The two gentlemen working there were humble, respectful, and incredibly friendly--they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding. Wanted to try another new place so stopped by their drive thru! The service is nice, I said I didn't like onions so she said the California has onion and recommended to get them removed. (This is why there's no guacamole on items, but got it on the side.) I also got the asada fries which were better! Total $32 for two items. The asada fries aren't too bad. The owner Lady is Legendary for Rudeness. lol if you ask people around town they all say the same thing. " I use to go there but the lady at the counter is sooo rude I just stopped going. The food is mid pretty expensive which I can get past. but being rude all the time is crazy. Ordered asada fries and it had very little meat, a small spoonful of sour cream and guac. An abundance of melted cheese but it was just not very satisfying. Also, they're stingy with napkins. Went there tonight with Family. The waitress did a great job serving us however she ruined all her hard work by yelling at me for asking to pay separately. Should I have mentioned it earlier yes but I am not paying for food out to be yelled at . Very rude! From the looks of yelp it looks like I am not the first to complain about her rude behavior. This facility is poorly ran. Explains why it is completely empty upon arrival. The lady is extremely rude; when i kindly asked her what size cup (from the ones displayed) was the small for the horchata drink, she points and says "that one"..mind you we're like 100ft from the beverages. Mexican food is one of my favorites and somehow the chili verde platter that I've ordered didn't have taste and it was soupy! The burrito was tasteless. I give good reviews on food as my #1 priority. Second is the service which was average. The venue comes last and it's clean and average looking. I gave good tips mainly for the cashier and the chef regardless of the food quality for their efforts to serve properly. I wish the owner/s will evaluate the quality of their food in order to attract repeat clientele considering of high visibility of Mexican restaurants around the area. The competition is tough! It is crazy to me that I was kindly talking to the cashier and then I asked for lemon when she continued to add an additional charge. There was flies all over the restaurant the food was horrible. The chile verde looked like chicken the beans and rice were horrible with them tasting watered down the burrito was poorly wrapped didn't have no meat only had beans for the most part. The prices are overcharged for the horrible service and food. The only thing that was decent was the drinks but yet they were watered down. I hate being those people but... if I could give this place negative stars, I would. From the moment I stepped into this restaurant it felt dirty ( I was here with family so I didn't have a say in this decision) The service was awful, the cashier/server made us feel as if she was doing us a favor by even talking to us. My sister's food had hair in it and when we asked if she could give us a new plate she was rude and pretended to not see the hair and kind of gave us shifty looks. Sometimes I can ignore bad service if the food is amazing. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. I ordered the chilaquiles plate which had the chilaquiles, scrambled eggs, beans and "country potatoes" the chilaquiles were very dry, the scrambled eggs were watery, the beans were completely rancid and the country potatoes were just those frozen fries cut into smaller pieces. Isidro's was recommended to me and I became obsessed with trying them out after reading their Yelp reviews and seeing that they had a chile relleno burrito (under $8 with tax). I used to enjoy those at a restaurant that's since closed and rarely see it on menus. This was legit. The tortilla was soft and fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted. It was accompanied by two salsas -- tomatillo & pico de gallo. The only difference was that their version is dry. The only con is that I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't leave any leftovers! Next time, we may eat there (a huge plus is that they serve beer, too) and I may ask for this burrito wet (covered in red sauce). read more

Arrived at lunchtime on a saturday and no one was in the restaurant so asked if they were open and the response was -you are in arent you (in spanish). Asked how the Al Pastor and Carnitas were and response was i dont know, you have to try it. The restaurant was freezing inside! Ordered the Chili Relleno plate and Al Pastor burrito. The interior is a bit overpowered with the odor of industrial cleaner and the attitude of staff can be best described as indifferent. The written price on the menu was not honored at the register. I was in the area and decided to pick up dinner from the drive thru. Friendly service and yummy food for the win. I tried fish tacos, flan, and Jamaica tea. The nice lady who took my order and gave me the food cautioned me to keep the flan level so as to keep it from spilling. A Super Chicken Cali. Best Cali i have had. The next time i went, I had that and the Bean and cheese burrito(Felt like having a fat day). BEST bean and cheese Burrito in town. the 3rd time i went i tried the Sausage breakfast burrito, was good, not great but good cant win them all.
