I stumbled across this equestrian center through Groupon. I am so glad I did because I love riding…read morehere. There are so many riding stables that are much closer to my home, but I prefer to ride here (it's one of long islands best kept secrets) because everyone is so nice and there's no attitude or drama (unlike other stables on the island). I always feel like I have the ring to myself which is hard to find on the weekends. This farm is not massive but that's one of the things I like about it. Michelle treats all the horses like her personal pets and takes such good care of them. All of the horses I've ridden were amazing. Beau is by far my favorite horse but Kellie and Kiowa are also great. My 9 year old son used to take lessons on Kiowa and Pistol Pete. Michelle was great with him. Even though he wasn't really into riding she was so patient. Now he just loves to hang out at the farm while I ride on Saturdays. I've watched Michelle teach many children's lessons and noticed she explains riding in a way that children understand. With me (an adult that returned to the ring after a 30 year hiatus) she's soft spoken and provides quality feedback. She's certainly not one of those trainers that yells at you. If you're looking for a laid back down to earth stables with quality horses and a great trainer then look no further. You'll find your home here.

Love the drama free atmosphere. This farm works as a team & supports each other, which is amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking to board or to receive lessons. All the farm staff, trainers & boarders have become family to me. The care, knowledge & professionalism can't get better!

Extremely unprofessional!…read more I offer handyman/construction/renovation services. One of Brian's (the owner) associates reached out to me asking if I could do some work for them around the farm. I contacted Brian, and after a week of going back and forth and having him cancel on me twice to come take a look and give him an estimate for the work, we settled on 11:00 AM on a Monday morning. I got to the farm right on time, and after 20 minutes, couldn't find anybody around. I tried calling but there was no answer, so I texted Brian to let him know I was there and to ask where I could find him. After another 20 minutes of not hearing anything back, I called him again. No answer; left him a voicemail. Nothing. In total, I spent over an hour waiting there before I turned around and drove back. It's now been over a month, and not only has he not apologized for wasting my time, he never even acknowledged the calls or texts that I sent him while I was there. This is no way to run a business. If I ran my business this way, I'd have no customers. Keep in mind, this was the OWNER that I was dealing with. Brian--don't call upon an independent contractor to take time out of their work day to drive to your farm for a free estimate, make them wait there for an hour, and then ghost them. It doesn't look good on you or your business!

I had a steady private lease with a horse that was being boarded at this barn. After 2 years the…read moreowner sold the horse to Brian and I was promised my lease would be honored still. Brian was so difficult to contact from day 1 and messed around with the days I was leasing. He also never paid the horse's owner in full for the sale and expected me to pay for him. After continuing on like this for another 6 months, I show up to ride one day and my horse is GONE. I was told Brian sold him. No other information given to me. I had already paid my lease for the month and had ridden a few days before. No one had given me a heads up that they were looking to sell him, and Brian never returned any of my phone calls. This was in October. Today I found out that the horse is at an AUCTION BARN in Pennsylvania. Not only is Brian unreliable when trying to do business with him, but clearly he doesn't care about the well-being of his horses. The only positive to the place is the Trainor Joanie. She is a great Trainor and she actually takes care of the horses. The rest of the staff is chaotic

I've been riding horses for 14 years and when i got my first horse and boarded him there, there was nothing but problems. I had a camera in my horses stall and caught a person throwing a bucket at my horse and calling him a nasty motherf**ker. They didn't grain him like they said they were, they never turned him out like they said they were, and they never cleaned his stall. I was mortified to see how my horse was living after a few weeks. Before i could even get him out of there, they found my horses old owners and were telling him how i was abusive to my horse and that they needed to take him back. I unfortunately lost my heart horse in the process of all this. I hope these people rot in hell for what they put all these people and all of these poor animals through. This place is a complete dump... and that's a compliment. I don't know how they still have animals, let alone CHILDREN, with how many reports to the SPCA they've gotten. I wish i could give them less than 1 star. Stephanie is a nasty, lying, conniving and manipulative person. Never trust a word that comes out of her mouth. She's full of shit and will fuck you over. And as for Dan. I never had a huge problem w/ him Bc he was barely around. But he lied about feeding the horses too. Good luck to anyone that reads these reviews and still decides to board there. You were warned.
