1. They arrive 15 minutes early and call you. Awesome because I set my alarm for 6 PM and not 6 AM and would have missed my flight. 2. The car is stocked with water, mints, and all of the latest gossip magazines. 3. The driver was nice. 4. They call to confirm your return flight and pick-up information. read more

Received a GOOD ole fashion coupon from the blah-blah saver package from snail mail. My wife thought I was being ridiculous about taking the train to SFO so I decided to give these guys a call. Reservation was smooth and courtesy, not to mention they were able to accommodate our reservation the same day. The driver arrived 20 minutes early in a PIMPed AMG S55... I was expecting a good ole town car. Waited patiently in the car while we were finishing lunch. The driver was professional and efficient. Kept this beast in check and stuck with the 10 miles over the limit during the entire ride. Would have been interesting if he gunned it a bit... Echo Abi J's review with the car being stocked with amenities. We arrived at SFO on time and in style. Too bad the ride was so short... Here is the break down without tips from Mountain View. Base Rate = $56.00 Airport Fees = $5.00 Tax = $5.18 Gas surcharge = $2.77 Trip Total = $68.95 read more

My wife and I recently went on a vacation and we just happened to get a flyer in the mail for Island Limousine. After looking at the prices, we realized it was actually cheaper for us to take the limo (towncar, actually) to SFO from Mountain View than it was to take a taxi! We decided to give it a try and we were so happy with the service that we arranged for a pick up on our return while we were riding in the car. Service was prompt, polite, and the ride was extremely smooth. Definitely recommend their service! read more

Fantastic experience. On our departure, our driver arrived 15 minutes early and called to tell me he was here. When I went outside to meet him I was greeted by a very friendly and professional driver with a beautiful high-end Mercedes. On our return trip, we had a bit of a worst case scenario travel day with delays and cancellations. Through it all, Island Limousine kept in contact with me to always know what my current flight number was. From then on they tracked it (through the delays and all) and knew when to arrive at the airport. Same pleasant experience when they picked me up--as courteous and as professional as could be. Total 5-star experience, I'd happy recommend them to anyone and I do plan to use them again soon. read more

Island Limousine is AH-MAZING. Always on time, if not usually early, with a convenient call when the driver arrives. Flexible, very organized, remembers our regular locations, all around the best car service in the bay area. I book reservations for my boss, and the entire firm utilizes Island Limo as well. Beautiful cars, including Mercedes Benz AMG. We always deal with "Mo" and he is just too awesome, no complaints at all. Ask for "Mo"! read more

Love the service. - Very professional. - Always 10-15 min before the appointment.. - Fancy and comfortable cars. - Very easy on line reservation. Cannot get any better than that read more

First time using island limo. Recommended by a friend. They showed up10 mins early. Extremely pleasant. A great Mercedes car, cold bottled water and a very pleasant ride to SFO. Just reserved a time to be picked up when I return. They are also very reasonable cost-wise. Used Island Limo for a second time and again they made the start and end of my trip very pleasant. I will continue to use Island Limo and recommend them. read more

I have been using Island Limo exclusively for the past three years. I travel often for work so I make frequent trips to and from SFO all the time. The cars are always nice and clean and every driver that has picked me up has always been extra courteous and very professional (my favorite cars have been the Mercedes and the Cadillac). I have recommended Island Limo to all of my colleagues who need transportation to and from the airport. The drivers are always about 15 minutes early to pick you up so you never feel like you are being rushed to your destination or worried about being late. They make sure you are comfortable with plenty of water and gum so you feel fresh after those long flights. After three years of service from Island Limo, it is very obvious they really take a lot of pride in their work. I have always been pleased with their services and have never once been disappointed. read more

I am disappointed that this genuine review gets filtered. SO I am going to copy the contents again and then share it on Facebook so at least my friends get the benefit of our experience with Island Limousine. We definitely found a gem in Island Limousine after using a few bad to insipid limo services in the past. They are prompt and courteous, on time and a bit before but not too early, with a very helpful driver and well appointed cars ( including water bottles and magazines). A wonderful find for us and would strongly recommend them..... read more

