Strawberry banana smoothies with almond milk and a green flash smoothie

So happy I found this place for a quick light breakfast. Their smoothies are well balanced and delicious. My child got the French toast sticks with maple syrup on the side which were yummy. I got the turkey and Swiss panini and their oatmeal which both were scrumptious ! The hubs got the egg/bacon croissant which he loved. You can either eat there but they only have 2 benches or take it to go. Also, It is a small shack so 1 person at a time can be in there to order. During the weekend it was busy but weekday it was quick, and they close early. We will be back on our next visit!

Small business with a homie feel. Located right off the main road in between the 2 sea village signs. Nice to enjoy breakfast and take in the beauty of Kona town. Quick walk to seeing the ocean and the sunset. The iced mocha is good and the iced haupia latte is great!!! That was the best!!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS Go here. Wait even if there is a little line. You will not regret it. Local coffee done to PERFECTION. My iced coffee even had coffee ice cubes. The salmon cream cheese bagel knocked me off my feet. The staff were SO KIND AND FRIENDLY I loved them!!! Can't wait to come back here.

I hopped on Yelp and saw that this place was only a short walk from where I was staying, so I put on my walking shoes to go check it out. It's hard to miss since the unique exterior color will catch your eye before the actual sign and it's in a great location - again, I walked but there are a few parking spots available should you feel the need to drive. The barista was friendly and thoughtfully provided suggested since I informed her that I was visiting the area. I ended up ordering a latte and some French Toast (you can't go wrong with the latter, ever) and both were really good. I will say, be sure to pack a little patience because the person that took my order was also the person preparing my order and the order of others (I think the other young lady was on break or stepped away). They were so good, I tried them twice during my visit and although the second day, it wasn't as busy - I still had a short wait. But please go check them out (support local) and let me know what you think!

Excellent coffee and amazing staff! Day two of 14 and we are already hooked. Try the Gianduia with dark chocolate and hazelnut, the Mauna Koa with white chocolate and macadamia, or their 100% Kona cold brew. Even their iced cubes are made from coffee so it doesn't water down. Their hours are limited to the morning, so get your butt out of bed and make your way there! You won't regret it!

Lattes weren't good and the staff was rude, I've had better experiences at other coffee shops nearby.

Great Kona coffee in a wonderful casual atmosphere!…read more I had to meet up/interview a potential Big Island candidate in Kailua-Kona and I was basically looking for a casual place where I could meet, enjoy a drink, and have a little bit of conversation. Kona Coffee & Tea was the place of choice here in Kailua-Kona. Located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, you can find this little coffee shop just next door from KFC. The coffee shop is easy to find, as other business surrounding this business is the KTA Superstore, Hele Gas Station, HFS Federal Credit Union, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many numerous eateries. It was late in the afternoon, so I basically came here for some drinks. I had to try their Kona Coffee, and I must say it did not disappoint! The coffee shop has indoor, as well as covered outdoor seating. The shop does sell some food items, but I did not partake or looked at what they had to offer. There was also coffee shop merchandise, but I did not have time to take a look at what they had to offer. Overall, as great coffee shop and if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for their wonderful coffee.

Kona Coffee & Tea really makes it a point to articulate that their coffee is 100% Kona coffee. Unless you're a coffee connoisseur, you may want to skip the pour over for something a bit less special to save yourself a few dollars. The coffee was fine, but my unrefined palette was not able to fully appreciate the cup of brew. In terms of atmosphere, Kona Coffee & Tea has plenty of seating outdoors around the porch and a few high tables indoor, where they have AC blasting at full strength. They have free Wi-Fi available as well, so I saw a lot of people posting up on their laptops. Parking is plentiful and easy to find since this coffee spot is located in a strip mall. If you have a discerning palette for the subtle flavors that show up in different coffee beans, you will definitely want to stop by for a cup.
