I paid the $159 service fee for a dryer diagnosis. The technician never opened or disassembled the dryer, yet diagnosed it as needing over $560 in parts (belt, shaft, idler pulley). My husband later opened the dryer himself and found the real issue--a washcloth stuck in the drum. All parts were intact and working. Our GE Monogram propane cooktop/range had an ignitor issue. The range and oven worked but we had that incessant clicking noise of a burner when it lights - 24/7. Plan A: We call A+ Prestige and they made a service call and ordered a new ignitor. Two months and Invoice #71388 for $1494.24 later - the part comes in. Two technicians worked for almost 4 hours installing the ignitor and then troubleshooting why we still had the issue. No answers. Plan B : We decided to have A+ Prestige give us prices for new cooktops/ranges as well as a new compactor as ours was on it's last leg. The technicians left without leveling the range after they pulled it away from the wall. Details. One technician asked to use our powder room before they left. They owe us a can of Glade. Nice touch. We never heard back from them and now several months have passed and we have moved on to Plan C. Guess the owner of A+ Prestige doesn't follow up with technicians on what next steps might be with their customers. Great business model. read more

After a few minutes of bickering with me, THE CUSTOMER, we finally figured out why all this had happened. It wasn't their fault for not acting on a service order from Amana, not setting up the appointment, not calling me the day before to confirm the appointment, none of those things......................The real problem she tells me is that I'M NOT A LOCAL !!!!! I advised her that I have been in the keys possibly longer than she's been alive however, that made no impact. Then I requested that she show me on the warrantee from Amana where it said I had to be a local. Silence for a moment !! It is obvious that there is no follow-up from the owner or anyone older than 12 at this business. A real shame as it seems this is the case nowadays from most service providers. Very disappointing ! I had water under my washing machine and requested their services. A nice young man came and as soon as he saw the machine diagnosed the problem as that the gasket had a hole and it needed to be replaced, he did not check anything else , the cost of the repair was almost the cost of a new one , so I decided to buy a new one. Twelve days later and with a new washing machine I noticed I still had water on the floor. I called them so see if they will come and check again since they had misdiagnosed the problem and the fee of $149. 00 has a 30 days guarantee. The lady refused and claim since I did not have the old washing machine it was not covered. She missed the fact that the reason they came was because I had water on the floor, it was their job to figure out where the water came from The lady was not nice nor accommodating. Excellent on all levels of service! Great communication about setting up a service day, then a follow up call with a 3 hour time window, then the repairman arrived promptly. He was friendly, efficient, clear, and helpful. He completed the work and took a picture of the area that was cleaned that I could not see otherwise. He replaced the part that I supplied and showed me how to use it. We set up a regular annual maintenance plan. I feel very positive about their expertise. The bill was about half of what I had been quoted by others. This business is local, too, which I prefer. I highly recommend A+ Prestige for appliance repair and maintenance. read more