Just like marriage, in the end, you don't know what people or companies are made of until an issue arises. After a $570 roundtrip ride for 11 in a stretch limo (plus $100 tip) where the stretch had to be switched out for a van out of safety concerns, I was notified by email that: "we left you a voice mail to let you that we will send the 14pax van instead of the Chrysler and the price will be $100 less, and we are very sorry about that we really apologize about this mistake it out of our hand , again we will send you the van instead of the stretch, please once you have this email please contact us by email or by phone to confirm it." I wrote back to thank them for the safety consideration and for compensating us with the $100 discount. It was unexpected but appropriate for them to offer in a customer-oriented business. Besides, this was our 3rd time, I think, using this company. I received an email in the morning telling me that the $100 discount had been a mistake, meant for someone else, but he would offer $50 instead. Huh? The email ended with: "don't forget to yelp us :)" (smiley face theirs) Needless to say, my husband and I were a tad shocked that Island Limousine was not taking responsibility for its own mistake. Perhaps because of my background in public relations, or because we expect people to take responsibility for their mistakes, I wrote back stating: "... you said you were going to compensate us by giving us a $100 discount, then take it back and offer a $50 discount instead. Are you sure you want me to write a review?" Boy, did the mask come off then!!! I got an email berating me and accusing me of trying to extort $50 in exchange for a favorable review! That was even more insulting than going back on the offer! Wait, did he not say "the price will be $100 less" and then berate me for questioning the $50? Wow!!! Everything would have been fine without any offer of a discount. We were disappointed in the change of vehicle but happy to be alive. What was their undoing for me was that they withdrew an offer that they gave us voluntarily. They mistakenly offered a discount, presented as a compensation for the change in service, took it back. When they realized their mistake, they insulted the customer... Creepy. Next mistake, the irate email spitting that they would throw the extra $50 in. I never even asked for a discount. They offered it. I thanked them very graciously. They took it back and asked me to write a review on Yelp. I questioned their customer service expectations, and bam, they came down on us with all their contempt. A classy, customer-oriented company would have acted like "oops; oh yes of course, we are happy to offer you this discount since we did not deliver what you had contracted for, and the mistake in the discount offer was ours". As stated earlier, you just don't know about anyone or any company until there is an issue (one that Island Limousine created). read more

Well, I'm in route right now and decided there isn't a better time to review Island Limo service. Outstanding service so far in every aspect. Easy to book, VERY nice car and driver were at my house as promised and ahead of schedule today before 7 a.m. Vehicle is pristine, smells nice, clean, driver is very professional in appearance and demeanor. I highly recommend Island Limo and doubt you can do better elsewhere. They've got my business for sure. read more

I book Island Limo regularly for my boss who travels a lot. Whether it's 4am pickup or me calling them at the last minute for a car, they are always professional, and always so kind. The whole staff is great, and Moe especially is amazing. I really appreciate this company for the ease of making reservations and the friendliness of everyone. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Island Limo is the best. Very responsive, always on time, easy to work with, great vehicles! I have dealt with a lot of car service companies since I am constantly scheduling cars and NO CAR SERVICE compares. I highly recommend Moe and his team! If I could give them 10 stars I would! read more

We hired Island Limo for our wedding and had 3 different types of limos (Cadillac limo, Escalade Limo, and Large SUV) requests and 3 different pick up and drop off times. Each limo that showed up were not only on time but they were EARLY, which always helps feeling be stress free on your wedding day, and the drivers were all very professional and provided great customer service. I was very pleased with each vehicle too. All were clean outside and inside and no funky smells. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding and/or corporate event. Great job!! read more

Island Limousine was recommended by a friend. I've used their service 3 times now, and they have been very professional and prompt every time. 3 notable advantages over the other 2 car service companies love used. 1. Great fleet. Well maintained and clean. Plus the big bonus of selection the car at reservation. 2. Website is simple to use. I had a great experience when extending an international trip, and being about to modify my reservation on-line. Key benefit when in a time zone15hours away. 3. Dispatch is courteously my flight arrived early, and they promptly transferred my call the driver. This is great to work out the pickup with the driver, and not through a 3rd person. Less mistakes that way. read more

I have used Island Limousine for getting to and from the Bay Area airports several times. The service is fantastic, and the drivers are always courteous and on time. I love riding in the Mercedes sedans though they also have an SUV for if you have lots of luggage. Once I had forgotten to schedule a ride home from the airport and I called before leaving the city I was visiting. They had a car waiting for me at my destination no problem. The service is worth every penny. read more

I love these guys! Always on time, super professional, extremely clean and always smiling. I believe that they work 7/24 because whenever I call them to come and pick them up, they are always available. I wish they had a strong presence in other cities outside the San Francisco Bay Area too! read more

