They advertise locations all over the island but they're fake locations (the FTC says this is a known scam - google: FTC Finding a Locksmith). I point blank asked the woman on the phone if the locksmith was in Long Beach. She hesitated then said yes (my fault, I should have hung up the phone when she paused). The man they sent in arrived within the hour (not bad) BUT once he unlocked my door he said he had to pick up a replacement part from the hardware store that was close by...and left for nearly two hours. When he got back he installed a new lock that I did not need (as I already had a replacement and he said he could use it). And then I get the bill...$230. When I looked at the receipt I realized the company he worked for was a place in the city, not the company in Long Beach I thought I was using. Try doing a search for them in Yahoo Local - you will see their listing come up with about 9 different locations and phone numbers. All of them link back to their website - www.longbeachlocksmith.proteamusa.net Do not repeat my mistake - find a reputable locksmith! I would have put zero stars but was forced to put one.
