My initial goal was to put my 5 year old to sleep and have a nanny watch guard in case he wakes up while me and my husband have some adult dinner. That didn't happen. Brittany came prepared to entertain my son in the hotel room for 5 hour (way past his bedtime). She came 3 days during our stay and my some waited for her like he waited for Santa. I was working West Coast hours and really just needed some morning help a couple of times a week (6-8am including drop offs) and Friday date nights (at least every other week). To top it off, we were accustomed to Spanish Speaking Nannies only. No doubt we were in trouble... That is, until we found Nicole. WOW. Talk about a MIRACLE right when we needed one. Not only was Nicole able to find a Spanish Speaking Nanny that available for mornings and date nights, but our nanny she was young, fun, loved to swim and she also loved to spend time at the beach,cook and teach about healthy eating. We lived at the Marriott in Waikiki for 60 days and this Nanny happen to live walking distance away so we used her way more than we expected and she was just a Saint. All we wanted and more! Fast forward two months. We received our household goods and moved into our house in Kailua. Bad news was that our Nanny was leaving the Island now unexpectedly. We knew we were in trouble but Nicole pulled through AGAIN! This time with a slightly older nanny that has literally taken on the role of Auntie/Grandma. Full of LIFE, full of FUN, a Professor Teaching Spanish, a Certified Nurse, a Mom and a local to Kailua. What more could we ask for? This current nanny has now become family and we are SO thankful for her and for Nicole and Paradise Nannys. We truly do not know what we would have done without Nicole's help. THEIR ARE MASSIVE problems with the administration, they are rude and often call 15 minutes after the helper was supposed to arrive to let me know known one is coming. This shows total disregard for us their customers. My home is not very dirty and I am kind to the helpers. They should not be allowed to be in business, seems like fraud, their is even a rumor going around that they don't pay on time or ever. That's really sad. I doubt they have a valid licience.

I feel their actions endangered the safety and welfare of my children, and feel compelled to warn other parents about them before someone's child gets hurt. Hopefully this review will serve as a proper warning to absolutely stay away from this agency. My wife and I were looking for live-in help with our newborn twin boys and 2 year old daughter. We found Heaven Sent Nanny through a quick Google search. She seemed responsive and professional. We read through some of the candidates profiles, did a few Zoom interviews and decided on a young woman from the midwest. A few weeks into working with the new nanny we noticed some odd behavior, and then some very alarming facts came to light and we had to let her go immediately. My wife and I are extremely sympathetic to those with severe mental health issues, but don't feel live-in child care is an appropriate career. We made Heaven Sent Nanny aware, and that's when things got bizarre. Heaven Sent Nanny shot back with a flippant and defensive email. Heaven Sent Nanny accused us of going through the Nanny's personal belongings, when her medications were left open and unattended on her nightstand, in plain view and easy reach of our two year old. Heaven Sent Nanny said we were deceitful liars in the method used to peacefully and safely remove the Nanny from our home. Heaven Sent Nanny also admitted to knowing that the Nanny had been institutionalized for two years for anger issues when she was younger, but didn't feel this should disqualify her from being sent out as a live-in Nanny. "She was an angry child, not violent, huge difference". I asked Heaven Sent Nanny how she was in any way qualified to make that determination, and ultimately shouldn't that be the parents decision? I was shocked by Heaven Sent Nanny's irresponsibility and indifference to the welfare of my children. I was further appalled by how she spoke to my wife and I. I felt her behavior was dangerous, negligent and extremely unprofessional. I trusted that Heaven Sent Nanny was thoroughly screening their nanny's before sending them to live in people's homes. Heaven Sent Nanny was aware of the Nanny's mental health issues, did not disclose this information to us, and sent the Nanny to care for my children anyway. I was furious. I asked to be reimbursed the several thousand dollars it cost to hire and remove the Nanny from our home, and Heaven Sent Nanny went dark. I then filled a dispute with the credit card company. As all this was happening, a replacement nanny was on her way to replace the fired nanny. Thankfully the new Nanny is amazing and working out very well, but we could have hired her directly from a well known home-care website. Shortly thereafter, Heaven Sent Nanny's behavior became even more frightening and bizarre. She posted comments about my wife and I on her public Facebook page. Then over the following two weeks, she power-called, emailed and texted our current replacement nanny ,writing extremely inappropriate things. The new Nanny forwarded the emails Heaven Sent Nanny had written, and they were very disturbing. Heaven Sent Nanny insisted the new Nanny quit working for us, and was also encouraged the previous Nanny to file a lawsuit against us, amongst other things. At this point we had to get a lawyer involved for our own safety. A few weeks later Heaven Sent Nanny attempted to leave a personal attack of my character as a negative review for my business, and also reported me to the IRS for allegedly paying my nanny under the table. We filed a complaint with the Oregon Department of Justice, Case# FF2394-21 In summary, I found Heaven Sent Nanny to be grossly unprofessional, vindictive, belligerent and quite frankly dangerous to work with. They directly endangered the welfare of my children.
