broken pieces I had to eat the meal with a fork. Def not your typical hand held nacho experience. Hopefully they just ran out of wontons or received the wrong item- just wish they had told me when I ordered. We visited this new location to try them out. We had easy parking lot parking and were promptly seated at a booth. I like the casual and lively ambiance with multiple tvs and a personal tv with remote at the table. We ordered non alcoholic mocktails which were decent. Our monthly Social group met here and it was nice and quiet during Happy Hour. Had nice cold beers and several items off the $8 HH menu. The boom boom grilled shrimp were great with just the right amount of spice. The Mahi bites were tasty but a bit over cooked. Hubby had the smash burger which was quite good with a very fresh bun and crispy fries. I also recommend the fried green beans appetizers. Sooo delish! First time at this Island Wing location and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were delicious, but our bartender Kira stole the show! She made us feel welcome the second we sat down and was easily the highlight of our experience. We started with the ahi poke nachos (way bigger than what we expected) and they were absolutely delicious. For our entree we split 30 wings, you can pick up to 4 flavors but we settled on 3: lemon pepper (crispy and excellent), mango habanero (perfect if you love extra spice like me), and kickin honey bourbon (more sweet than hot). The wings were huge and left us feeling full with plenty to take home. The manager (I think his name was David) looked pretty busy but still came around to check on us which was very much appreciated. So happy they opened this location! Our family loves their food because it is all baked and not deep fried. They offer a happy hour menu special and we ordered the boom boom shrimp & smash burger, both were good. The shrimp were okay and on the smaller side which is unfortunate being so close to local shrimp markets. The tiki fire wing sauce is no joke if you like SPICEY, but be ready for the heat. Most wing places say their hot sauce is hot and it's usually not but this one is seriously hot. There French fries are crispy and have good seasoning. I like that the booths offer their own TV if you want to watch something not on the large screens. Service at this new location has been a little lagging. Each time we've been, we have waited a long time for a server to just come to the table and even longer on drinks. The hosts haven't been overly welcoming and seem confused where to seat people. I'm hoping service improves with more training and time. We will be back and happy to have a fun place to watch the game. read more

I've been so excited to go to this new location! It is closer to my home than the southside location. What a DISAPPOINTMENT!! I usually order wings, but wanted something different this time. I ordered the breaded Buffalo chicken sandwich It was horrible!!! I should have sent it back, but I was very hungry! It was a frozen chicken patty, over cooked, tough and overcooked The fries weren't even good! Over cooked!!! You would think a newer ish restaurant would keep everything well stocked. Apparently that was not the case for this establishment. I came here on the clip coupon which was 20 for 40off of my meal. This place caught my attention because I noticed they had some jerk Chicken on the menu. They have a chicken breast on try that's just grilled chicken that comes with Polynesian sauce but I called beforehand to see if I could get that chicken as jerk chicken. They said absolutely no problem they can do that. So we get there and I start ordering and she's looking on her handheld and she tells me that she thinks they're out of the jerk sauce. She said let me run back and double check. And sure enough she came back and said they were out of the jerk sauce what I like to have the chicken blackened instead? I said sure whatever that's what I came here for but if you're out you're out there's nothing I can do about that. So I got the chicken blackened and ordered it with french fries also blackened and mac and cheese. We did not have to wait too long for our food. Let me start by saying the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious and I would go back just to get that by itself. The grilled chicken with the blackening seasoning was okay also though of course I wanted my jerk seasoning. However, the fries were definitely undercooked. And then at the end when we asked for to go drinks she comes back and says we are out of to-go cups. So out of Togo cups and out of jerk seasoning and the fries were undercooked. Not sure I will be going back. Let me also say that the waitress was very sweet and none of this was her fault she was very attentive and got our refills and she still got a decent tip. However if a newer restaurant like this can't seem to get it together and keep stuff in stock especially for the reason that I went there in the first place was to get jerk chicken not sure I will be going back read more

We just had our second Neighborhood Happy hour at this new Island Wing location and are very happy with the service, food, and atmosphere. We had a reservation for a party of 12 and everyone was very satisfied with everything. A great time was had by all. read more

Not busy but still waited 10 minutes for a drink order so decided not to eat. When finished I asked for a receipt so I knew what I was paying for but waiter could not understand what we were saying. Staff is friendly. Fun Jaguar atmosphere. Food is good. But it was way too loud. It was hard to hear the waitress or even the person in front of us and enjoy our company. Sound echos everywhere. Noise dampening is really needed. read more