I really hate to leave a bad review especially for a Mom and Pop business but in this case I just had to. Come March and my Bosch dishwasher gives us a E15 Code Error. I called this company as they were referred by Bosch as one of their authorized dealers. They give me an appointment weeks out, ok everyone is weeks out. Came and charged me $150 for the service call, ok, your time is money. I'm ok with that. Tech said it was the "motor" and he had to order one. Returns in April installs the motor leaves and machine give us an E15 error. They say they r booked for weeks and so we wait for weeks. Comes May and he says he broke a seal when he installed the "motor" and he has to order the seal. Now we r in June. They come with the seal and he says it's fixed!! We are ecstatic! Happy Days return to our household! The machine now gives us a Code Error. This time they come back in the afternoon and say it's a loose wire. It was and now the machine is working, at last. After three months. They were nice enough, at the end and they did return calls, at the end. And you know what, they live a few blocks down the street from me (it's a small town!) Two stars, one out of relief that they fixed it at all and the second because they were nice, at the end.... Maybe Bosch is not their expertise. Maybe they r good with other brands. read more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Professional, courteous, highly attentive, and communicative. They have stuck with me, and advocated for me, through fourteen months of nonsense fighting with Bosch over a brand new refrigerator that didn't work right from the day it was delivered. the entire team at A+ Prestige literally fought along with me as this was ridiculous from the start and Bosch allegedly sent a replacement unit to the "wrong address;" did not have "icemakers in stock," and so many other issues. A+ is/was phenomenal--the reality is that Bosch has been the nightmare and their appliances have really been hit or miss. This company has cost me so much of my time and money. When I first contacted A+ Prestige Appliance it was because I needed service on my Bosch dishwasher; the drop-down door was not closing all the way and there was an issue with the spring system of the door. My dishwasher door would drop down real hard all the way to the floor (instead of slowly coming down) and I believe that with time it slowly pulled the dishwasher out of its socket causing it to turn off halfway through the cycle because the door would gradually become ajar while running. I called the company and had a repair person out to my house to fix the issue and they did it successfully. Now, after they came out and fixed that problem, all of a sudden the water would stop draining (which didn't happen before) and the water would end up pooling at the bottom of the dishwasher. I called the company back and explained to them that this was happening and they said they would send somebody out to evaluate the issue but they were going to have to charge me for the evaluation because it was passed their 30 day policy (I was out of town for business most of the month and simply didn't get an opportunity to use the dishwasher). I understand that this is their policy but considering that this second problem arose after their previous repair I think they should've been more understanding and considered the circumstances. Whatever, I didn't want to argue and just wanted my dishwasher to work so I paid the fee and dealt with it. The company sent another repair person for a second time, this time to evaluate the issue and they now notice that there is a problem with a drainage part. At this point I have to order a new drainage piece which I will be charged for on top of the evaluation AND the service fee (for an issue that magically appeared after they serviced it the first time). Anyway, they ordered the part, came back a third time and repaired the dishwasher so it is now working. NOW THE DISHWASHER DOOR IS MESSED UP AGAIN. This time, I made sure to call them immediately to report this issue so I don't get charged an arm and a leg again and we made an appointment for yet another service repair. Now this is where the final straw was drawn and what has pushed me to this Yelp review. When I called to make this appointment I spoke to Alice (their office manager that I have been dealing with throughout this entire ordeal). When I spoke to her on the phone I requested that they come on a Wednesday because it is the only day that I can have somebody at the house to receive them (so I don't have to keep missing time from work to be there myself, which costs me money every time). She advises me that they do not do service repairs on Wednesdays so now I have to contact the woman that cleans my house to see if she can try to come on a Tuesday instead of Wednesday because of the circumstance. She was kind enough and thankfully able to switch around her clients and make the accommodation for me (which she did not have to) and made it possible to come on the Tuesday that the service repair person would be there. I confirmed the appointment with Alice and she advised me that somebody would call me the day before the scheduled service date to give me a time window for the service. Fast forward to today (scheduled service date). I called them to see what time they would be going to my house to finally repair my dishwasher (because I never got that call yesterday regarding the time window) and Alice answered. I asked her what time somebody would be going over today and she tells me that the other day after we spoke on the phone when scheduling the appointment that she called me back because all a sudden they can do the repair on Wednesday. I did not receive that phone call. She also claims that she left me a message but I do not have any evidence of either a missed call nor a voice message. Alice then took it upon herself to reschedule my appointment that I made specific accommodations for without my confirmation. When I explained this to her over the phone she proceeds to repeat "but I left you a message" as if that is reason enough to reschedule it. In my opinion, I think Alice should've at least followed up after this alleged voicemail with another phone call either that same day or at some point after to confirm with me before taking it upon herself to make the changes. I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company, have LOST even more money by missing time from work and in the end my dishwasher is still not fully repaired. I have contacted Bosch and am about to contact the Better Business Bureau of Miami to report them because I believe that they are thieves and they have no sense of customer service and/or consideration for their customers. I advise anyone that needs a repair for their dishwasher or any other appliance to try and go with someone else if they can help it. A+ Prestige? More like F minus! read more

I've used this business three times, and they are extremely courteous and professional. Very competent when it comes to Bosch/Sub-Zero appliances (and I'm sure other brands too - those are just the two I have needed their help with). They take the time to explain exactly what is going on so that even a client who is completely clueless with appliances (aka me) could have a basic understanding of the issue. We bought a new dishwasher...Bosch...high end, quiet, expensive. Then we found out there was nobody to deliver it to Key Largo. We paid to have it brought down. Then we hired someone to install it. Then it leaked. We contacted Bosch, and they said they had no service reps in our area. (That dead end wasted lots of time.) Bosch said "bring it back and we'll replace it". Not trivial, we are in the Keys and the purchase site was on the mainland. Bosch was very little help. Finally and thankfully, a new service opened up...A+ Prestige. We contacted Alberto Estevez, Jr., and he came out promptly. He fixed the original problem, then he fixed the other issues created by "dead end" drama mentioned above.) Net: Finally we have the fully-functioning, not-leaking high-end product we thought we bought. Mr. Estevez did a GREAT job, and he was cordial and reasonable in price. He has already contacted Bosch on our behalf to inform them of the original problems with the newly purchased device. Mr. Estevez is "our appliance guy" from now on. read more