Excellent. We used Island Limo a year ago for a pickup from our wedding and loved how friendly, efficient, and reasonably-priced they were. Overall an great experience. More recently, for our 1 year anniversary, we used Island Limo again for a trip to the airport. Again, very friendly, arrived early (for an early morning pick-up -- and gave a wake-up call), and the driver Mo both remembered our faces and also where he had picked us up for our wedding! Superb customer service. And the car is sweet, too. Seriously, these guys are great. We don't often splurge on black car service, but when we do, we know who we're calling. Thanks Mo and Island Limo! read more

Excellent service. Driver arrived 10 minutes early. The car, temperature and ride was very comfortable from Sunnyvale to SFO Airport. He was very courteous and friendly. I highly recommend and would happily use Island Limo service again read more

Island limo had always gotten me to the airport reliably and for much less than taxis. I've used their service 4 or 5 times and they've never let me down. The driver moe, comes 30 minutes early of the day of travel, and the mercedes is a much nicer ride than a cab. :) read more

Well, those guys are awesome. We've been using them to go to the airport and back for our last three trips abroad and it just rocked ! The cars are luxurious and comfortable, stocked with water and other little things for our convenience, the driver is super nice and drives safely, he comes always early and for some reason it's cheaper than a cab! There's no way we'd ever go back to taking a regular taxi, now. We're hooked! read more

Island Limo is the best in the Bay Area. I am an Executive Assistant at a large financial firm. We use Island limo for all of our executives almost every week. They are totally flexible with us when we change our plans and they have the best rate anywhere. They always arrive early and are very professional with our clients. I would recommend Island Limo to anyone in need of a car service. read more

Excellent service from Mo! I have used many many limo services over the years but this was my first time using Island Limos because of the terrific price compared to others including Uber. Mo arrived a few minutes early, was attentive and friendly but not overly so (as some others are). The car was very clean, stocked with water and playing soothing music. The ride was smooth, safe and fast. Highly recommend Island Limos and Mo! read more

When choosing a limo company fot my wedding day, it wasn't entirely the cost because I had heard horror stories of limos that didn't show up or made for a horrible day. I didn't want to risk that for a couple hundred dollars, so I went with island limos and their great service and reasonable prices. They make sure to roll out the red carpet "literally", and provide top noch service. Thank you so much. For a memorable day for all the good reasons! read more

This was our first experience using Island Limousine. The driver arrived a few minutes early, which we appreciated. He was friendly and professional. The car exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use this service in the future. read more

My plane was delayed in Boston so I didn't want to trouble a friend for a ride home around 1 am. After checking with several limo companies and taxi services, I decided to use Island Limo...primarily because their rate was so much lower than the others. I just needed a ride home. I honestly wasn't expecting much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The car was waiting there on time. The car was lovely, clean, with enough water bottles for five and a neck rest, should I need one. The driver was impeccably dressed and could not have been nicer or more professional! What a find! read more

Island Limo provided an excellent ending for our anniversary trip, picking us up from SJC. I called the 800 number when we got to baggage claim and 10 min later they were there at the entrance. Mo took our luggage loaded us into the SUV and drove us home to Mountain View - didn't even ask for directions! (Although they did have a GPS) I would use them again. read more

My husband and I used Island Limousine last summer and again last week when we needed transportation to/from the San Jose Airport. We had never used a limousine service before, always believing it to be too expensive. We had only used the airport shuttle services. Well -- never again will we use those airport shuttle services. It is only going to be Island Limousine for us whenever we need transportation to/from the airport!! Island Limousine has the best service. Reservations are easy to make on-line. They are prompt, friendly and courteous. The cars are clean and roomy. And the price is extremely reasonable -- especially for a family of three! If you ever need airport transportation, call Island Limousine. You certainly won't regret it and you'll never use another service again! read more

This is my first yelp review, but I figured this service was worth rating. I tried island limo for the first time last night and it was fantastic! I needed to go to the airport and after searching on yelp, I realized this service was actually cheaper than a cab. They were very accomodating in spite of my late notice, but I think in general 24 hours heads up is preferred. My driver (Eddy) was early, professional and highly entertaining. The car was a nice Mercedes with water bottles, neck pillow and soothing music. And the ride was quick from palo alto. Will definitely be choosing them again! read more
