I am usually drawn to the Strap-its, comfy pants and sweaters/shirts. I've also gotten some adorable accessories and light jackets in the past. There is almost always some sort of sale going on, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I always find myself chatting with the staff who make me feel welcome and are very knowledgeable about what the store has to sell. I like to make a point to stop by when I am in town, as I can pretty much always find something here. It is certainly worth the time to pop in and look around, you just might find something you like!

Do not consign with them. I was a loyal customer but unfortunately after many issues I finally…read morerealized they are just thefts. They steal your items and say they are either lost or blame you. Even when you follow all their "rules" for consigning, they still find a way to take your things. Or "misplaced them." I have had multiple items stolen. Don't support them. Would give 0 stars if possible.

There is nothing better than word of mouth... A recommendation from a friend whom you trust…read more.. Wait. There is. When said recommendations exceed your expectations! Or? Maybe this recommendation from me, a complete stranger? A few months back a light was shined on this little hidden gem of a lingerie studio and mythical "bra lady" on social media. Intrigued, I started to follow this sister team of bra slingers. Their memes of bras having birthdays, moms going without nice things, being fed up with the way your T-shirt looks over your poorly fitted bra, and so on... all hit so close to home. I finally made an appointment! Today I visited the store. It is tucked away in an adorable little shopping center just off Exit 25 on the Parkway. Very convenient. The shop is incredibly clean, cute, inviting, and organized. (Not that you will need to look very hard, the bra fairies will pull suggestions that will hit the nail every time). I arrived wearing a 34B and left wearing a 30C! Wait. WHAT!? Was I really part of the 80% of women that wear the wrong size? I was. I know this now, because when I was given a bra that fit, my life changed forever. I have never been more comfortable or confident in a dressing room. Seriously. Never will I ever venture into a big retailer or buy a bra online. Too risky. I now know that I need a bra that actually fits. Take the time. Invest in yourself and a decent bra. You are worth it. The girls here will do their magic. Let them.

UNPARALLELED shopping experience! I typically never find clothes that I like, I get overwhelmed in…read morebig department stores, and I always walk out of other stores frustrated & empty-handed. Until I discovered CHIC BOUTIQUE--life changing! The inventory of beautiful clothes is so vast that I always walk out of there with a minimum of 2 shopping bags, (which is unheard of for me if I shop elsewhere-- I don't even like to shop!!) The owners have a great eye and buy beautiful garments to stock in their lovely boutique. But even beyond that, it's the high-touch customer service that keeps me coming back to this spot. The 2 ladies who run the store are exceptional. They give just the right amount of service: not too much where you feel like they're pushing you to buy something, but enough that they're always ON IT. They help you find things that would look great on you and they always take your armful of clothes to the dressing room so you don't have to schlep them around while you're browsing. It is the perfect amount of assistance. They also give honest feedback in the dressing room ranging from: "That looks amazing on you!", to "Nope. I don't love it. Here, give it to me, I'll put it back for you."; so there is no hard-sell with this shopping experience. I honestly feel like I have my own personal assistant whenever I shop there. They are truly a delight to work with and they have helped me SO much. The experience is so wonderfully atypical that I don't even bother to shop anywhere else anymore. This is my one and only go-to place because it's that successful, every time. Ask for Meredith or Andrea when you go and I'm sure they'll make your experience exceptional like they do for everyone. CHIC BOUTIQUE is a rare find. And I never take the time to write a review, but these 2 ladies really do deserve the props.

I spent about $180 on 4 sale bras, a camisole, a leather fall top, and a pair of casual summer pants in a funky print. The bras I purchased last year, also on sale, have become my favorites so I was looking to add more. At this time of year all the jewelry is 50% off as are many other items. They carry some new fall and winter items as well as plenty of after season summer outfits, from mix and match from an Italian company, to mother/daughter bathing suits, short shorts and long trendy jeans. I visited California this summer and many of the items have a distinctly California coast vibe to them. One lady was shopping for a long dress and she looked good in at least two of the ones she modelled, all on sale for 50% off. Last year my mom purchased a number of the Italian one size outfits and was looking to add pieces to them, but the sizing this year was smaller than last year. The proprietor told us many people had trouble with the sizing this year which may account for why she had more left than one would want end of season. I find the items to be affordable for a bit higher end beach wear especially at off season. The proprietor knows her merchandise and is very helpful with questions about fit and quality. I know all of the items I purchased last year became wardrobe favorites, and I was slightly disappointed not to find the same number items I really wanted to take home. Never the less we may make one more stop before the week is out. I would say the clothing and accessories are mid priced for a beach town, different than you find in other stores, a bit beach trendy and would appeal to a mature buyer for some items and a younger buyer interested in California style beach wear. Let me say it is further up 3rd Ave than most of the shops so you can miss it, but there is convenient parking and worth a visit if you are shopping in the area.
