The guy Jason that was going to do the service called at 10am and said he was going to come then instead. I said NO, as I had a commitment until noon. I made the appointment at noon for a reason. He was slightly upset. He showed up two hours LATE at 2pm. He walked in and kept saying how horrible my carpets were. I agree they are not in great condition and I certainly didn't expect for him to make them look new again. He said he couldn't steam clean them with the Groupon, but for a very special price of $400 he could. I said all I wanted was them steam cleaned. He started insulting my home and I asked for the owner's name. He said he is the owner. I asked him to leave and said I'd just ask for a refund on the Groupon. He then went into my bedroom and started taking pictures, he said they were proof. I told him again to leave! He then started getting very angry and taking pictures of me up close with the flash on. I finally got him out of my house and I followed to lock the gate. He called me every name in the book at the gate and told me he should come back and kill my dog, referring to my very scared Maltese puppy that was in my arms. I told him I was going to call the cops at which point he physically pushed me! I screamed and a neighbor came to my assistance and forced him to leave. The cops were called and an investigation is on-going. The cops reminded me I should have looked further into the business before allowing them in my home. Lesson learned from this nightmare!

Based on the high ratings, we called ProDry (keep reading). Our call was answered and an appointment was made for the following day between 1 and 3. We received a call a little after noon the next day indicating that the team was on its way. They called again when they were a few minutes away. I appreciated the calls as too many times businesses simply don't show up. Lisa and Rob arrived and indicated that they weren't from Pro Dry, but were from Steam Team. Josh from Pro Dry was on vacation and apparently diverted calls to Steam Team. Ok, that wasn't clear upfront, but I also didn't verify the information myself. Regardless, it didn't matter. Lisa and Rob assessed the situation, gave a fair estimate and went to work. They cleaned and protected the two bedroom carpets as well as two rugs that were heavily soiled. They were in an out in about an hour and did great work. In short, they were timely, fast, efficient, fairly priced and everything you'd expect from a professional carpet cleaning service.
