Very Honest people that have emergency hours!…read more I just finished a major remodel of our seasonal residence including new plumbing, electrical and A/C in Key West. The A/C just quit working on a Saturday. I called several companies including the company that installed the new unit to discover none of them offered emergency service on the weekend. I just stumbled on to American Cooling Service and after leaving them a message with their LIVE answering service, Eric (the Tech) called me back within 10 minutes. Eric arrived within 20 minutes and had the problem fixed shortly thereafter. The problem was the A/C drain line clogged which apparently a common problem in Key West. Eric explained in detail how to prevent the line from clogging in the future. I need to add that the General Contractor nor the A/C company that installed the new A/C unit gave me no guidance on how to maintain the drain line. On with the story, Eric present me with a large bill and I thought that was the price that needed to be paid for great service on a weekend. To my amazement, I got a call first thing on Monday morning from the owner of American Cooling Service apologizing that they over changed me for the service and he would be refunding $200. How great is that! It's tough to find an A/C contractor that gives great service and are honest in Key West. I have found my A/C contactor and will call them in the future for service. I will also recommend American Cooling Service to anyone.

Took off the faceplate to find it was not cleaned or anything. They agreed and gave my wife a 9 am time slot. She took off work and they continued to push the time right until 4pm/ closing with no return calls. This review will change if we receive a call back or they show up within the time slot or window in the future. They never called back but showed up late. They were friendly and fixed the issue. No complaints and happy with overall service. Will use again in the future.

They were quick and efficient and their install inside was beyond my expectations. We did have a small hiccup which they took care of immediately. In KW any repair people are difficult to get. Pablo responded to texts and calls and was here when he said. We trusted his advice while making our decision what to install. If he is available for you job, you could not find better. We had contacted him a 2 years ago about an install on a system that was being given to us. He advised against it as it was too big for our house and would have had problems. You can always find someone cheaper but Pablo is the real deal.

He does not answer my calls, he refuses to engage in his promised warranty work. Look, there are MANY A/C companies in Key West that I *should* have contracted. But Curry seemed legit. He was a local and I thought I could trust him. I enjoy helping local businesses... ...however, I should have hired a crew from Miami.
