Acai sorbet bowl

Large portion especially for the price - very reasonable prices and great food! Service was friendly, professional and quick. Will return!

Tried the honeydew drink. While not fresh fruit, it does provide a refreshing taste on the palate. Not overly sweet, comes with regular boba (tho adding touch of honey to the boba would be perfection). Price is typical for the area. Cute lil shop decorated and fun. Owners are nice and helpful. Would come back!

Wow. Super friendly frontline staff and barista. Really service oriented. Hard to find now-a-days. And all the drinks are handcrafted and really, no REALLY excellent. Will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite nice. The owner explained about their product and how it was made. He even walked us through the process of making my Dubai Chocolate drink, which also contained 24k gold on top. The overall ambiance was quite nice with the cute stuffed mascots.

Its such a cute spot to hang out!! I forgot what I got but its coffee with ube and sea salt caramel

Very good! We'd never been here before but the service was nice and the vibe was quaint and pleasant. I lowkey wished they had flavored green teas but I did enjoy the milk tea that I ordered. Nice place!

Amazing protein smoothie and love that they don't add any sugar to it. Coffee was really good too.

The Ube coffee cake was absolutely divine. We didn't have time to go back again but will visit when on Kona for sure!

I am editing my previous review because the response to my complaint from the managers was…read moreincredible. Their customer service reply really made up for the previous experience with their staff and they ensured me they would address the issue with their team. :) Old review: I visited the Gypsea Gelato in Kona today and was extremely disappointed with the service. I ordered a single scoop child's cone and was told "We only have our Ube waffle cones, we are out of the rest... but don't worry they don't really taste like ube". I said ok, that should be fine since my daughter wants a cone. When I get to the register, after they had already filled her cone, I was told the price was $8.50 for the child's size ice cream and charged an additional $3 for their "specialty cone". Prior to choosing the cone, I was not told anything about it costing $3 additional dollars. Nor that a kids size scoop for that cone would be $8.50 when it should usually be $4.99. So I paid $11.50 for a child's ice cream. When I brought my concern up to the 3 teenagers working there, they all made me feel as though I was in the wrong for not knowing my child's cone would be $11.50. One of the staff checked to see if there was a price on the front of the sample cone thinking she could rub that in my face but there was no price shared. So, I had literally no way of knowing how much I would end up paying until it was too late and no apology or kindness was shown whatsoever. Another staff member said "we aren't in charge of what they give us"... and to that I say, that doesn't absolve you from sharing the price of this speciality option -which again, was the only cone option offered. Had I known I would be paying $11.50 for a child's cone, we would have happily ordered the $4.99 cup. I'd appreciate if the manager would get in touch with me -not so much for the outrageous cost but more for the fact that their staff provided such poor service in not sharing the price, and not trying to kindly resolve the issue.

There is parking and there are plenty of tables to sit & enjoy. There are signs indicating where the food court area is located. It is nice and ample to eat your Malasada or donut. Prices are from $5 to $6 each. We had the Ube 10/10 and Creme Brulee 10/10. I will definitely return.

I stopped by here earlier today with my father for a morning treat. We found Paradise Bakery Hawaii…read moreon Yelp while I was looking for a bakery near Kailua-Kona. This spot is located in a food court area and was actually the only place open when we arrived. Since it is a stall, there is not too much to say other than there were two people working and a large display case filled with donuts, with malasadas in the back. After looking things over I asked if they had a lilikoi circle donut. They did not, but they recommended a strawberry glazed donut with lilikoi filling and I went with that. It came out nicely decorated with a pink glaze and a small dab of cream on top with a butterfly. When I bit into it I was happy with the flavor. The donut itself was light and fluffy and the strawberry glaze was solid. The real standout though was the lilikoi filling, which had that great balance of sharpness and sweetness and paired really well with the donut. My dad ordered a coconut malasada and said it was really good as well. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. They had a big selection of donuts, I enjoyed mine, and I would like to try their malasadas next time.
