They had texted us their eta and we waited there for a little bit before they showed up. The guy was very nice, very quick too! When it was time for drop offs we were already at the Airbnb but they weren't there yet so we didn't get our bags until 45 mins later which was a bummer since we wanted to decorate but once they came to our drive way they weren't very quick. I def recommend if you have a bunch of bags and don't have anywhere to put your bags!

My husband and I had a private tour with Josh, and it was an absolute blast! As we drove to our…read morefirst location, Josh pointed out the cooler he packed for us in the back of the limo which was filled with local beers, as well as a basket full of snacks in case we got hungry or needed to sober up. We then arrived at our first location: High Wire Distillery, where we had a tour of the distillery and sampled their vodka, gin, rye whiskey, and dessert liquor. We then went to Frothy Beard where we sampled our favorite beers of the day, and Josh helped set up an outdoor game of corn hole for us once he heard how competitive my husband and I were. Additionally, once Josh heard we were in need of pictures on this trip, he kindly offered to drive by the waterfront where he took great pictures of us. We ended the day at Monkle which was a beautiful Belgian brewery where we tried the Belgian double, triple, and quad. All in all, Josh really went above and beyond. His friendly personality made for a comfortable environment, he was a great driver, and he was very professional. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a luxurious experience visiting the Charleston beer/liquor scene. Thank you Josh for the pictures and the memories!

Mike was quite wonderful in finding safe space for my husband's foldable walker which was to our surprise lacking on the bus in today's ADA environment. May I suggest periodic stops of two minutes to take pictures of the many beautiful architectural buildings which cannot be accomplished from inside the bus. Lastly, many guests are senior citizens who no longer have the talents of holding it. Therefore, could a planned stop midway be included in the tour with available restrooms? It would help. Nonetheless, loved the tour and Marine Mike.

The rentals were reasonably priced from $35-55 for paddleboards and kayaks and are good up to 3 hr use at a time. The staff members got us ready in no time and gave us instructions and quick refresher on how to use the equipment and we were off. We were warned not to step in the mud at the creek as it is sticky, and if you or your pet get stuck in it, it will be difficult to get out. The oyster shells around could also cut you so do not touch or step on it. We were instructed to use our oar to push off the mud and oysters if we got too close. As my husband and I paddled towards the harbor, many boats were coming up and down the creek. It was Memorial Day weekend after all. I was worried this would scare away the dolphins. However, my husband did see two dolphins. I, on the other hand, happened to miss BOTH sightings. I did end up seeing pods of dolphins at the waterfront downtown later that night so I did not feel too upset about it. My husband and I had a great time at Shem Creek and highly recommend using Coastal Expeditions. The prices are fair, their staff were very nice, and they are dog friendly. We had our dog with us and saw a good amount of people kayaking with their dogs as well. There are bathrooms onsite and they are very clean. The onsite bathroom also has a shower, if you want to rinse off after kayaking/paddleboarding. We didn't have trouble with parking however I can see how it could be problematic when it gets more crowded in the later summer months.
