When we walked in we were greeted by the owners and family. My girlfriend had her first experience with oxtail, I had the brown stew chicken. The food was tasty, well cooked and not too spicy. We ate-in and enjoyed the food till we were full and took the rest to go. My girlfriend had some great conversation with the ladies and told them it was my birthday. They all sang me Happy Birthday and then gifted me some delicious rum cake. If you are in the area I would suggest you seek them out.

I was told they have moved the restaurant to Main Street in Beacon and are no longer in Poughkeepsie.
